If you read my previous review of this company , then you will see this follow up …read more I used this Company thru Motivcare for a year giving them at least 8 round trips a month . They were my preferred provider by choice. About two months ago my best friend passed away and I needed to go to the funeral service . So I approached the driver Keisha about a round trip private pay and she stated she would have the owner call me. My Transportation trip was to go to East Athens / Lord and Stephen's which is 11 miles each way from my house . In stead of LaQuita the owner calling me,she had her driver call me at the last minute. She stated that the charge would be $225.00 for the trip. So I confronted the owner she told me" I can charge what I want to and I'm doing a service for you, you don't have to use my company" I reminded her that on a previous quote request to get a haircut and go about the same distance the quote was $80.00. At that point I was totally appalled at this outrageous price . And I informed her that if she didn't appreciate to the business I had given her I would find another company , which I did. Fast forward to today 2/17/2025 the broker Motivecare assigned several of my trips to LSH Affordable and she called and canceled them with the broker. I guess she is mad that I took my business elsewhere. Please beware of the rudeness that comes from working with her company , she is only out for money she had no compassion for her workers or her riders . Nor does she appreciate your business .I have found in my 60 years of life that a business owner with this attitude aren't in business very long. This is truly my opinion and you can take it with a grain or salt . I hope this helps some one make a decision not to get involved with this company.

We needed transportation on short notice, and I found Ameritrans through a Google search. I noticed they had an A+ rating with the BBB, but there weren't many reviews available online, so I wasn't sure what to expect. After speaking with another transportation company that raised some concerns for me, I decided to go with Ameritrans and I'm incredibly thankful I did. They explained that they typically book about a week in advance, but fortunately, they had a cancellation and were able to accommodate us. Blake and Danielle were the team who transported my dad, and they were absolutely amazing. They were kind, professional, and communicative throughout the entire trip. They arrived 30 minutes early, were always happy to answer our calls when we checked in on my dad, and got him safely to Houston in a reasonable amount of time. During an already stressful situation, having a transportation team we could trust made a huge difference. I would absolutely recommend Ameritrans to anyone needing long distance medical transportation. We are so grateful to Blake, Danielle, and the entire Ameritrans team for taking such great care of my dad.
