I'm asking for $100 in quarters every single time it's oh I don't know if we have that much you're a freaking bank you're telling me you don't have $100 in quarters on a Monday at 12 o'clock. Are you serious? What is the point of having a Chase branch even open if they don't have $100 in quarters this place is ridiculous. I've never have any trouble when I go to the Chase Bank and any other city around us but the seaside one always has issues. I honestly would not miss this place closed

The lady looked at their watch and said "sorry we're gonna have to schedule an appointment." I smiled said thank you and drove to the location in Monterey and arrived at 4:50 knowing I'd be too late. I scheduled an appointment at that location because she informed me the seaside location should have helped me with 25 minutes left to spare before close. They steal from widows and the dead…read more When my husband died last year, they started draining his account with fees and won't let allow his estate to close the account or otherwise protect this asset. They have withheld information and failed to send notification letters and have been sending statements to the wrong location, even though they have been informed of all this. They are taking every opportunity to delay and deny, and they dragged their feet for 2 months to "investigate". I followed up with official complaints, but after 2 months, Wells Fargo claims they acted within the constraints of what's legal, and they make no mention of basic human decency. The man is dead and they are busy picking over whatever they can while keeping the family at arm's length. They refused to pause the fees while they conducted the investigation and refuse to stop or allow the estate to handle this. It's pretty clear they intend to take every last dime, and my guess is then they'll assess fees for having a zero balance, take the account negative, and then charge overdraft fees to the estate. **there are no ethical boundaries for these people**. This is the most disgusting behavior I have ever seen from a financial institution, and I'm no Pollyanna - I'm genuinely astonished at the audacity and the lack of shame. I feel like I need to wash just driving past the branch. If you work here, shame on you. Does your mother know you steal from widows and the dead?

The branches only want to have two tellers per location. I've been in so many of their branches when I've needed to speak to a teller and there have been lines of ten to fifteen people waiting. In one branch, a lady starting screaming for a manager to notice the lines and do something about it!' What makes it worse is that while customers are waiting in line for service, there are five or six people sitting at desks working on their computers. Couldn't at least one of them stand up and actually start helping waiting customers? Or is that beneath them? I've been told, "that's the future of banking at Bank of America". I've told them that future will not include me as a customer. It's pretty pitiful.
