I got their specialty iced latte. It took a ehile to be made, as she was busy with other people's ice cream orders. It actually tastes really good. Not excessively sweet. Just the right balance of sweetness and flavor. Definitely refreshing on such a hot day. We also got some of their ice creams. Its nice they let us taste them before ordering. Cuz not all places are like that anymore... their ice creams also tasted pretty good. Nice amount of sugar and flavor and creaminess. I love how this place have all these random signs hanging up. They were all unique. Extremely funny and relatable!! Some seating area inside. Our group of 12 basically took them all. But theres also about 2 tables outside as well. Solid ice cream shop. Wish they had more choices. Coffee drinks do take some time to be made. But wverything we had here was good!!

We usually stop by Sip & Scoop whenever we're in Brentwood, and we've noticed it has changed a lot…read moreover time. The place looks really nice now--such a pleasant spot to sit, enjoy your treats, and relax, especially with kids. The ice cream is always delicious, and we absolutely love their affogato. I was also amazed that they go by cups--we got a lot for the large cups, which felt like great value! I did want to share a small piece of feedback about our recent visit. In the past, water was available in small jars, but now it's set up in a larger dispenser. After ordering ice cream, we went to grab some water, but it had run out. I let the staff member in front know, and she kindly explained that they were out, which I completely understood. However, another staff member suddenly commented that there was no water and that if I wanted some, I should buy and pay for it. It was a bit surprising--not because of the policy, but because of the tone, which came across as a bit harsh. Maybe she was just having a bad day, which I can understand, but the delivery didn't feel very welcoming. I want to emphasize that I have no issue paying for water at all; in fact, I planned to go back to the car after ice cream to get water since we parked nearby. It was just the way it was said that didn't sit well. I didn't say anything at the moment since I understand everyone can have off days, but I do think consistency in how customers are spoken to is important--others might not take that tone as lightly. When I sat down, another staff member came over and offered my family water. If you happen to read this--thank you. Your kindness really meant a lot to us. Overall, we still enjoy coming here for the great ice cream, generous portions, and the cozy atmosphere. Sharing this as feedback because we enjoy this place and would love to keep having great experiences here.

I said out loud because I was sitting outside that if she got her order already that means ours should have already been done. I took it from her when she handed it to me. We were going to wait another longer time just because the employee gave it to the wrong customer first. PLEASE take names for the order please!! They called out the item, if that, then please notice who ordered FIRST of same item. I would have been mad if we had to wait, my star rating would be 2...besides that the bubble waffle Nutella works was good Small location but spacious with seating inside and out. It's available in various independent ice cream shops across the country, with a list on their website. Cool Spot in Brentwood is a purveyor of this ice cream - so we had to stop by and try it out! This place was a find - 23 different super premium ice cream flavors! We were struck dumb and just stared at all the choices; how to make up our minds? Finally, my wife chose the Vanilla Bean and Yippee Skippee. I had Cappuccino Break, also with the Yippee Skippee. Yippee Skippee was delicious, a unique combination of peanut butter ice cream with salted caramel, brownies and chocolate covered pretzels. Also surprising was my wife's Vanilla Bean, a rich, flavorful vanilla - not the boring vanilla ice cream we have had in the past. Cool Spot has a good amount of shared parking, and ample seating inside. They also serve coffee, hot chocolate, slushies and make fresh cookies right there. The cookies were baking and smelled divine but alas weren't ready yet by the time we had to go. Next time we'll have to try them as well.

We tried the salmon with a creamy caper sauce and the steak with grilled onions, both served with fresh vegetables. The salmon was nicely cooked and flavorful, and the steak had a great char and was tender. The cheesy potato side was definitely comfort food, creamy, rich, and probably my favorite side of the meal. Everything tasted fresh and filling, and we left satisfied. Overall, a solid dining experience with good food and generous portions. There were a few small things that kept it from being a full 5 stars, like the cleanliness of the outdoor area, the menus and table was sticky, and a few bug zappers for flies), but I'd definitely come back and try more of the menu.

The top three things that were bad about this restaurant: 1…read more I ate (scratch that as they never brought me my food). I mean, I went to this restaurant with a large party and they never brought me my food. Hence, no pictures to share. The waitress came out to ask if everything was okay (after everyone was just about done), looked right at me and asked if anyone else needed anything. Of course, I said "my food please". The staff never noticed they didn't complete the order. There was no attempt by the staff, or the manager, to check on my food. They literally just admitted they forgot it and had a very "oh well" attitude. My expectation would have been that they saw how large our bill was (a large party with many alcoholic beverages consumed) and they would have done something to expedite my order. Nada. 2. They kept bringing out dishes and drinks that no one ordered, and I GUARANTEE that they snuck these on the bill whether or not the staff left them at our table. For example, they brought at least one drink no one ordered, and they brought chips and salsa that no one ordered. Additionally, they brought a burger, that no one ordered and no one claimed, so they took it back, probably threw it out, but I GUARANTEE they snuck it on the bill. This to me seems very unethical, but I guess the manager told them what to do to keep the doors open. Watch out for this if you are with a large party. 3. We had a large party and ordered lots of food and drinks, and I know the people that I'm with are big tippers so the staff was very well compensated despite carrying out a less than an average job. It's a very unfortunate situation for me as I suffered and they profited due to high tips and bringing out extra food that no one ordered. Also, it's hard for me to have sympathy as I saw that they were NOT using paper and pencil to take orders, rather, they had digital handheld POS systems and I witnessed the waitress type in my order (specifically). That order should have gone directly to the kitchen, and I'm sure the POS system put it on the bill and it wasn't removed. Alas, I did not see the bill, so I will never have confirmation. Finally, I asked them if they took my meal off the bill, and they said they did, but because of the above mistakes, I highly doubt they deducted my meal and they extorted an additional $25 out of my group.

Service: Has 1 kiosk you can order from. 2 workers in the back and we did have to wait about 20mins to get 2 drinks. Drinks: Tiger crème brûlée - Very sweet at 100% but the drink was so creamy and tasty. Also has pudding inside but I'd recommend getting extra if you're a fan of it. Green milk tea - 75% sweetness was just enough. Pretty sure powder form of the tea was used in this drink because it tasted watered down and there wasn't enough tea flavor. Boba in this was cooked very well and flavorful. Pandan waffle - Size of the waffle was pretty big comparing to the ones from Happy Lemon and Quickly. Taste was good too. Overall, I would recommend and keep coming back.

What a great find!…read more We were craving Bahn Mi and weren't sure where to get "good" Bahn Mi. Thanks to Yelp, we found this place. First, it's a local business, so it's a great way to support local business owners. Second, the workers (probably owners) were very friendly. They made some suggestions, and we're very happy about the choices we made. My wife ordered the Beef Brisket, and I ordered the BBQ Pork (Braised with Honey). They were both cooked perfectly. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the bread was crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside (toasted). The veggies daikon, carrots, etc. were great. I love cilantro, so next time I will order "extra cilantro." We also ordered the Mango Sago, which had Tapioca pearls (you can add other toppings). It was absolutely wonderful! It's in a shopping area, so parking is plentiful. There was plenty of seating, and the place was clean and welcoming! The price was on the expensive side, but again, it's a local business, and it was worth it. We spent about $40 (including 2 waters and a tip). 100% recommend!
