Quick Plumbing makes an effort to do things right. I had an issue with one of their plumbers surprising me with an unexpected bill beyond work in the original quote and leaving me with only hot running water in bathroom faucet. When I adamantly complained and refused to pay this new bill, they sent out another plumber, Adam. Adam was great and saved the day! He was very conscientious and reassuring. He was able to fix the sink and they ended up waiving the initial extra charge the other plumber had surprised me with for $445. I also erroneously thought they had already over charged my original quote, due to items referenced on the both the original quote and receipt, coupled with my laypersons understanding of plumbing terminology. Jaime reached out about this and actually came by my place to review the original quote and receipt, where upon I realized it was my mistake. My suggestion is to request for Jaime and/or Adam if you call Quick Plumbing. Despite my frustration with the other Quick Plumbing plumber and the misunderstanding regarding the balance, Adam and Jaime provided excellent customer service in fixing the issue and restoring my faith in Quick Plumbing. Can we talk about amazing? Jaime was the nicest, most patient, detail oriented, respectful person I've ever met. It's one thing to get things done, a complete different to get things done with the best quality, and disposition. He did an amazing job on a house that hadn't had maintenance for years (around 5-6). I LOVE LOVE LOVE this company! Jaime is the best! He has done quite a few jobs in our cul-de-sac. There are only 6 houses here, and I think he has done work on 5 that I know of. He has come to our rescue at least 3 times, and every time was an emergency: flood and broken pipe, leaking pipe with cracked foundation, and a sink back-up. Due to the ages of our houses, built in 1958, there have been a lot of broken main pipes and he has fixed them all! I have used Quick plumbing several times and have always been happy with their service. However this last time my kitchen sink was backing up. They came out and fixed the problem, but now my garbage disposal and dishwasher doesn't work. Everything else on the breaker is fine. They have told me to call an electrician that it isn't their problem. Funny both things worked before you came out, now they don't. The least you could do is have someone come out and look and then offer to get me an electrician because of something you did. The plumber ran the garbage disposal for over 15 minutes so I thought perhaps it got burnt out but now that I know my dishwasher doesn't work I think it is a much bigger problem read more

Needed to have a drain snaked and at 4:50 pm, I called Quick Plumbing & Drain after finding them on yelp.com. I was pleasantly surprised when Jaime said he'd have a tech at my house "within 45 minutes to an hour"; thought I'd get an appointment for the next day. Jaime's time frame would put the tech's expected arrival time between around 5:45 to 6:00 pm. At 6:38 pm, with no sign of a tech, Jaime finally called to tell me the tech was "only 10 minutes away." I said "excellent!" and continued to wait. It's now 7:02 pm (25 minutes later) and I call Jaime back to let him know that the tech had still not yet arrived. This time Jaime said he'd only called me "15 minutes ago" and that the tech was "right outside, he's looking for your address." Mind you, with my first call, I'd given Jaime my full address (spelled out), the two nearest cross streets (as well as telling him the one I was closer to), and even described to him what the building looked like and it's color. When I told Jaime that I was not happy about the delays, he just continued to say, "he's right outside, he's right outside." I told Jaime that I needed to cancel the service because "if I can't trust your word, I certainly can't trust your company." He was still saying "he's right outside" and I had to literally yell over him to get him to hear that I wanted him to cancel the tech. It's interesting to note that only the one (1) positive review is considered in this company's rating, and the three (3) negative reviews have been filtered out. Don't think Yelp's "filter" is working for the consumer. read more

They replaced the water heater, 2 toilets, fixed a leaky shower, solved a mysterious mixing valve problem, and installed an electric bidet. I gave it 2 stars based on pricing not performance. They were very Quick to respond to my call and come out to my home for my garbage disposal repair. The technician was very professional, polite and did good work. I give it 2 stars for pricing. I know nothing about garbage disposal replacement and repair. The original quote was "380 but I can give you a discount to 340" I asked, if I go buy my own part at Home Depot, because I get a military discount, how much would installation be? I was told by the technician that Home Depot does not carry this commercial grade garbage disposal. I looked at Home Depot's website on my phone and saw what "commercial grade disposals" cost from another brand and decided that the few extra dollars would be worth it since he was already in my home. I agreed, but once installed I googled the new garbage disposal he installed and found at that Home Depot does in fact carry it, for much less. In the end I negotiated down to 300, so I was basically over charged $100. My fault and lesson learned, but If I had not been even remotely proactive as I was, I would've been over charged $180. I needed to have a common repair made to my faucet. I assumed that since it wasn't a terribly old fixture, they'd have the part on their truck. Wrong. They had to leave my home to go to the local hardware store to purchase the part. Approximately 45 minutes to an hour later, they returned with the part. In the end, it appears I was charged not only for the time they worked on my faucet, but also for their time to purchase the part. I was never quoted a price for the service call, even though I was reassured they'd provide the quote before doing any work during my call to make the appointment. I needed the repair done, and the faucet now works properly...that is the one positive. Next time I'll ask if the plumber would be carrying commonly used parts on his truck and how I'd be charged if he had to leave and go to the hardware store. read more
