So friendly, knowledgeable, hard working and efficient. You'll get much better service and care here. I got great advice about actually buying a cheaper product to satisfy my needs and what I need to realistically invest in. Saved a bunch of money while doing home improvement. And they helped bring all the materials out to my car parked a half block away. Parking: they have a paid public lot behind them but plenty of free street parking on side streets behind them or you can try metered parking in front but not as easy to get a space. Safety: masks required, social distancing abided by. It was truly a pleasure shopping here and encourage others to buy from small businesses!

Conceptualizing, planning, designing, renovating, decorating, & witnessing the transformation of a…read morespace from start to finish can be an exciting & rewarding journey. One of the many stops along the way is deciding which paint would best fit your space. Taking not only basic colour, but also the quality, texture, weight, undertone, toxicity, sheen, & hue under consideration, paint can influence the entire mood and feeling of any given space. As I researched various brands of paint for my renovation & remodeling project, I came across "Farrow & Ball." Originating in the U.K. with only sixty-three (63) showrooms globally, this unique brand features only 132 colours (some rotating). Averaging at $125 per gallon, their eco-friendly paint products can be pricey, but it's arguably one of the highest quality, richly pigmented, smoothest, creamiest, nearly odor-free paints available. Located on busy La Cienega Boulevard, the flagship "Farrow & Ball" showroom in West Hollywood is the only location in the U.S. that features all 132 colour blocks. With its eye-catching exterior gleaming with colourful vertical stripes, the interior of the showroom boasts of unique art sculptures featuring all of the F&B colours, a library upstairs, & a breezy rooftop patio capable of hosting events al-fresco. One cannot help but notice that this high-end showroom has more of a museum-feel than your average paint store. Not to be outdone, the level of service provided matches the high-end feel of the showroom, with friendly, helpful, & knowledgeable associates who very patient, & can help guide you as you discover which paint(s) may best fit your individual needs as you transform your space. If you're still undecided regarding which colour(s) to choose --- whether it's "Dead Salmon," "Elephant's Breath," "Arsenic" or one of the many other uniquely-named "Farrow & Ball" products, sample pots are readily available for purchase at $8 each. I won't even mention how many sample pots I've purchased & put on the wall so far. Stay tuned.... ;)

A day or two later I had to go back for an additional 5 gallons - no big deal right? I go up to the front and order 5 gallons of the Regal grade paint in the color that I wanted. Guy says ok and walks away. I'm taking care of stuff on my phone and another guy comes and takes my payment. Before I know it they are rolling out my mixed paint.... in the WRONG finish. I hesitate and say that I needed it in Matte as I did before. They never asked me the finish. The guy said he remembered what I got the day before and that I was wrong so I call my handyman and have him confirm that what we had was matte, and it was. THEN the guy changes his story and said they did ask me and I asked for eggshell - which is laughable because even in a distracted state I would NEVERRRRRRR say eggshell. At this point he's arguing and gaslighting me so I take a moment and think, ok, let's dial this back and ask if there is something we can work out. I understand this is a business and regardless of who is at fault (him) maybe we could work something out. But he doubles down and his voice is raised and shaking and saying that I asked for eggshell. At this point I know he is lying because, to reiterate: A) they never asked B) I would NEVER get eggshell for this project and C) he is trembling with rage and honestly - that tells me all I need to know. So is this a scam they run to get people to pay for stuff? What else could it be? I left the paint there and went to another store and guess what? They asked what finish I wanted. I told them what happened and even they said woah... someone there fucked up. I want to make it clear that I left because I was robbed and felt unsafe from the lunatic lying through is ever loving teeth. That's over $300 down the drain because someone failed to do their job correctly and then had the audacity to try to pin it on me. Don't spend your money there because you will regret it.
