The store is not so big, but compact nevertheless is well stocked, especially with fresh fruits and IT section. The staff is friendly. This is one of the cleanest marts in the are. The floors and the restrooms are shiny! During the day the place can get overcrowded and finding a parking place can be a challenging enterprise. But after 10 pm this is not a problem. However, something else arises - a lot of strangers hanging around asking for pocket money, food and selling whatever they have to sell.

Multiple employees walked by. I asked each of them to help me but none of them had a key. After ringing the buzzer four times and waiting 30 minutes still, no one had come to help me and one employee pointed out the woman who had the key which was talking to another employee and let her know I was waiting, but she proceeded to attack for an additional five minutes, so I just left the store and will never be returning, even though I live less than a mile away.

I recently took one of my vehicles to a different Walmart and it was an absolutely horrible experience. The appointment I had was for 7:00am and to make a long story short they did not return my vehicle until almost 10:00am. All they had to do was replace 1 tire. 1 TIRE! Needless to say, I will never return to that location for automotive service. Anyway, my experience here was like night and day. I ordered 4 replacement tires for my other vehicle a couple of days ago and my appointment for installation was this morning at 10:00am. I actually arrived somewhat early and the gentleman at the service desk checked me in at around 9:50am. He told me that it would take approximately 60 minutes to complete the changing of all 4 tires which I thought was rather fast. I walked around the store and all of a sudden I received a text message from the Walmart Automotive Department stating that my vehicle was ready for pickup. WHAT? Not possible, it's 10:06am at this time! I had to go back there and see if it was a mistake. I walked to the back of the store to where automotive is to see what was going on. Sure enough, my car is sitting in a different location in the parking lot wearing 4 new and beautiful tires. I was just in disbelief how fast they were, I mean thst was 16 minutes from the time they checked me in to the time they text me that the car was done. I jokingly asked them if they had a NASCAR pit crew working back there. I usually don't ask to speak with the store manager unless something has gone seriously wrong and even then I really hate doing so. However this time I asked to speak with the manager because I simply wanted to take a minute to acknowledge his team members at the automotive department and their excellent customer service and very expedient service on my vehicle. So thank you DeRell and all the team members that did such a great job of getting me in and out of the store in record time. The next time I need replacement tires, I'm definitely heading to the Walmart Super Center in Lockport, Illinois.

The reason I use this one though is I like the pharmacy the other bigger Walmart kind of let me down a few years back and so I have really no reason to return to it I mainly use this Walmart for the pharmacy for a couple of pills that I don't get from Walgreens that I don't mind paying cash for. Congestion isn't usually as bad as this one either although it's a little tricky getting in and out back off of the road but it is what it is.

Without any notification, Walmart canceled the order. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment, the staff couldn't locate the tires--until they eventually found them sitting in the section designated for returns. I asked, "If the tires are physically here and already paid for, why can't you install them?" The associate replied, "They're no longer in the system. I can't install them." I then asked if I could simply take the tires elsewhere since I had already paid and had the receipt. The answer: no. They insisted the tires had to be returned. That makes no sense--Here's the receipt...I paid for the product, yet I wasn't allowed to receive it. On 8/28, I spoke with the store manager, Gail. Unfortunately, the conversation was unproductive. She repeatedly interrupted me, refused to let me explain, and when I asked her to stop cutting me off, she denied doing so. She told me to speak with her manager instead. She also claimed I had to physically come into the store to get my refund. She also insisted that I had to come into the store to receive a refund, despite the fact that Walmart had already credited back the labor charge to install tires through PayPal. Why can they refund labor electronically but not the tires? Lack of Talent! I drove back to the store to resolve the issue. The Tire Department Manager told me I needed to speak with a "Coach" at Customer Service. The Coach admitted he didn't know how to process an online refund and that I would have to come back to the store and talk to a Manager. While I was speaking with him, Gail appeared again and began confronting me. At that point, I told her to step away--I will not deal with a rude, dismissive, ignorant manager who shows zero respect for paying customers. This entire experience has been frustrating, time-consuming, and frankly insulting. I was denied the product I paid for, forced to chase down a refund for almost 2 weeks, wasted gas and time and treated with hostility by management. Walmart should not treat customers this way. My advice: stay far away from this location AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

So I bought a new 55 inch Samsung smart t.v, got home to find out when I plugged it in the screen was cracked. Made a call to the store to make sure I can make an exchange, and they said yes come to customer service. I asked them to put a t.v on hold because it was thanksgiving day and I spent my holiday shopping at this so called 4 star store. Got in the store and customer service was closed so I contacted management. Made the call and kept getting transferred,finally Chris answered and told me there's nothing he can do. NO apologies I received except from the employees in the electronics dept. Chris was rude on the phone and was to lazy to do a thing about the situation so I had to carry the t.v out the store and hope a good working t.v is still on the shelf .Their management team doesn't deserve any stars but the other employees that helped with the sale did a good job . I even got a meijer credit card this day but guess what?? I'll never use it because that will be my final time in the store... read more

Horrible job pharmacy staff! When I went to pick up my prescriptoin with my $25 transfer coupon from Jewel (which I was told would be honored by a staff member in a previous phone conversation), I was refused my coupon. Then when I asked for my prescription to be returned, I was told that it would need to be transferred and could not be handed back to me. This made me feel like a real helpless idiot, and everyone just kind of shrugged as they took my money. What is this, customer service or customer control? read more

I have been in retail for years and I am all about customer service. Every single employee there is so nice and acknowledged everyone while they are working. Very clean store. Great presentation always. Even food. They have great deals. Went a few months ago and bought a ton of clothes for such a huge discount. It's a bit of a drive for me other grocery stores are closer but my husband and I will definitely be driving there instead. Thanks for great service. read more

What a nice store for groceries, they hit a home run in the Homer location. I like that they have staff around for question. Also the meat selection is great, way better than the store across the street. It reasonable and taste better. The only thing that I dont like it the licquer in the middle of the groceries. A young man named Chris, who I believe was a front end manager, came out to assist. While helping me try to come up with a solution, a customer who was parked by my car, had a jack and tie wraps and together he and Chris got the guard fastened back up. I couldn't thank them enough for helping me out. Companies with employees like Chris are lucky. Above and beyond employees are hard to find, but Chris is definitely one of them.
