Just started getting my nails done here since I recently moved to the area. The ladies are nice and do an amazing job...and I'm pretty picky since I used to do nails. Plenty of color options including powder options. My god daughter and her mom make a special trip to come out this way just to get their nails done. Thank goodness I found this spot . They accept Cash, Venmo or Zelle. Cash tip appreciated. Brought my god daughter for her prom nails...she absolutely loves them read more

Han doesn't disappoint!! She takes such good care of my nails. Literally the only place that I've been too that'll do an amazing job that my set can last up to 30 days (I didn't have time to come in for a fill, which resulted in me getting a new set today). I have been coming here for YEARS and recommend this place to EVERYONE. The quality of their work is unmatched, but I'm honestly so pissed after todays service. I want so badly to give them 5 stars because they are really that good but the new lady I went to charged me $35 for a plain manicure with NO polish. I wanted to take a break from dip powder since I am going to be having my baby soon so decided to just remove everything from the 4 nails that had any dip powder left on it (I removed majority of it myself and clipped my nails prior to coming in). Really I would have just left them but since I was already in for my pedicure I decided to just have them do the rest for me. You would think the service would cost no more than $20 IF that. It should have been $10-$15. When I questioned the price she told me she gave me a discount because she had to remove the dip powder. I just don't understand how this cost $35 and my pedicure cost $38?! I paid for the service but I really should not have paid that much. See picture for reference. read more

Roy exceeded my expectations today, and now I never want anyone else doing my acrylic nails anymore after discovering his amazing work. My appointment today was at 1:30PM and he took me in 10 minutes early. I was pretty worried about time because I had to leave to a different appointment at 3PM, but wow I was so impressed because he finished my set within like an hour!! I didn't even tell him I had limited time, he just works so fast and efficiently. He removed my old set from a different nail tech super fast without any pain and still completed a new set quickly. Roy's shaping is EVERYTHING! I'm extremely picky about my nails and I have pretty high standards, but trust me, he knows what's he's doing. Roy's work is literally flawless. He's super focused and meticulous, but does not waste any time. 5 star work! read more

My friend and I wanted to try a nearby nail salon and loved the experience! I got the pink gel set ($65) and my friend got the acrylic blue set ($70)! I was paired with Hung and loved her design on my nails, especially the flowers! My friend was paired with Lily, who also drew crafted 3D flowers! We made an appointment over the phone a few days in advance and was seated super quickly. There were also several people doing pedicures so I will try that next time! Thanks Hung & Lily! read more

I came here after work because it's close by. I paid $115 for a gel pedicure and full set. To begin, the massage chair barely worked. I was like whatever no biggie. Then my pedicure, she did pretty good but completely skipped the massage and my polish is uneven. Like it needed another coat of polish. Then on to my full set. The polish was better however just 8 days after getting my nails done, every nail is lifting and one even has come all the way off as shown in the video. I don't think i will be back. I paid my fair price for below average service. It's actually ridiculous. read more

Don't go here if you don't have to. The technicians vary a lot in their skills - my technician did not know what she was doing, at all. I've been getting acrylic full sets for the past three years in the San Mateo area. My family recently moved to San Jose and I decided to give Mega Nails a try since it was close to my new home. YIKES - waited for 30 minutes after being told it would be a less than 10 minute wait - technician was using drippy powder that would roll down my nails and literally drip drip drip on the towel.... :o - the nails dried bumpy - uneven lines on the cuticle base - no apex, nails were flat - when I asked her to fix the shape, she started mumbling in Vietnamese then gave me sassy attitude in English "you WAIT, I file! (Deep breath, shake head) I am never going back....I wasted $51 + tip for a bad mood and nails that made me angry/stressed every time I took a close look at them. read more

I went here one last time and they took so long to remove my acrylics. If you're having that much trouble just use acetone already! They eventually did but my fingers weren't happy. One thing I noticed after coming here so many times, is the cuticle area never gets shaved down. So when your acrylic grows out you can see this really thick bump. I always forget to ask them to do this but you really shouldn't need to ask. Needless to say I won't be coming back. It's good for the price and after 10 visits you get a free pedicure, but I saw a difference in service and quality at other places. If you do manage to end up here, make sure to be really attentive of your nails and how you like them, and plan ahead of time because you might need to wait despite having an appointment. read more

Today was my first time going to Mega Nails. I wanted to get my nails done for prom! I made an appointment yesterday through yelp at 11am for today. The owner was nice and gave me a quote on how much the set I wanted would be. If you guys are wondering how much my set was, it was $58 plus $7 tip so $65 total! This nail salon is located in a old plaza, it kinda looks shady but don't let it fool you! When I walked in, there were 3 ladies there. All of them were nice but I heard them talking in vietnamese about how I spoke English. I understand some vietnamese but what's wrong with me speaking English.... Anyways, the lady who did my nails (i didnt get her name) did a very great job on the designs and the shape was super good. However at the end, there was still glue and leftover polish on my cuticles. Kind of disappointed. Also in the process, she told me to go wash my hands in the middle of doing my nails twice. I thought that was interesting because no other nail place has ever asked me that. -minus 1 star for not cleaning up my cuticles.... read more

Got our nails done here and they turned out beautiful !! the red set was 55, the left one was 50 and then the top right was 65. very good pricing and good salon. despite the little conflict in the beginning everything turned out well and they were still nice. even forgot my charger and the girl let me in to get it. thank you also to the one who did my nails you did very good job and same with the person who did the design i love them a lot thank you so much read more

i would recommend getting your nails done with trinh or lyly if you want a complicated design. they are so talented and nice. they always ask if i like a color and are willing to change and redo stuff if i'm not satisfied. i always come in when they open so there's no wait time. the price is very reasonable and cheaper than most places i've been to. i would definitely recommend coming here :D read more

I've gotten just one pedi overall. It was such a relaxing experience. Nice aroma, scrub down & lotion. Can't wait to do it again during the summer when the sun comes out. I HIGHLY recommend Lily. They are always very friendly and accommodating for a walk-in appointment. The salon is hygienic and clean. They also have a very nice selection of gel polish colors, especially cateye colors. I recently had an ingrown toenail (my first ever in 33 years) after my latest visit but the owner was quick to help communicate this with the nail tech doing my pedicure so it doesn't happen again. This made me feel very understood and respected as a regular customer here. The owner also tries to remember the regulars at the salon and always offer a warm welcoming, which is very nice of her. They offer a discount for cash payments, but also accept Venmo (even for tips) while credit card has a small charge. I think their prices are very reasonable and definitely cheaper than the last salon I went to before switching to Pedi Nail Lounge. There is a large shared parking lot in front so plenty of parking nearby. I also like that there is a coffee shop (Blvd coffee), food spot (Chispiro's) and Lucky Grocery store right next door that makes the location extremely convenient for me. 5/5 , definitely recommend if you're looking for a new nail salon
