The driver had to slam the door 5 or 6 times just to get it to stay closed. This was the door that my husband was sitting next to. When I spoke with the office they were rude and claimed their vehicles were cleaned daily and were in good condition.

We were told on Sat. that he could be discharged on Monday and we panicked. I needed to get my dad back to Florida where we both live. After reaching out to numerous NEMT companies and being told they were booked, I came across MMT on Sunday. Jack was very helpful and was able to get him on the schedule for Tuesday. The doctor held off discharging for one more day and made that work. The scariest part was, I had to leave 24 hours ahead of the transport to get home and get everything ready for my dads arrival. Leaving him there and driving 14 hours was terrifying. I had heard stories of other transport companies canceling at the last minute or just not showing up but everything went smoothly. The crew arrived early, got him loaded, got him comfortable on the stretcher and headed home. They took care of his medical needs, put movies in for him to watch and fed him. After being in ICU and having nurses and doctors tell what he could and could not do and when he could do it, my dad felt like he was in control of the ride, he said he did not feel like "cargo". That was probably the one thing my dad needed more than anything else, the feeling of having some kind of control even if it was small things. I hope I never have to use this type of service again but if I do, I will call MMT first.
