Due to another location closing (and the last-minute cancellation of my appointment without warning), I went to this location as a walk-in. The staff at the front desk was efficient and fast. The staff who drew the blood was friendly, painlessly inserted the needle, and drew my blood very quickly. I appreciated both of them for helping me turn a stressful situation into a pleasant experience. The wait was minimal, as it was still before 9am, and there were only one or two people ahead of me. The kiosk check-in process as a walk-in was a bit lengthy. I suspect the process is simpler If you have an appointment. Overall, a very good experience. read more

Same complaint. The business should be open, but it is not. We arrived at 7:35 for our 7:45 appt and found 3 other people already waiting outside. They told us noone was there and they were supposed to open at 7:00. Frustrating! read more

I went in twice on consecutive days (the 2nd day requiring a fast which I didn't do the first day), and on both days had very fast and courteous walk-in appointments. The quality of the lab draws were excellent and I suffered no bruising or pain. They were supposed to open at 7 AM I came here at 7:20 and they were not open at all, no one was open. The door lights were not on inside. There was a light outside in the cold. I would never recommend this place. Very unprofessional will not even open the doors, they said they were open on the website. They sat on their door from 7 to 730. I sat there for 30 minutes. No one ever opened the door. This is SO unprofessional. Now I'll be getting my pills late because of them thank you so much. read more

I've been using this location on-and-off for a few years (due to travel, I am not always in the area when I need a blood draw). I'm surprised at the number of negative comments, as my experience has always been very positive. I typically do not make an appointment (again, due to travel), and instead will drop in during periods when I think it will be slow. The longest I've had to wait is ~30 minutes, though generally I'm in-and-out in 10-15 minutes. The office is "Old", but otherwise "Clean". The clinicians' know what they are doing. My results are typically posted within a few days (sometimes, NEXT Day). read more

My first complaint about this location is that the lab tech did nerve damage on my arm when drawing my blood. I've had blood drawn so many times through my life and have never had any issues like this. My blood was drawn one week ago, and I'm still having a nerve pain in my arm. I felt it immediately when she poked me (and missed my very large extremity hard to miss vein). She poked at the bend of my arm, and I immediately felt a shooting pain down my forearm to my wrist. My second complaint is that she did not label my blood specimen in my presence. She set the unlabeled tubes on the computer keyboard. I didn't even see any labels printed out anywhere. I left the room and it's still sat there. When I left the building altogether, it's still sat there, unlabeled. That's totally against protocol because it can easily be mixed up with somebody else's blood tubes. My third complaint is that I was to provide a urine toxicology sample. She handed me the cup and sent me down the hall to the bathroom. When providing a toxicology sample, you're supposed to follow a certain protocol such as not letting the person take their belongings into the bathroom with them and also making sure that they don't flush the toilet. She did none of that. I could've totally provided a bogus urine sample. This lab tech just clearly does not know what she's doing. read more

This is the second and worst experience I have had with these folks. Today they couldn't access my lab orders because her 'system' was down. Wasn't told until 45 minutes into my wait for service. As a former manager I can say that whoever hired this woman ...should be . I watched 2 people ahead of me walk out without service. My opinion is this isn't the place to trust with your health if they hire customer-facing folks of this calliber. read more

First time here for our companies annual tests. This place is dirty, dilapidated and the staff lady is completely indignant and rude. Their equipment is lacking and old but according to her "they are old but serviced every year so they are fine" The really gross part and probably a violation is that when she used one alcohol swab that was dry then she used a gauze she had set in the arm of the chair. Not sterile. When she had finished and tried to use the other one I told her no, it's not sterile. (Laying on a dirty chair arm that has constant people through, no thanks) she was annoyed. The older lady who works the front is so dang rude. From the moment you walk in she orders you around (without saying a simple "hello") and is so unpleasant. It feels like you're getting sent to detention every time you go there. Horrible. read more

This facility is a dump. No A/C working. Only one employee that attends the front desk and draws blood. Her poor desk was literally taped together with packing tape. The employee was very nice but the office is horrible. Used the restroom prior to leaving and urine sample from a previous patient was still sitting in the room. This employee needs help, and the facility needs a remodel. It sure didn't felt like a safe and sterile medical lab. Do not go there for lab work! read more

Don't plan on getting in and out. They only have one worker. If you by chance thought you could call and make an appointment don't bother, you have to know up front that they only schedule online. unfortunately we didn't know this and came early hoping to get in before leaving town . Plan on wait at least waiting an hour and a half. they used to have more than one person working here but not today. I'll be trying a different lab next time. read more

Scheduled my appt for a blood draw one month ago. Even though, my daughter told me to never use the Five Star Blvd LabCorp, it was the most handy for me. My doc told me to do a 12 hour fast, so I was furious this morning, 1 hour before my appt, I received an email that this site was not available today. Luckily,I called a number on the LabCorp website and someone told me there was another LabCorp very close to me and they took walk-ins. I went straight there and was treated immediately. Loved the staff and will make this my go-to place from now on. Next time I'll listen to my daughter. :)) read more

I go to other locations once a month for the last 7 months for bloodwork. Never had any problems, first time at this location, the older lady that did my blood draw absolutely shredded my arm. It's been three weeks and I still feel the effects from it, she hit the nerve. Still cant extend my arm all the way without a lightening bolt of pain going down my forearm. Still can't do several exercises and lifts at the gym. The bruising has been visible for weeks just recently went away. I'll give you two for it being a quick service but won't be coming back to this location. read more

Came in for a blood draw today and Dana was there to help me. If you are someone who has a problem with needles / faints or gets light headed, you will want Dana drawing your blood. Painless, best blood draw ever! It was very clear Dana is a seasoned expert and puts patient comfort first. I get lab work done here every month. I usually get the same woman helping me. She's very nice and extremely accommodating. Today i walked in to someone new at the desk. She was extremely rude and not willing to check me in. She told me to wait until everyone else was done with their testing before she would help me. There was more than 5 people waiting. She told me if i made an appointment and came back there wasn't a guarantee she could help me. She needs to be fired. Very rude, no customer service skills what so ever read more

Went in today (7/15/20) to get my blood drawn. I arrive at 9:50 and check in. The front desk attendant was rude and not helpful in anyway, but I was able to let that go because it is a stressful time right now. What I am not able to let go is after being told that I can wait in my car (no seats available anyways) and they will text me when they are ready for me, I waited until 11:25 and went to go in to see how much longer it would be only to find the door is locked and they have left for their hour long lunch. No message sent to me or communication whatsoever. This is completely unacceptable and a horrible way to treat your patients that are already visiting this facility because of not feeling well. Recently moved to Roseville from the Bay Area and needed to find a LabCorp. I'm glad I "yelped" this location because it's by far the most efficient LabCorp I've been to. Dana who took my information and drew my blood was excellent. She was friendly and typically when I get my blood drawn I'm always anxious. She made me feel at ease and I didn't even feel the needle! I arrived at 7:10am with one person ahead of me and was out by 7:30pm. I will definitely be coming back to this location if I ever need lab work done again and will highly recommend my friends and family to visit this location! Thanks Dana!! read more

Been using LabCorp in Rocklin for years. Melissa had always been there and she was awesome. Today when I went in I learned my "vampire lady" (my nickname for Melissa, whom I really liked) had moved away. I was very nervous about this, but her replacement, Jennifer was every bit as good as Melissa was. Jennifer is polite, friendly, and very, very good at drawing blood and making me feel comfortable. My last visit was in September of 2016 and have had the same phlebotomist over the last couple of years. She does a good job of finding the vein, but she reeks of smoke and the lobby smells like smoke. When my husband arrived, she was out on the curb smoking. That is just not desirable in a healthcare setting. I appreciate being greeted with a friendly smile and welcome upon arrival and that didn't happen, either. read more
