I used to love this place. I've been going there for years and have easily spent over $1,000 on Warhammer and various board games. For a long time, everything seemed great, but over time the staff's attitude toward me seemed to shift -- like they'd slowly grown to resent me coming in. That really showed on a recent visit when I tried to return a can of paint I had bought the day before, after realizing I already had that color. The store manager looked at me like a disapproving parent, sighed, and told me I "return too many items." She didn't say I was breaking any store policy -- only that it was inconvenient for them. I've made returns before, always with a receipt and always following their clearly posted return policy. For how much I've supported the store, it honestly offended me to be spoken to that way. It felt condescending and uncomfortable in a place I used to really enjoy. I did get my refund as a gift card, and I went back today knowing it would probably be my last visit. I picked up a board game and set it down on a table while I looked up what sleeves I'd need. An employee came over, took the game without a word, and put it back on the shelf. I said, "Oh, I was going to get that," and he just said "oh" and walked away. When I went to check out, that same employee -- who knew my name -- had a rude attitude the entire time. After I asked for my receipt, he looked at me and said, "Mind the return policy this time." That sealed it for me. I won't be going back to this store, even though I still have reward points left from all my past purchases. It just doesn't feel like a welcoming or safe space anymore. I've never felt so uncomfortable in a hobby store, and that's really disappointing after years of being a loyal customer. read more

I Bought 1 of Almost every mega and scarlet & violet packs here (Japanese) and about half of the packs were hits, this shop does not weigh their packs before selling, and they sell packs just slightly under market value (.50-1.00$ cheaper). Will be purchasing from here again. read more

Meeples & Beyond we discovered when going to Crumble next door. The place didn't disappoint. They had a decent amount of selection for board games, magic cards, warhammer and kinda just like a little nerds heaven. So of course my buddy and I had to drop some money on Magic cards. This is a very small store BUT it is packed to the brim with lots of amazing games. You can see from my photos just how packed, but the number of games and variety is staggering. They have a ton of strategy games and lots of unique small business ones. We had not planned to really buy anything and walked out buying 3 games, if that gives you any idea of the cool things they have. They have a small section of magic items like deck boxes and dice. They also have a decent minifig section near the back with pieces you paint yourself. There was a ton to see and they have a customer program that is free but tracks what and how much you buy and you can earn discounts for future purchases. I will DEFINITELY be back as we love gaming in our house. read more

Some reveiws I read said there was a "nice selection of warhammer". And so I went in expecting a nice selection of warhammer that is not what I found. It was mostly just books and dad but in the small section of warhammer they had it was mostly works, almost no space marines swell as not a single blood angels box In sight. A good thing was that there prices were decent. No one acknowledged me when I walked into the store though. read more

Such a unique store! Dropped in here to pick up some die as my husband and I are getting into Dungeons and Dragons and their selection was stunning. The employee was knowledgeable and helpful, and it was hard to leave with just what I went in there for. In the past, they have also ordered board games for us that were difficult to find elsewhere. I was browsing the store yesterday and a mother and her two young school age kids came in. The mother was looking for a chess set, but the kids had the classic excited response and flocked to so many different games. "If I don't get the cat game, I will not be ok" one of the little kids said, while the other took to finding the most complex Star Wars game the shop had. What really stood out to me though, was that the sales associate didn't go for "the sale" but instead talked to the family about these games being more on the complex side or needing tons of prep work before the game can be played. This was really nice to see. Putting the customer and family experience above "the sale" is what this shop is all about. Shout out to him and big love for this store. read more

This is a fantastic game store. It's clean, well-organized and artfully laid out. The employee who helped me was friendly, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable and was able to help me find the perfect game for my preferences. The place had a really good vibe going too, with multiple tables for friends and board game groups to play and cold soft drinks and waters to buy. Love the store! I'm a huge board gaming fan and my wife told me of this new store that opened up. It was a bit far for us but I was excited to visit nonetheless. While the store space is not that large, I was surprised by their selection of games including Kickstarters and less common options. The owners are amazing and incredibly friendly. I had such a great time talking to them about different games and some early development board games for babies and children.
