Service was fast, but we were the only folks there at the time. No inside tables, but there were two tables and a bench outside overlooking Main Street. The first time I tried a mangonada, I was in college and I thought it was the greatest thing ever. When I found out Guanatos opened near my home and that they served mangonadas, I knew it was only a matter of time until I got to fulfill my craving once more. Their mangonadas are called chamoyadas which consist of frozen mangos, syrup, chile sauce and a chile tamarind covered straw, and mango ice cream. I came here on a weekend afternoon and bought 6 for my family to try. They have a large variety of ice cream flavors from maiz to tequila. They also serve pop bars and specialty fruit and creme "drinks" This Guanatos location is huge! It's a comfy space, especially if lines get long - and during the time I came, there were quite a few people in the store. They also have patio seating, but it's Oakley...and I honestly wouldn't prefer to sit in the heat. I'm just really grateful I have one 10 minutes away. read more

In this photo we have the bionico and the chamoyada. The bionico came out really good, had lots of fruits except the strawberries were really big. I just wish it was cut more into pieces. Overall it was a great buy especially in this hot weather that we are having. The chamoyada wasn't well mixed. Most of the sauce was at the bottom and not all around the ice cream.
