Today is May 13th and I decided to check this place out in person after work. Turns out I have driven past this business a number of times and never knew it was here. Well, if I had visited this place last year, I would not have seen this name. The shop only opened up this year...as far as I know. The building is old. Using the elevators is most unsound. Take the stairs if you can. I saw the top floor, and saw water was leaking from the ceiling. It has been raining since early this morning. Here is the good news, you won't have to take the big elevator to go to any floor level. Once you walk through the main entrance doors, continue walking towards the back left wall by the wheel chair elevator. Qitopia Massage Therapy & Beauty Studio will be the first door on the left. Ground Floor G18. The inside of this business's walls give off a nice yellow glow setting the mood. I met a lady named Ashley who seemed to be in charge. I saw the prices on the wall, but this business has lot more services that can be looked at online. Take the Gua Sha Facial and Regular Facials for example. Prices are listed too. Ashley had a great vibe going on and the ambience in the room matched Ashley's vibe as well. Ashley's English language is getting pretty good. Ashely will have mastered another language very soon. I saw there is a what Ails You Chart on the desk too. I don't always see this at massage places. This helps the therapist get a better read on you and something to refer to should Ashley need to. Their business card has the bonus of getting your 6th visit at 50% off. These types of business cards doesn't always stick around at massage places. As of right now, Qitopia Massage Therapy & Beauty Studio has this business cards so get them as soon as you can. I plan to make an appointment with Ashley very soon. I saw on Qitopia Massage Therapy & Beauty Studio's website this public announcement as well. "Please be advised that for appointments before 8:30 AM, a minimum of 1 hours' advance booking is required. (571) 666-2492)" Thought this would be helpful. Note: This business is housed in the same space as Karina's Beauty Spa in Suite #502. Upon check-in, the Grinch-green hair dyed receptionist (wearing a Karina's Beauty Spa badge) was on her cell phone. When I walked up to check in, she couldn't be bothered to put her phone down. She dryly asked if I was there for Comfort Spas. When I replied in the affirmative, she said someone would be with me shortly. The receptionist immediately went back to her phone. However, when a guest arrived for Karina's Beauty Spa, the receptionist immediately put her phone down and perked right up. Clearly, she has no interest in guests of Comfort Spas. Per the website, I arrived 15 minutes early. I sat in the waiting area the entire 15 minutes before the Comfort Spas masseuse greeted me, on her way in from a quick run to CVS. Just before getting started, the masseuse (named Jasmine) asked if I had any pain or other problem areas. While this question may seem like a good one to ask objectively, it let me know that Jasmine had clearly failed to review the required form that I spent 20 minutes completing via her online portal. Seriously , if you have a form as a requirement, then it should be the foundation for discussion with a new client... I purchased a 90-minute hot stone/deep tissue massage. Jasmine was a pleasant person, with generally good technique but she lacked the finesse and strength of more seasoned people who do massages. The room was relatively small and cold. Plus, unlike all past experiences I've had, Jasmine did not use heated oils/lotions. Instead, she used VERY COLD lotion which was anything but relaxing. Quite jarring with each touch. Additionally, she used disposable gloves, so the lotion never had a chance to be warmed in her hands. When Jasmine asked about the pressure, I let her know that I'd like it stronger. Yet, she was not able to sustain anything more than a very light massage. The hot stone portion (used exclusively at the neck and back area) was just ok. Stone use was really just an "honorable mention" since they were used less than 5 minutes out of the 90 minute massage. In my past experiences, the stones have been aligned along the spine and allowed to heat any trouble area(s). The Waiting area décor was aesthetically pleasing, and scented with a candle. The music and colors are calming and help to usher in relaxation. However, the loud ticking clock is not conducive to relaxation. Overall, if you're a person accustomed to stronger massages, you may want to look elsewhere. However, if you like a very light touch then this may be for you.

She should have fixed it prior to taking appointments. The scrub was just a glove that exfoliated and not a real scrub. It is extremely hard to make an appointment. You can't physically call or ask questions. The massage was ok once i was on my back and didn't need the head rest. I Don't recommend this place. They need to get more professional. The room was cold. The little heater helped some but not the type of massage in use to. Wasn't offered even a sip of water or tea like normal places after the massage.
