He answered the phone when I called, had me text him so he had my number to communicate. Texted back quickly with a price, so that was known ahead of time, and he texted to reconfirm the night before pick up. Upon arriving on time (a bit early) he texted, then called when I did not answer. He drove a SUV, which was in good shape. It's not a chauffeur or luxury service. It's a taxi ride/driving service. I had no issues at all and would use him again. He does on demand calls too, but you may need to wait for availability for that. He has a couple other drivers, but probably busy at certain times/days. This company is good for local trips in Athens, Watkinsville, maybe Lawrenceville too. I recommend making a reservation, but it's not required and it's open 24/7. I did not find any other taxi companies in business. Most on the lists found online are no longer in existence. That would be fine if there were more than an occasional Paul try Uber or Lyft driver's, but there's no and you options are few. . There's two other "driver services" companies in Athens/Watkinsville, but they either do not do local trips anymore, and only do to and from airport - yvreservation, or just do local trips if they happen to not have all cars on airport trips. So this company is your seat bet for local trips and on demand trips. It's not cheap, but comparable to the driving service that sometimes does local trips. Law of supply and demand. There are few to no taxis in Athens. Almost no Ubers or Lyfts driving in my area (west end of Athens at Oconee border) anymore since the pandemic. I thought I'd use Uber until I saw none at all by me for several days. After much searching, I found these three driving services, but only this one is 24/7, on demand and reservation, and does mostly local trips. None have meters. They all tell you price ahead of time, although ask if they do not. I am grateful this service is still available (been in business 15 years) and thoughtfulness it was good.

They were my preferred provider by choice. About two months ago my best friend passed away and I needed to go to the funeral service . So I approached the driver Keisha about a round trip private pay and she stated she would have the owner call me. My Transportation trip was to go to East Athens / Lord and Stephen's which is 11 miles each way from my house . In stead of LaQuita the owner calling me,she had her driver call me at the last minute.She stated that the charge would be $225.00 for the trip. So I confronted the owner she told me" I can charge what I want to and I'm doing a service for you, you don't have to use my company" I reminded her that on a previous quote request to get a haircut and go about the same distance the quote was $80.00. At that point I was totally appalled at this outrageous price . And I informed her that if she didn't appreciate to the business I had given her I would find another company , which I did. Fast forward to today 2/17/2025 the broker Motivecare assigned several of my trips to LSH Affordable and she called and canceled them with the broker. I guess she is mad that I took my business elsewhere. Please beware of the rudeness that comes from working with her company , she is only out for money she had no compassion for her workers or her riders . Last year, I made the mistake of renting a car. What a mistake that was. I learned you don't need a rental car if you're staying in downtown Athens, and finding my way to the rental car return at the Atlanta airport was a nightmare. This year, I went with Bulldog Limousine. The drivers, both nice guys, were great, and both trips were effortless. For instance, on my return from Athens to the Atlanta airport, the driver knew just where to go and dropped me off right in front of the Delta check in area for my flight home. Every once in a while, one finds a company that does things right. Bulldog Limousine is one of them.

I called to voice my concern with management and they credited us the tip to the driver- $631 for a ride to Atlanta and back to Athens was exceedingly high for the level of car and service we received.
