I've Never Written a Review Before, But This Experience Deserves One…read more I usually let things slide, but our experience at this store was upsetting enough that I felt the need to speak up. If I could leave 0 stars I would. From the moment we walked in, we felt completely unwelcome. The man we approached for help not only made us feel uncomfortable and out of place, but also acted as if we were a joke. As we tried to explain what we were looking for, he chuckled to himself and laughed -- not with us, but clearly at us -- which was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. While he did end up helping us, he did so with an obvious attitude and made it clear that he didn't want to assist us. I'm not sure what was going on with him personally, but regardless, there is no excuse for treating customers that way. What made the experience even more baffling was hearing him question other customers about why they were even shopping at this location, suggesting they go to stores closer to where they lived. I was genuinely confused -- aren't employees supposed to encourage sales and provide helpful suggestions, not make customers feel like they're in the wrong place or redirect business elsewhere? Everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of respect and kindness - regardless of race, gender, or age -- and that was clearly not demonstrated during our visit. No one should leave a store feeling mocked, disrespected, or like their presence is unwanted. After a lil investigation I did myself, yes the makita jack hammer was fake. I looked at what was broken and I went to ace harder and spent $5 and they helped me fix the tool back to working condition. Moral of the story this company does not care if you have a problem with a tool or will help you fix it if you don't buy the tool from them. I give them a ZERO FOR MANHOOD AND COMPASSION. So I paid a higher price for what I was told was superior quality compared to other contractors but ended up with a 2nd rate job, with 3rd rate finish. I would never recommend this contractor to anyone I know, I'm not sure how they stay in business, but I guess once they have your money there gone right....
