Millennial pharmacists need to learn some manners. Yes, I'm over twice as old as they are, but I'm in almost full control of my faculties, so don't talk to me like I'm a foolish child. I don't like it when young strangers assume I can be addressed by my first name. It's insulting when I ask to be addressed with proper respect and they don't listen to what I say. I'm not being pretentious when I introduce myself as Dr. de Silva, I want to be treated with respect. I also want to know that my records will be filed correctly by my last name. The worker who may or may not be a pharmacist was not clear on how first names and last names work, which did not instill confidence. Still, better than Walgreens I guess.

The Meijer store on 5800 W Layton is back to blocking ALL electronic wheelchair carts. Background: January 5, 2020, the bully of a greeter, had lined up all the carts and blocked them in with the infant seat shopping cart.  He was even grouchy enough to fuss to his co-workers that someone had ruined his organization by moving the infant cart to get to an electronic cart. Yesterday, March 5, 2021: ALL of the electronic wheelchair carts were back in military formation and ALL were officially un-usable because of charging.  I'm not claiming quality photography, but you'll see in the attached pictures, the proof of this ridiculous situation. The signs say UNWELCOME to any customer who can't walk the giant store with concrete flooring. If the rude greeter is still working and is back to his old tricks, Meijer needs to know his obnoxious behavior is giving them a bad reputation.

Wholly fu#k this store has redeemed the Meijer brand that the Wauwatosa location ruined so I have to add them to yelp and leave a review. I have given up on the Wauwatosa deli because of the I don't give a Fu#k, stop bother me and I'm going to ignore you so you will walk away attitude so I don't even bother with the deli, the whole store attitude is like that when you ask for help. Right away as I walked in I got a hello from the greeter and at least half of the employees that I walked past said hello or can I help you find something, right off the bat your getting a good vibe unlike the Wauwatosa store. I was dreading going to the deli here totally expecting a crap experience but at least 5 people asked to help me while I was there and I was helped right away. I immediately asked to talk to the deli manager and explained the Wauwatosa store and thanked her for a job well done by her department and told her that I will be used this store. I actually got more deli items here than I intended because they were so helpful and the woman helping me told me that this is what I can expect so start so start using this location. The staff is better trained at this location and way friendlier which was a night and day difference and just blew me away. I'm sad to say that the crap Wauwatosa store is on work drive so I will have to use them from time to time but if I'm not at work I will definitely use this location. Ok the store it self is basically a different super Walmart, the one stop shop with everything in one place. There is a fresh baked pizza stop where you can grab a slice of hot pizza, a Starbucks, great clips, clothes, shoes, automotive, toys, pharmacy etc. I'm giving five stars for a great experience compared to the Wauwatosa location, the employees compared to any store were super nice and friendly, like Chick fil A people. _\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ This store is nothing like when it first opened, the deli sucks now, they are not trained well and leave the plastic wrapper on the sliced meats so you eat plastic before you realize that that the sandwich is a little off.

A clean store with uncluttered aisles. The checkout process is painless, and the employees are friendly. Decent prices as well.

With them just remodeling the whole store and even switching one side of the aisle to the other just to piss people off it's a decent store

Southridge Mall is deceptively ho-hum from the exterior…read more I had driven by this mall many times and in comparison with other area malls it's exterior looked painfully dated. Which, of course, led me to think the interior would be so as well. So, I really had no intention of ever stopping. But, then, ever on the hunt for awesome craft beer, I stumbled across the Explorium Brew Pub on Yelp. Local craft brewery inside a mall? Yes, indeed. Not only do they have some of the best craft brews in the Milwaukee metro, they serve some pretty legit pub grub as well. Then, I was in the area and my son needed an outfit for a school interview. With the incentive of post shopping bites at Explorium, we headed to Southridge and ended up have a lovely shopping experience. The interior of Southridge is surprisingly modern (in comparison with the exterior). The floor we were on was entirely carpeted with what appeared to be newer carpet. It also helped to keep the noise level lower than one finds at most malls. Mall shopping will never be my favorite thing. But, I'm glad to know Southridge is there for when I need it. And, that I'll be able to get a delicious craft beer after shopping. Get to it!

Food options are affordable and typical for a mall food court. The Icee's at the combination Mrs. Fields & TCBY are made perfectly, and I definitely wish I got a large size instead of a small. Service was great at the few stores I visited (Torrid, Rally House, Hot Topic, and Claire's). If you like shopping or even walking a mall, I highly recommend taking the trip to Southridge for your next spree!

Pumpkin Spice Cream Cheese Blondies: A good fudgy brownie is probably my favorite baked dessert,…read morebut if there is anything that can come close it's a blondie. I found these Marketside Pumpkin Blondies at Walmart. Each square is comprised of cream cheese filling sandwiched between two pumpkin-spiced blondies. Cream cheese icing and chocolate chips top off each blondie as well. First off, these blondies are super thick and fantastically chewy. The flavor was primarily pumpkin, very mild spice, with a touch of sweet cream cheese. I expected more flavor from the cream cheese as it is both on top and used as a filling, but the pumpkin flavor stole the show. Almost on-existent in terms of flavor were the chocolate chips. I didn't think the chocolate chips did much and if I might make a suggestion white chocolate chips would go better with pumpkin. I kind of felt like I was eating the puree part of a pumpkin pie (the best part), only much denser and with cream cheese. A pack of four will put you back $5 and 460 calories per square (so watch it or you might end up as round as a pumpkin). This is one of my favorite new pumpkin dessert finds this year. Doughboy approved *If you want to take it up a notch add some pumpkin flavored whipped cream like me *Rating based on food taste only (not service or location) Doughboy_Food_Reviews

The whole area around it is a shopping smorgasbord so it makes sense to have one here. I was confused when I parked because it didn't look like a modern super Walmart because it had one entry/exit door in the middle. It didn't look like a Walmart market either because it was too big for that but too small for a super. I watched Walmart close the small stores in favor of the super/market so what is this. As I walked in it looked like a smaller super Walmart with groceries, toys, clothes, automotive, electronics, dvds, video games, pets, home etc etc. I was able to find everything that I wanted and then some so I'm good with that. None of the restaurants, eye stores etc like the bigger ones and I didn't see a deli or hot table for take home cooked food. When it was time to check out it reminded me of Target with a small line of registers and 75% closed so pick the long line that might get you out faster while aholes cut in front of you with no shame at all because they didn't have a cart. I personally didn't like this Walmart since it seemed like the kind of store that they were trying get away from and it's not that old looking. I don't think that I would use this Walmart again when there is some better locations, yah I'm no fan of this store.
