I got a milk tea at 50% sweet and it was actually really bland and had very little flavor in terms of both milk and tea. I've had this place on my list but have never been until just recently! I kept staring at pictures and was craving the signature grass jelly. It definitely hit the spot when I was able to stop by and I have to say the ice really helped with the flavor. There were taro balls that really just tasted like soft mochi, not even taro flavor so that was a bummer. The menu. Is so expansive that it can be overwhelming but I don't think you can go wrong with any of the signature bowls! As for the drinks, also a lot of variety. The ube milk tea was subtle but I didn't add any boba and reduced my sugar. Service wasn't quick but also wasn't super slow. They had a consistent amount of customers come by. I went to meet fresh recently to give it a shot since friends had been recommending it. I got there about 30-40 minutes before closing so the service was definitely lacking. There was some people sitting down waiting for their orders, but the cashier seemed anxious to get me in and out. I mentioned that it was my first time here so I wasn't really sure what to get, and the cashier left me there to look at the menu. Originally my friend recommended something that had herbal jelly and icy taro so I thought to get the signature. It took about 10 minutes to get my order, which I made to go to be courteous. Upon getting home I sent the picture to my friends and I was told I got the wrong thing, to be fair I didn't know what I was looking for or how to order it. My bowl was full of melted ice, which was weird considering I only drove 10 minutes to get to meet fresh. The dessert itself was okay, the textures were mostly goopy and slimy and the flavor was mildly sweet, the only part I really ate was the boba and a bit of the taro ball. An "okay" experience all around. Excellent for the environment and a very creative concept. When I visited, it was crowded. Although there was a large line outside the door, it moved quite quickly. I placed a take-out order for an icy grass jelly jasmine milk tea, mochi, and waffle. When I eventually arrived at my destination and tried to drink my tea, I was very disappointed to discover that it only had sweetness. The bobas had a little hardness gradient and were chewy. The waffle and mochi were both excellent. The other dessert at this restaurant may have been the only cool thing about it. Been to the one California, Chicago and twice now in Plano. Really want to support another great Taiwanese business like that of 85 degrees bakery. Again, been to several of their chain stores and twice to this one. Overall, I'm really Luke warm as there's really nothing that unique that would draw me back for future business. Overall, just thought it was bland. The ice was fine, the the taro balls and other stuff didn't have much flavor. As such, the shaved ice was just ice without much of a taste. Maybe some sweeten condensed milk would've been better but that wasn't an option. Boba drinks were average but everyone had finished their drinks while the boba were all left behind. Meet Fresh place offers traditional Taiwanese desserts; this place is also one of my got to places for Asian desserts. One of my most favorite dish is the almond shaved ice. The texture of the ice is slightly crunchy its crushed bits of ice not like bing su fluffy and soft. The dish also has soft almond putting pudding, mochi chunks, and mochi bits. The dish is pretty sweet and has a lot of textures. Another dish is the taro shaved ice which only has taro and a scoop of ice cream on top. This shaved ice is the same texture of the almond shaved ice. The taro shaved ice has only huge chunks of soft taro the texture is almost mashed potato but harder. The taste of the ice is milky and creamy. Meet fresh also serves boba I don't get boba here because it's only ok. I recommend going to ShareTea. read more

The toppings tasted like they were from the can, but we ended up ordering 2-3 different dishes just to try it all out. They have a large variety of flavors-- from the bland Asian favorite flavors to the sweet, fruity American palette pleaser. Like I said, it was a disappointment. I was expecting soft and chewy toppings, but they were bland or bitter, and hard toppings. I think the syrup they poured onto the ice is what made everything flavorful.
