My hubby lives coming here and I like to tag along just to use the restroom before heading home. My hubby's favorites are the taro scoop, egg pudding, taro balls and the grass jelly with ice cream... SERVICE: B+ Mostly self service at the kiosk AMBIANCE: 7/10 There's always a weird almost like spoiled milk or flour every time I walk in. Sometimes the tables are not clean. The dryer inside the restroom doesn't work. At least they have a restroom for customers so amen to that... I got the HERBAL TEA 9/10 and actually really enjoyed it with some ice... KEEP ROCKN MEET FRESH!!!!!
Phenomenal shaved ice and humongous! Enough for multiple people to share. Service was quick with plenty of indoor seating available. We always love coming here for a yummy dessert that isn't too sweet or heavy
Maybe I ordered the wrong drink, fresh milk green tea with taro paste, but it was gross. The drink looked appealing when I picked it up, but the cup was cold on top and really warm on the bottom. The heat melted a lot of my ice before I picked it up so the tea was very diluted. The taro paste was huge warm chunks of hot taro. It didn't taste good and it was hard to eat/drink. I do not recommend Meet Fresh. The shaved ice looked good so maybe that is what everyone was getting. The ordering was easy--zero human interaction though they still asked for a tip at the kiosk. No greeting, clean the tables yourself.
Boba runs are supposed to be simple. Walk in, order something sweet, and walk out happy. Meet Fresh usually fits that vibe with its Taiwanese desserts and milk teas which is why I decided to stop by. This place is great for studying. There's a wide range of table seating and WIFI is also provided. Though I came just for a quick visit to grab a boba drink to go. Here's what I noticed. This place is super inconsistent. There's a weird old milk smell that lingers around the shop sometimes and several menu items are often unavailable or marked off the menu with tape. It gives the place a trashy essence even though the shop tries to promote a clean modern aesthetic. Some of the booth seating leather or material is ripped from wear and tear which also makes the place look a little under maintained. There are two kiosks that you can order from which helps the employees out and gives customers the ability to see menu pictures and customize their drinks however they would like. I ordered the green tea with boba and fluffy which is their soft top foam. I have been to Meet Fresh before and have previously seen that they have a fluffy green tea option but didn't find it on the kiosk today which was weird since all the ingredients are available. Again inconsistent. I got my drink with half sugar. My sister got a green milk tea and mentioned that there was no option for no sugar which was strange since most boba shops allow that customization. There's almost no interaction with the staff as they send you an "order ready" text to your phone number you provide at the kiosk and then leave the drink there for you to grab at the counter. Most times there is an employee there to verify which drink is yours especially when it's busy but not today. My drink came out super sweet almost like 100 percent sweet. I even overheard one of the other guests mention that their dessert tasted like eating straight up sugar. Most Asian desserts usually lean on the less sweet side so I'm not sure what's going on but I definitely have had better experiences here last year. On the bright side the boba itself was nicely cooked and chewy. The pearls had a good texture. l also really liked the fluffy topping because it adds a creamy foam layer that brings extra richness to the drink and balances the tea pretty well.
This shaved ice tower was so huge! But I really enjoyed eating it. Took a long time preparing it, definitely waited over 10 minutes but worth the wait! The tables weren't very clean which is why I docked the 1 star but I really enjoyed this dessert.
Came here with some friends craving a sweet treat after getting hot pot in the same plaza. They have two self-serve kiosks for ordering but the UI is challenging to navigate so the line moved very slowly despite only two groups in front of us. I ordered a winter melon tea with lemon. My friends ordered a pudding and mochi shaved ice. My winter melon tea was ok but the shaved ice was a disaster. The ice was chunky and nearly impossible to eat. We asked if the ice machine was broken but the workers assured us the machine was working fine. This was unfortunately not acceptable for shaved ice. The ice cream and pudding toppings were thankfully pretty good.
Typical Meet Fresh. I always use the screen to order so experience was consistent. These places are always filled with aloof college-age-kid staff and this location was no different. Orders came out quick and accurate. Everything tasted well made. Textures were all there. Flavors were right. Very typical Meet Fresh. Got the purple rice B with sesame balls and that sucker was packed. So A+ for portion. Store was clean and organized. No empty trays or bowls laying around. Good spot. I'd come again.

The space is nice and comfortable, perfect for catching up and staying a while.Service was good too--friendly and efficient, which always makes the experience better. Definitely a spot I keep coming back to whenever I want a solid dessert fix!
Meet fresh is a delightful dessert restaurant. I love the simplicity of the ingredients and the subtle sweetness. As recommended by the kind hostess, Elena, we ordered the pudding &Q mochi milk shaved ice. The dessert was an enormous mountain of caramel flavored ice, almond pudding, mochi jelly, vanilla ice cream, condensed milk and coconut flakes. We shared it among four people and still were not able to finish it. Customer service was fast, friendly, and efficient. There was plenty of seating inside for families and friends to enjoy. The restaurant is located in one of Mira Mesa's busiest shopping centers, so parking can be a bit of a challenge on the weekends, but its worth it!
The shaved ice reminds me of taiwan. I tried the Taro Milk shaved ice (pictured) and it was the best. The service was good, ordering with the kiosk. I will come back again next time
Fun dessert shop in Mira Mesa. Parking is a pain, this strip mall is always busy due to the In-N-Out, Daiso, and HMart market. Very cute decor inside. The service is ok, you don't really interact with any of the employees until they call your number, since you order through the self-serve tablet. We ordered the Q Mochi shaved ice. The dessert is huge, easily sharable for 3-4 people. It has lots of mochi, melon jelly, potaro balls, ice cream, coconut flakes, condensed milk, and some caramel sauce. It was so refreshing and delicious, the mochi was soft and chewy, and melon jelly was yummy. We'll be back to try other desserts.
Their mangoberry milk shave ice is delicious. Came by here today, but they didn't have it (off the menu currently). Got the signature glass jelly instead, with sesame balls. This is yummy. Tried to order on small kiosk, but it didn't work (it doubles as an employee tablet and was dirty). So the employee was nice to take our order. Plenty of table inside. Place is pretty clean. There is a hand wash station. Take your tray and trash to the back when you are done. Went to 86 degrees down the street after to get a mango strawberry smoothie :)
I am not a big fan of bing su or mochi type desserts but this was pretty decent. 4 stars bc the person at the register helped me out. I just wanted a caramel pudding without boba, so instead of making me pay full price for pudding without boba, she added it on to an existing dessert and just added extra pudding for 1.25$ is didn't have to pay 10$! That was really helpful amd awesome of her. There are plenty of tables to sit at and bring your laptop to chill. Its a relaxed setting. The dessert itself can be overwhelming if there are too much sugary stuff. The ice cream part of my dessert was really good and the grass jelly on my other dessert was pretty good. Overall, the desserts are really delicious and the medium is really large! 3 people can share!

Desserts are good and refreshing on a hot day and comforting on a cold day. My faves are the ice grass jelly signatures and the taro balls in general! You have to eat the shaved ice super quick because it can get hard and clump up together. It's not the finest shavedbice like hawaiian shaved ice, kakigori, or wings. There is plenty of seating and tables, making it easy to hang out with people and share desserts. They also have Wifi so it can be a great place to work or study. You do have to clear your own tables so sometimes people can leave messes behind that staff don't tend to, unless it's really bad. read more
Meet Fresh is one of my favorite places whenever I'm craving something refreshing. My go-to order is the Signature Grass Jelly over ice--it's always satisfying, not overly sweet, and perfect on a warm day. This visit, I had my usual Signature Grass Jelly while my friend ordered the tofu dessert. We both enjoyed our treats, and everything tasted fresh. My only wish is that the prices were a little lower because I'd definitely come here more often. Lol. Even so, it's still a great spot whenever I'm in the mood for a light and refreshing dessert. read more

My experience here was honestly a huge letdown. I ordered some shaved ice from this establishment and it was abysmal. It literally just tasted like plain ice. It wasn't even properly shaved, it was more like chopped-up ice chunks. We tried to bring it up to the staff, but they didn't really do anything about it. Also, the service overall was pretty abysmal. There's basically no real interaction. You're forced to order through a kiosk and it takes forever to navigate through their massive catalog of options. It just makes the whole experience feel slow and impersonal. Definitely not a place I'd come back to. read more

Place was cozy and quiet, I came in the afternoon on the weekday. Music was cool playing on background with huge tv screen on it. I try the Thai Tea Series and it was good. Order the Medium Ice Shaved and they got caramel ice cream on top was delish! Services were nice even tho we order through the screens. One star down because some tables are dirty and my tables was sticky even tho there's no dirt on it and I need to wipe the table with my own wet wipes. Overall nice place to hangout with friends, family and doing some school work here, free wifi and charging outlets. Will come back again try other items! read more
Meet Fresh has the best boba in ALL OF SAN DIEGO. It is warm, squishy and you get a sip of boba til the very end of your milk tea!!!! The parking kinda suck around 3pm on a Saturday but the drink makes it so worth it. They sell other stuff but I am obsessed with their boba. They have kiosk available and you get your drink pretty fast. There's plenty of seats available and the best part, it is next to IN N OUT, DAISO and HMART. read more
Honestly this place is great for drinks but this shaved ice is ridiculously hard. I did not enjoy eating this. It's like they scraped the frost build in the freezer and served that. They need a better shave ice machine. Only come here for drinks until they figure out the shaved ice situation. read more

I used to absolutely love Meet Fresh. For years, my go-to order was the hot grass jelly and the lemon wintermelon iced tea. The quality was always consistent, and I genuinely looked forward to it every time. But over the past few months, something has changed--and not in a good way. The drinks and desserts are clearly being watered down. The hot grass jelly used to be rich and concentrated; you could literally see it thicken and coagulate as it cooled, which is how you know it's made properly. Now it stays thin and soupy, with none of the texture it should naturally have. The lemon wintermelon iced tea has taken an even bigger hit. It used to be bright and flavorful, with a good balance between lemon and wintermelon. These days, it tastes like slightly sweetened water. You can barely taste the lemon at all. I also tried the sago recently and it was awful. Instead of being chewy and bouncy, the pearls were mushy--completely overcooked and honestly pretty gross. I really hope Meet Fresh listens to their customers and fixes this. If they keep cutting corners and watering everything down, I don't see how they'll stay in business for much longer. Their quality used to be the reason people kept coming back. I'd love to love them again, but right now, it's just disappointing. read more

I purchased the Icy Grass Jelly Signature and found a foreign object in the taro balls while eating. To my surprise, the object turned out to be a piece of glass. I went back to the store and asked to speak to the manager about the incident. Unfortunately, the manager was not there, and the staff seemed uncooperative. When I showed them the piece of glass, they questioned my claim and stated that they do not use glass in their products. read more

Meet Fresh is located in Mira Mesa right near HMart. Their menu has a great variety of Taiwanese desserts and drinks. You can adjust the sweet level. Their shaved ice is a good sharing size for 2-3 people. There's hot options for those cold days and cold options when you want something refreshing. My go to are the grass jelly treats. The add on toppings are a plus but you can also get desserts that already have some of those toppings already. The tofu pudding tastes fresh and the bobas are chewy. You can order from one of their two kiosks, take your number, and watch your order status their screen. The items come out fairly quick. There's plenty of seats and a place where you can hang out with your friends and/or family. They have a water station on the side and a place for you to wash your hands and put your trays away. read more
Meet Fresh is a great place to go for Asian desserts off of Mira Mesa Blvd, located near HMart and next to Daiso. It is a small establishment so the 2 kiosks where you place your order can be tied up if the place is busy. Once your order is placed, there is a TV monitor showing the status of your order, and when your order number appears, you can pick up your dessert or drink from the counter. There are several tables and seats and you bus your tray when you have finished. We ordered the Crystal Mochi Milk Shaved Ice which is a large volcano-like mound of shaved ice covered with sweet condensed milk and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Surrounding the bottom of the mound are red beans, rice balls, melon jelly pieces, and crystal mochi (clear mochi with red beans filling) sitting on leaves. It was ample for three of us (they provided us with little spoons and bowls so we can share). It was delicious! read more

I recently came here and they completely forgot the toppings I added onto my drink. I paid 11.40 bucks for a strawberry smoothie add sago, boba, and ice cream none were found in my drink. I told the clerk and luckily she was able to add it, but she asked the girl making my drink if she added any of my toppings that were labeled and she said no. Once I got back in my car i realized it didn't come with the icecream I ordered. read more

We came here because my kids were craving for a mango shaved ice . But for some reason there were no fruit shaved ice desserts. The cashier said they' weren't in season yet. Not even strawberry...Weird not to have strawberries in July. But we ordered the brown sugar shaved ice and it was very good. It's a huge tower of shaved iced that was shared amongst the 5 of us. $15. It had vanilla ice cream, boba , red bean and pudding. Nice refreshing dessert on a hot day. This Taiwanese dessert place also sells boba and many other types of Taiwanese desserts. I'll return when they have the mango shaved ice in season. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks. read more
Perfect icy treat on a hot day! I've missed out on Meet Fresh and having just tasted this for the first time this weekend makes me feel so late in the game lol. We were out here visiting family and my niece treated us to have Meet Fresh. This Taiwanese chain is located on Mira Mesa Blvd near Daiso and H Mart. We shared a "Mangoberry", which was half Strawberry and half Mango shaved ice (like a Japanese Kakigori) with topped with a vanilla ice cream. This reminded me of Guppy Tea House that I used to visit 20 years ago in the OC. I liked the ice because it had a "fine" texture (not as fine or sharp as snow cones but a delicate-for-your-tongue and stays-icy texture). My niece ordered one of their Icy Grass Jelly with taro balls, mochi and sesame balls. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of it as the grass jelly had a slightly bitter aftertaste. There were plenty of seats when we came. Orders were done via the kiosk. And it was super packed inside this shop. They also had drinks like iced teas, smoothies, and egg waffles available. Definitely worth a visit and thankful my niece took us here! Looking forward to my next visit! read more
I actually liked the quality of this location more than the one I went to in norcal. The ice just felt less stale. We got the shaved ice to share and really enjoyed the almond jelly and mochi toppings. The inside is pretty clean and has a sink station to help wash sticky hands, especially our young ones. Who doesn't love this place! Shaved ice with mocha toppings and fruits. Their little creamer for an added touch. Ordering from the kiosk is a breeze as long as you know what you are doing because there's a lot of options. The shop is usually full of customers but the ordered comes out fairly quick. It can be a bit loud with all the chatter so definitely not a spot to sit and do your work. read more

I have walked past this place many times and I finally decided to try it. When we got there the guy taking our order said there was a 10 minute wait on ordered and aggressively tapped on a sign above him that said there was a wait. He was already not inviting but we wanted to try it so we said it was fine.. We ordered a Thai tea shaved ice and Thai tea smoothie. The shaved ice was not impressive at all.. it melted into itself so fast and hardened which made it super hard to eat with the plastic spoons they provided. It was like chilling at a rock and it had no flavor.. there were little black dots in the ice which told us the shaving machine needs to be cleaned so we just disgusted the whole thing all together.. the Thai tea smoothie was okay, also lacked flavor and it all just seemed way over hyped.. won't be back :/ read more

We ordered the Q Mochi Shaved Ice and boy was it delicious. This is a Taiwanese dessert spot that serves everything from Boba to Shaved Ice to Sweet Red Bean Soups that are such traditional delicacies to enjoy at the end of meals. We added in condensed milk and grass jelly which gave it an extra touch of flavor. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was playing Jay Chou so it definitely felt like nostalgic. It's definitely of my favorite dessert places to go. read more

I ordered the red bean soup and paid to have 2 sesame rice balls added and they were not added. I'm home now, too far to return to have it added back in. I would like a refund, I paid for items I did not receive. I attempted to call the business phone number and it says the voicemail is full and I am unable to leave a message. If you do add ons, ask the workers before you take your to go item. So they can give you the correct order on the spot. read more

Do you need to wait in the regular line for picking up app orders or is there a separate pick-up location?
For meet fresh app orders (pick-up), you can go straight to store front area and provide your order number and then pick up. Thanks.
How do I use the available rewards in the app? There isn't a "use available rewards" when checking out online.

Does anyone know if they make the Mochi on site? It's THE SOFEST mochi I've ever had!! Love it!
I believe some of their mochi is on site, otherwise it's manufactured by them in warehouse
