The two women that work the reception desk look horribly unhappy. Say "hello" and ask people that walk in how they are! If you're that miserable, i suggest finding another job. I would think that would go without saying considering people are sick and are coming in for help. These are just basic customer service skills that need to be put into play at this location. The waits are terrible as well. Bad customer service, long wait times. How is this business still running? Okay, I had a good review for Med 7 but I had to delete it. I have had sinus headaches on and off for a month. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get in there on my way home from work. The doctor saw me for about 3 minutes which I understand is normal. But he did not listen to my concerns about being on antibiotics. When I started to argue as he was checking my throat and breathing I noticed his eyes shifting to my chest. I started talking again and there they went again. HELLO! UP HERE ASSHOLE! He gave me my prescription and sent me on my way. I will not be back. Ever. read more

I have been here a few times when my primary doctor does not have any immediate appointments available, and I have never had a bad experience (well, except for the fact that I feel crappy!). The wait is usually pretty minimal--I find that the wait inside the exam room is longer than the wait in the waiting room. Today, I was in and out in about 45 minutes total--I don't think that's too bad! Everyone that I have come into contact with has seemed competent, and they seem to care about whatever problem it is that I am having (i.e. they actually ask thorough questions, rather then rushing through). If you are in the need of an urgent care clinic, I would recommend them. However, I wish that they would call in prescriptions to save time! read more

If you are looking for proper patient care treatment with health care providers who are knowledgeable and really want to improve their patients health THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO. I should have taken the advice of the other reviewers. Beware. I went to Med7 on Tuesday(5/15) after presenting flu like symptoms the past weekend and in really bad shape while also unable to get an appointment to see my primary care physician. The wait that morning was an hour which I guess is understandable, but after being seen by a young medical doctor who you would think would know by the sound of my cough I was not okay sent me home explaining I had a viral infection and if I become any more dehydrated go to the ER. What am I paying you for and what was the point of waiting all this time? I was able to get in with my primary the following day, found out I had bacterial infection, ear ache in both ears and possibly flu symptoms even though the urgent care told me their flu test came out negative. My doctor sent me home with a 5-day antibiotic and a couple other medications to help with my cough and chest inflammation. After a day I felt such an improvement. This urgent care is terrible and don't go there. read more

It felt like my Dr. was irritated because he was there. No personality and whenever I asked a question he looked at me like I was wasting his time. Dr. spent like 2 min with me and I was like im never coming back here again. Everyone else inside was really awesome especially the front desk ladies. 0 stars, then a 2 star redemption. I went there to get a vaccination for my son. He is five. He is pretty cool about shots. I was a pediatric dental assistant and I have had my share of seeing how much children love shots. He is cool about it. As a result of that experience, I leave it up to the staff to control the way his medical visits go, of course I tell him to be good and everything, but I know it's annoying and a hindrance when a parent has their child's ear the entire time you're trying to get them to do something, so I let her take the lead. She took out a big a** needle and said, "this won't hurt, I PROMISE." #1 rule broken. You don't lie to a patient, that makes them mistrust everything else there is and be needlessly scared, you don't friggin look someone dead in the eye and tell them that something really painful isn't going to hurt at all, and then add your own personal promise. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??? That is so painfully basic. Moving on. The nurse unsheeathes the needle. Makes a stabbing-motion towards my son's arm with the uncapped needle. In full view. Says, "We're going to put a bubble underneath your skin, it's gonna be cool!" He recoils. Because he has any instincts at all. I told him to straighten up or I was going to be much scarier than anything they did, he started pleading, nurse talked MORE about this procedure with my FIVE YEAR OLD instead of saying ANYTHING besides how this icky thing would go, he starts trying to bargain, she calls in the reinforcements, they gloved up, held him down while he laid still in order to inflict the least damage to himself (imagine being held down if you were planning to cooperate in the next 60 seconds or so), and then it was over. He got a balloon and I told him the whole way home how retarded it was that that nurse had held a friggin needle up to his arm and pretended to stab it in and thought that was all going to be just dandy. I talked him up for the next one and he actually channeled his strength enough to do what we practiced: held his arm out and watched me and my magazine for distraction while the needle was injected, and it was over as soon as it began. Ice cream after. Different nurse. Please fire the one that thinks it's okay to take needles out and scare the crap out of otherwise impressive children. Fool. read more

I have been here in the past for issues that were easily self-diagnosed but required a prescription, such as strep throat, and have had no problems. However, I cannot recommend them due my last visit. I went in for severe stomach pain. I did not have insurance, and told the staff and doctor that I was self-paying. I wish I had just stayed home. I was poked and prodded until the pain was almost unbearable. Then I was told that blood tests were needed to find the cause. I asked how much that would cost, but the clerk said she did not know. I was asked to initial a form to authorize the test that they could not tell me the costs of. By this time I was in so much pain that I would have signed to transfer custody of my firstborn to them just to get out of there. I was written a prescription and then told that I should go to the ER (proving to me that the clinic didn't much care about anything other than getting my money and covering their own a**.) All this is just a bit of background, because the real issue showed up in my mail six weeks later. Despite my lack of insurance and vast wealth, Med 7 decided that I NEEDED 11 different tests at a third party lab for a grand total of $714. When I called the clinic to complain about this, I spoke to the clinic manager who told me she would look into it and call me the following business day. She did not. I called her three days later. The manager than said, "My director said the tests were necessary and that you have to pay." No apology for not calling back, nothing. I then called their corporate office and spoke with the director. She said that I had been free to tell the clinic not to run any tests if I didn't want to pay for them. I'm not looking for a hand out. I understand that the clinic has to follow the standard of care required by law. However, I don't think it is asking that much for the clinic to be able to tell me how much I'll be charged for being in their care BEFORE they have me initial a form saying that I will pay for all the labs they claim I need. In addition, I don't need any more businesses in my life that are happy to take my money but don't want to speak to you afterwards if you have the nerve to complain. read more
