I like their service and prices. I started going there after paying almost double at another dry cleaner.

I had a zipper replaced in a pair of shorts and paid about $17 for the repair. When I tried on the shorts, the zipper worked fine, but there were a few stitches just below the zipper that were missing, leaving a small hole. When I pointed out the issue, the woman who did the repair said that she worked only on the zipper, not the seam just below it. She offered to fix the small hole for an additional $9.50! I couldn't believe it. I wasn't aware of any hole in the shorts when I dropped them off. Even if there was a hole, it was in the same area she was working and would've taken only a couple stitches to fix it. Instead, she knowingly left the stitches undone, and didn't mention the hole. So, I had to make a trip back to the cleaners, only to have her ask for an extra $9.50 to fix the issue. Even if she was technically correct, and I don't know whether she was, I think it was a missed opportunity to do the right thing for the customer. We've used Mega cleaners for the last 10 years, without incident, but I'll have to think long and hard about going back after that kind of customer treatment. read more

The only thing MEGA are the prices. I tried this place out as it is closer to home than my normal cleaners. A standard adult size dress shirt is about $6.00. Other places are almost 1/2 that price. Research prices before you shop. read more

Mega Cleaners is an easy to use drop-off dry cleaner. I've never had a problem with their service and they're conveniently located for a quick drop. Their hours are flexible for folks who work. The main reason I use them is Jae's (the owner's) alterations. She's done everything from altering dress shirts for the perfect fit, to repairing clothes for continued use. She has modified pants and jeans to an exact cut. I brought in a few pairs of jeans with tears in the crotch and not only did Jae patch them, but she weaved a pattern to match the denim so it looks as if a patch was never applied. I am new to the Rochester area and as a working professional I drop off cleaning almost weekly. There are 2 ladies in this shop one is extremely polite and pleasant and the other has horrible customer service. On the few occasions I was serviced by the horrible shop owner she was very rude and made unnecessary comments to me about the time of day I was picking up my clothes and even scolded me for my clothes being dropped off inside out. As customers we have many choices and after the unacceptable behavior of this shop owner I took my dry cleaning elsewhere. read more
