They showed up, were very professional, seemed to work efficiently, and fixed the issue AND another issue we hadn't even seen. Mr. Joyce provided photographs of the issues in the attic so we could see exactly what was wrong and needed to be fixed. He even recommend some other preventative maintenance items, and let us know they were easy and we could do it ourselves - but he would happily do it if we didn't want to. I just returned from vacation, went to water my yard, had a hose on my tree out front slowly watering it and I went to water the backyard.. And there was the worst banging throughout my entire house everywhere so loud, I shut the water off to the entire house. I phoned this person up, a plumbing company open 7 days a week 24 hours a day.. I called John on a Saturday in the middle of the day, and he said are you sure there's nothing running I said there's nothing running. And so he said I'm getting my truck I will be right there 15 minutes. And I realized I had left the hose on a slow drip to the front yard tree. I said oh my goodness I ran shut the hose off the hose bib turn back on my water to the house. . And the entire rattling was gone all was quiet. I had a bad hose bib. I called him back very quickly, I told him everything was good my water was back on - I'm so sorry if he was headed to get his truck since he was at home. He is the owner, his name is John, and he is absolutely amazing. He is now my plumber if anything goes wrong in my house. He told me no worries, he was glad everything was okay he'd be happy to fix my hose bib today if I chose, or Monday if that worked better. And it possibly could have reseated itself and the problem actually might have corrected itself. What a truly professional and honest man and business this is. Disappointed. We used Joyce for several years in our la mesa home and were always pleased. Recently we even recommended Joyce to the new owners of that home. We moved to mission hills and had him out to look at a couple of concerns. There was a repair that needed to be done in near future. The quote was never received but we kept getting emails for Sheldon's cafe (receipts and quotes). We never got our estimate-when I messaged to tell him, he asked to call him. I didn't have time that day and I let it go figuring we would eventually get to it when we were ready to do the work (non urgent). I messaged him today for an urgent matter with a bit of background on the problem and to see if he was available. Response was simply "I am not". We have other bathrooms, had he responded "I'm not available today but......" we may have waited for him or at least planned to keep as our main plumber. 5 star work, poor communication. read more

No problem having someone come Monday to avoid weekend fees. Plumber called in the morning to discuss garbage disposal options and gave me the pros and cons. I chose a middle price option. Plumber showed up on time and looked at the sink for ten minutes. I didn't need a new disposal and he just tightened everything up.
