They have always opened to the public 8.30-5pm Monday to Friday however they recently decided to open the cafe. The cafe will be open Monday to Saturday, and open late till 9pm Thursday-Saturday, so it will be a nice treat for those who live near the Beach Haven area. It was because of this that I noticed it and I am really glad I did, they have a whole assortment of chocolates, fudge and amazing chocolate gifts. They were very busy in there today getting chocolate ready for Easter, and if you want you can get a big chocolate with your name on it. As well as selling to the public they have a huge number of businesses that they supply to such as hotels, restaurants and shops. Today I had a coffee and biscuit combo that went down very well, and I tried the fudge - vanilla, chocolate and black sambuca - all of them were very good, but I especially enjoyed the black sambuca. I think I will come here often for my chocolate fix.

It's a super cute, quaint little shop in Beach Haven. When I wondered up to it this morning an EXTREMELY friendly lady welcomed me with the warmest of smiles and ushered me inside. She told me all about the store and the things they sold and offered and their hours. She was not pushy about sales or anything just genuinely filling me in on their business. I had a nosy around and loved everything I saw. I could find a gift for every single person I know, they were all wonderful and unique. I bought a three pack of truffles to share with my mom and sister. We nibbled and shared them between us and they were beautiful. It was only $5 for the pack, which I don't think is bad at all for quality chocolate. Extra bonus - they are open for deserts and hot drinks on some nights and there are ice cream scoops sold too. Everything you could want for a sweet tooth! I'll be popping in for desert very soon.

(So the sign mentioned) Perfect opportunity arose a few months back while still pregnant and the need to eat was enormous. Fellow mums can probably associate the love of either savory or sweet, and in my case it was oh so sweet! I must rave of their pancake size portions they are really something, and decorated with such personal touch. I decided that day that I would go for the Kids Pancake which was served with seasonal fruit and a nice surprise. I won't spoil the secret as it was cute and appropriate. Please do try this delight out there Original Dutch Poffertjes which is like a pancake puff, holy moly, really delicious, and can make one go back many times again. This feels like a family owned and happy cafe, with great service.

First of all let me talk about the place, Dutch Delight is a simple tiled floor with tables and the most interesting varied stuff on the wall, from maps, to postcards and figures promoting strange things. There is a children's room filled with toys for the kids too. But really, let's look and what drew you towards this review, yes I know your secret craving, Bacon .. No need to blush, it's my fetish too. This was crispy well cooked bacon, set onto Dutch pancake with icing sugar, special syrup and banana. When longingly asking for more bacon, this dish only gets better. In summary, if you like bacon on your pancakes .. Eat at Dutch Delight, if you don't like Bacon, then you and I have nothing to say to each other.

They let you taste (please do be considerate of people behind you so don't take very long). The staff is patient and nice. It's one of those blink-and-you'll-miss-it jobbies. Let me tell you though, it's worth driving round the block for... What's cool about The Gelato Workshop is that they make all the ice cream on site - pretty impressive given the size of the shop - and although they've only been open a short time, they seem pretty keen to throw out some interesting flavours. Think along the lines of bubblegum or candy cane and gingerbread for the festive season. On my first visit, I found it near to impossible to choose, but after several tasters, just couldn't go past gingerbread. It tasted so authentic, as though they had just put a coupley wee gingerbread men in a blender? Maybe they did. Regardless, it was off the hook and v.generous for a single scoop. So much so that I had to lick and drive in order to make it to the park down the road without spilling. Looking forward to heading back and trying more flavours. Keep an eye out on their FB page for deets on new flavours!

We decided to try this lovely place, i don't think this place has been here long but it seems really busy in terms of takeout. I guess everyone loves a good kebab !! But let's talk about the food, which is what we're here for !! Two things we got, the chicken shish (large) and a little share platter (chicken and beef)- I'm horrible with name so you're going to have to go by my description and photo ! Lols So firstly the chicken shish, the large platter comes with the chicken, rice, hummus, yoghurt with an olive on top. Flavor I will have to say 3/5 it was nice but I felt that it was lacking that kick or punch. Whilst I don't know how real Turkish food taste... I feel like they like their flavors so I feel like the chicken should have a bit more kick in them. The rice was light and fluffy!! The hummus was really nice to have with the chicken and the little green thing on the side (again I AM SORRY !! I am horrible with names!!). Next the platter! It comes with beef and chicken shavings (well that's what I call them cause they gotta shave the meat whilst it goes around and around and around ) The platter comes with Turkish bread, olives, humus and yoghurt like dip and salad. I may have forgotten a few things but that's what's the picture is for !! Lols, overall the platter was like an average platter you would get (i.e. Cheese platter) Overall the place isn't too bad for a kebab stop or for a little Shish or even dessert ! Even though I haven't tried it lols. But with the total bill being nearly 50$ it's a little disappointing! But hey that's my say, I still think y'all should give it a try !! Peace !!

The guy who brought our food was rude and arrogant, half of our meal was cold (after waiting for over 40 minutes for it), he implied that it was our fault we had to wait even longer because we sent the whole meal back to the kitchen instead of just the bits that were cold, and even tried to tell us that he's brought the meals as soon as they were ready.
