Nice place with great prices. I suggest asking for Chase lol. Bruhhhh I tried giving this place $400 and purchase a card for their asking price and they just left me. Moral of story I offered to literally purchase something, was told to come pick it up, and when I messaged the team they didn't want to help lol. I have dm screenshots they just weren't trying to help me. Now I'm No pokemon guru, but a business that doesn't wanna make money...... Lol learn something new daily. read more

Was asked by staff to post a review a week or so ago but who has YELP anymore? I have been in a few times and it wasn't until recently I noticed the ceiling. Exposed insulation, and insulation that has fallen down is a VIOLATION and SAFETY HAZARD. Customers and employees have been exposed to fiber glass. Will not be returning until this is fixed. The prices are also higher than other shops in this area, I recommend going to another store if you're wanting newly released items. The managers seem to have fallen to the scalper craze. They do have a good selection of bulk and allow you to sift through, which is rare nowadays. Other than that staff is very nice and helpful. read more

Wow, first time hear and I will absolutely be returning. This store has a very impressive selection of sealed product whether it be MTG, DBZ, One Piece, Pokemon, etc. The employee, John, took SO much time to walk my husband and I through the entire selection that was available and was generous to help us on price. It's refreshing to have someone help you that genuinely cares about the product they are selling because they enjoy it as well. All around, incredible store. Seems like they run several games on Wednesday nights, which is when we came in. 10/10! read more

Stopped by on a Wednesday to pick up some magic singles, and the guy behind the counter indicated that he only accepted online orders for singles. No problem, I can do that. When I asked what the lead time was for orders placed online, he told me that he was too busy preparing for the modern horizons 2 prerelease to deal with selling singles. He had 18 orders in front of me. When I asked if it would be Friday (shop is closed on Thursday) he shot a condescending look my way. This conversation happened 30 minutes after the store opened, with no other customers in the shop at the time, and the prerelease was 2 days away. I have never experienced such rude customer service at a card shop in all my life. I ended up going to another shop 3 miles away and the owner was exceptionally accommodating, although the selection was not what I had hoped for. I do not recommend north valley games. read more

This game store was within my line of sight on the road so I decided to check it out. The selection available was mostly trading cards, with a small selection of board games. Most of the internal square footage seemed to have been allocated to gaming tables. But at least it's not overstocked with things that no one's going to buy like at some other game stores I have been to. As we didn't have enough time to root through the box of trading cards we couldn't get anything, but their selection seemed pretty good. read more

Had to do an update.... Came in the other day with a long list of cards I wanted. Mostly commons, with a few uncommons and rares (EDH and Pauper EDH, here I come!). Love the system now so I can go to the PC and enter the cards I want, see the prices, grading and quantities... Once I hit enter, they pulled my list off of the shopping cart, went to the cards and pulled them up. Great system and much easier for them. Plus, they don't have to read my writing! While I was waiting, I watched a few MtG games. Loved the conversation, which consisted mostly of one player saying, "I'll do this, and this and this" and the other player saying, "Why would you do that? Wait, it does what? And then what? Oh, crap..." Loving the store layout even better now. It shows a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into making this a great game store! read more

The shop is pretty nice, I usually head in there for Legacy or EDH and get plenty of games in. The owner is very knowledgeable about his product and a pretty cool guy to just chat with. read more

The owner is super nice and takes time to answer questions. I needed a couple card pages for my son and instead of ringing up a full new pack, went to the back and brought me 20 pages + and shook my hand. No charge! That's the kind of place to frequent and stay loyal. I certainly will. read more

Visiting Phoenix from California and we needed a few dice. Well stocked snacks and they had awesome playmats available. Definitely had singles from the new set, even though we didn't buy any, their prices were great. read more
