I mean, I went to this restaurant with a large party and they never brought me my food. Hence, no pictures to share. The waitress came out to ask if everything was okay (after everyone was just about done), looked right at me and asked if anyone else needed anything. Of course, I said "my food please". The staff never noticed they didn't complete the order. There was no attempt by the staff, or the manager, to check on my food. They literally just admitted they forgot it and had a very "oh well" attitude. My expectation would have been that they saw how large our bill was (a large party with many alcoholic beverages consumed) and they would have done something to expedite my order. Nada. 2. They kept bringing out dishes and drinks that no one ordered, and I GUARANTEE that they snuck these on the bill whether or not the staff left them at our table. For example, they brought at least one drink no one ordered, and they brought chips and salsa that no one ordered. Additionally, they brought a burger, that no one ordered and no one claimed, so they took it back, probably threw it out, but I GUARANTEE they snuck it on the bill. This to me seems very unethical, but I guess the manager told them what to do to keep the doors open. Watch out for this if you are with a large party. 3. We had a large party and ordered lots of food and drinks, and I know the people that I'm with are big tippers so the staff was very well compensated despite carrying out a less than an average job. It's a very unfortunate situation for me as I suffered and they profited due to high tips and bringing out extra food that no one ordered. Also, it's hard for me to have sympathy as I saw that they were NOT using paper and pencil to take orders, rather, they had digital handheld POS systems and I witnessed the waitress type in my order (specifically). That order should have gone directly to the kitchen, and I'm sure the POS system put it on the bill and it wasn't removed. Alas, I did not see the bill, so I will never have confirmation. Finally, I asked them if they took my meal off the bill, and they said they did, but because of the above mistakes, I highly doubt they deducted my meal and they extorted an additional $25 out of my group.

It's my favorite breakfast place and my go-to spot whenever I want to bring my family visiting from out of state or another country. I love sharing this beautiful experience with them! The pancakes are my absolute favorite, and the fresh coffee is the perfect way to start the day. Every breakfast option is phenomenal, and the food never disappoints. The service is wonderful, and the lake view makes the entire experience even more special. Great food, amazing service, and a beautiful view what more could you ask for? I had the French Toast breakfast which comes with an egg and your breakfast meat I had beacon I love that they put just a touch of cinnamon in the egg wash for the French Toast huge fan of that recipe feels like how mom made it when I was little. It did not take long to be seated and our server was patient and letting us take time to decide what we wanted to eat with rushing us. We will be back again.

At that point, we were left there for 20 minutes with no follow up to take our food order. We saw our server and the others bring single plates of food back and forth several times to other tables. 2 servers (one of which was ours) walked right by our table which still had menus to indicate hadn't ordered, but didn't acknowledge us. We then saw our server stand in the doorway between indoor/outdoor seating and survey the dining area for a minute. Still, she didn't come back to our table and walked back inside. We got tired of waiting and went to the bar to pay for the drinks we received. While paying/explaining to the bartender why we were leaving, our server came up and asked if we were ready to order as if there were no issue. We explained we were leaving after waiting for so long, which she blankly apologized for and quickly walked away. After reading the great Yelp reviews, we decided to give this place a try, and we are so glad we did! We arrived shortly before 1:00, knowing they closed at 2:00, and were greeted with such friendly, welcoming service. The staff was wonderful, attentive, and genuinely kind. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were very generous! The restaurant has that charming, old-school café feel, complete with a traditional counter seating area and a separate dining room. Nothing fancy, just great food, friendly faces, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. But what really made our visit unforgettable was something completely unexpected. We struck up a conversation with a lovely couple sitting behind us and mentioned that we were new to Brentwood. When we went to pay our bill, we discovered they had already paid for our meal! We were completely surprised and so touched by their kindness. We heard they're regular Sunday visitors, and we hope to cross paths again so we can thank them personally. In the meantime, we will definitely be paying that kindness forward! What started as a simple Sunday breakfast turned into such a heartwarming experience.
