We visited the showroom and got to see different materials and styles. After much consideration, we decided on purchasing Dekton countertops because of durability, its modern look, and no maintenance. Michael, the owner's team, came out took measurements and on the day of the build they did a promo job. They made sure specifications fit our kitchen and installed our under sink sink. Everything looked great and was level. We had purchased a big enough slab to also allow for a waterfall countertop, which was the highlight of our kitchen. They worked with our existing cabinets and just replaced the countertop. More recently. We had my mom visiting and she accidentally chipped our Dekton countertops along the edge of the inner sink. Michael and his team were prompt to get out within a few days and repair the chip. They even resealed our sink at our request. His team was quick and you cannot tell where the damage was. Thank you Lyvayko Countertops!

Our budget was tight, and I had originally intended to save money by using a leftover piece. When I couldn't find anything I liked under his remnants, Michael hunted down a killer deal on some new material for me. Our counter was a very odd shape, and the drywall behind the backsplash proved uneven. The installation went smoothly anyway, and the end result looks absolutely beautiful. I Yelped and found Del Mar Tile and Stone and checked out photos and crossreferenced everything. He had stellar reviews everywhere. John the owner came out within a day or two (on a Sunday!) to look at the project and gave me a quote the next day. The project involved tiling on the fireplace surround and also into a cutout for our TV and the vent for the fireplace above. The quote was fair for the amount of work involved and I thought, hey if he's already there maybe get him to re-do tile in one of our bathrooms (a much smaller project)? I texted him a video and measurements of the space prior to him working on the space and he was able to quote the bathroom without coming back! Super cool. The quality of work is amazing. I wanted to be particular with what tiles we should use and which we should not. He was more than accommodating and we have a beautiful, beautiful fireplace now and a gorgeous bathroom. Not everybody could do this job. It was technical as a fireplace surround. The tile contractor had to use the right mortar and he had to level it out just right. As we homeowners know, rarely is your house completely true and flat and square everywhere and the tile had to be done to accommodate all of the imperfections in our visually perfect house. The corners and leveling had to be perfect. He had to carve into drywall to make the corner of the fireplace square. It was crazy and it would have taken me decades of experience to do this myself (enter John). The cutouts for the fireplace and the TV surround had to be perfect. The bathroom turned out flawless as well. John is an awesome person and was so kind and courteous to our pets (he told my dog Thatcher she was beautiful) and was respectful of other contractors we were having at the house at the same time.
