A very good friend of mines mother hired this company due to her shower drain not draining. They showed up had her sign paperwork for an inspection of what was wrong. They got her entire house floor wet from the hose which resulted in damaging her floors and took no blame in it. They jetted the stand up shower from the shower drain and not from the roof where it should of been done from or from her accesible clean out which resulted in them busting her shower drain pipe. They where there for close to 6 hrs didn't solve the problem caused more problems and charged her $480! When asked for a plumbers report it took 3 days to get it and in the end it was an invoice with what they think should be done..... not a plumbers report at all!!! Do not hire this company do your research before calling a company. And if your elderly or a female in general be carful as companies like this will rip you off because they don't think you know anything! This company should be ashamed of themselves read more

I live in a condo on the second floor and Saturday my toilet clogged up. I tried a plunger, liquid plumber, nothing. I called Mega Rooter the following morning and Jesus showed up within a hour. Curious, respectful, followed COVID19 precautions and wore booties. After about 20 minutes with the giant snake, he unclogged my toilet! He pulled out a rock about this of a half dollar. I advise getting a quote in writing before the start of work. Do not pay until you receive a written invoice. Their business practices are shady as hell and the professional plumbing work is questionable. After showing up hours later than promised, the plumber could not get his snake working and said he would come back the next day at 8am. He showed up the next day after 1pm, with no phone call. Calls to the business number were answered with a sleeping-sounding, "Yeah?". He seemed to clear our blocked drain on the second try. He asked for a check. We asked for an invoice and were assured it would be sent electronically to our email address. Big mistake! Noticed the leaking under the sink hours later, as well as a leaking reverse osmosis system. We fixed the leaking RO system ourselves. It seems the plumber had damaged the tubing when moving the system around to access the pipes under the sink. He did not use plumbers' tape to put the drain pipes back together, saying it was unnecessary to use on our newer pipes. He came back for a third time and seems to have cleared the drain, but we are waiting to see if it really worked. So far, no leaks. We are concerned that he did not use a clean out access we have outside, but rather tried to clear the drain from inside. They promised a camera scope and hydro jet, but then said the camera was unnecessary. We asked why we had paid for the camera service when it was not done. We put a stop payment on the first check and asked for an invoice in writing. Finally got an invoice weeks later for over $100 more than the original check we wrote. Then they offered a discount off that inflated rate which was still more than the owner quoted over the phone. I emailed back asking for a detailed explanation of the charges. The invoice just says, "Hydro jetting -Hydro Scrub Low Press 1200psi, 2-hour minimum." Over $850 for a blocked kitchen drain? Caveat Emptor! read more

When Frank from Mega Rooter showed up to do a re-route suggested by a previous plumber, he looked at the job and then we talked for 15 or 20 minutes about why the procedure was a waste of time and money. We had a slow drain in our guest bathtub since we bought our house almost 3 years ago. Well, it finally stop draining all together. Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with this plumbing company. The tech was very nice but came to the house at noon, looked at our kitchen sink clog and stated he ran a 12 ft snake and it wouldn't clear the pipe. He stated the pipe would definitely need jetting. He quoted me $1300. I said wow for just a kitchen pipe? All of our other sinks and drains are fine. He then said he can offer 15% off. Mind you all of our other sinks were fine and it was just the kitchen sink. So a quoted $76 clogged drain turned into an over $1000 job. My husband and I were skeptical but the tech said he would talk to his boss Luis to negotiate price. While doing this he left our house and he didn't properly close the clean out and it flooded our kitchen. I call the office and tell them and they tell us to turn the water off and the tech will call me. He does call and he apologizes says he's at another job and still hasn't talked to his boss. My husband was pissed and decided he would start making calls and find someone else. He does find someone else and hires them. At this point I made Luis aware of what happened and he had no idea about any of this. I call the tech and tell him not to come back we hired someone else. He ends up coming to our house anyway and offers to jet the drain for a quarter of the price with a lower pressure. This annoyed my husband and I even more considering he could have offered that in the first place and he flooded my kitchen. Just an overall terrible experience. Ultimately we had a great guy come to the house with different company did a phenomenal job and was extremely nice and well priced. read more

Unbelievable! James was able to come out to give a quote in about two hours after I first called. He was able to hydro jet all my lines about 4 days later. (It would have been earlier if I could get off work!) he was very efficient, showed up ready to go on time, and flexible with my schedule. Had a very serious kitchen drain clog at my house, caused by huge buildup in the pipes. At the beginning, Alvarez came to inspect the issue. He is a very funny and caring professional, who explained exactly what he was going to do to fix the issue. I felt very assured from the very beginning. He ran a small snake through the pipes, but it didn't clear the pipe. Then, he brought in a larger 40 foot snake, but the pipes still wouldn't clear: which showed how bad the clog was! Then, Alvarez asked his manager, Luis, to stop by and take a look at the issue. They ran a camera snake and saw that there clearly was a buildup in the pipe, because water was seen stuck in the pipe through the camera. So, they suggested that a jet pressure was the next feasible solution. I approved the jet pressure, and they got to work right away to add a jet pressure hose into the pipe. After applying around 4000 PSI into the pipes and further inspection of the pipes through the camera snake, the gunk was finally removed! The pipe was cleared, and Alvarez even tested the drain multiple times to make sure that the drain was clear. It was a relief! From the small details such as wearing shoe socks and even adding shoe socks to their large snake equipment, and wiping down the sink very cleanly and pristinely, to explaining the whole process of what they were going to do and the costs, Alvarez and Luiz provided superb customer service, and I will call them in an instant for any future plumbing issues. They worked from 11:30 AM all the way to 3:30 PM, and they were committed to finishing the job and never overcharged. They are hardworking, caring, and very professional. For any plumbing issues, don't hesitate to call them up and you will be treated to excellent service, wonderful prices, and solid professionalism that you can't find often. read more

We have a main line leak and had called Roto Rooter who was supposed to come out 2 days ago, never showed up, promised us the next day, never showed. Mega Rooter did a great job replacing an old cast iron pipe that my washing machine was attached to. Pipe was under sized under the house and kept clogging up. We're very happy with our experience with these guys. The kitchen sink blocked up, on a Saturday, of course, and they arrived within a couple of hours. They had a partial fix that day but warned us that our 70-year old cast iron drains were in terminal condition and would need major intervention. They came back Monday and spent about five days on the job, even working through Tkaanksgiving day. The cost was high but, I think, appropriate for the size of the job. read more

Called yesterday and spoke to someone, I was told it would be a free estimate to see the cause of the leak. However, when the inspector came out, he said that a leak detection is $150, he would only open the water to see where the leak is coming from. I told him I was told it was a free estimate, declined the request. What bothered me the most is his attitude towards when he was leaving, he sarcastically said "yeah this is the hardest job of the day" with a huge attitude. Even if I was thinking to call back and use the company, guess what? Not again at all. Really bad attitudes given out there. I have previously lost other jobs, I wouldn't just go out there and give out attitudes to people. read more

Miguel stopped by and replaced two angle stops and two toilets for me and did a great job! He was really helpful and went out of his way to make sure the job was done well. This is my go-to company since they first rescued me from a plumbing emergency ona Sunday night where Luis and his tiger team had to get on the roof of my condominum building to shut off the hot water. They dealt with rusted pipes that wouldn't allow the water to be shut off and even installed a valve for me to control it from my condo. I love these guys.
