Why is it every time I visit this branch in Seaside the clerks never have the funds that I need. It's not like I'm getting a $10,000 out. I'm asking for $100 in quarters every single time it's oh I don't know if we have that much you're a freaking bank you're telling me you don't have $100 in quarters on a Monday at 12 o'clock. Are you serious? What is the point of having a Chase branch even open if they don't have $100 in quarters this place is ridiculous. I've never have any trouble when I go to the Chase Bank and any other city around us but the seaside one always has issues. I honestly would not miss this place closed read more

Went to deposit checks at this location the other day. Wouldn't let me deposit it citing some arbitrary rule despite me having made the same deposits the past five years I've been in business and being a Chase customer even longer. Would not recommend this location. read more

Great service!!! Always helpful the people there are always welcoming. Opens on saturday which is a plus!!

Thank you for your kindness, patience and efficiency. Your location may be modest and accessible but your service is top notch. I had read thru the reviews and wondered why the low ratings... the only thing I can think of is the modest surroundings. You were all wonderful and deserve five star ratings all around. BIG THANKS! read more

This location is near where I work so I've been here a few times now. It's usually aight. Sometimes they only have one person on the window like come on one person isn't enough when 10 ppl in line though come on with it read more

Chase Bank, Seaside Branch Went this morning to handle reactivation of 3 accounts. Paola was WONDERFUL! She was efficient, friendly, polite and very professional. Thank you Paola for a pleasant experience. read more

Service was extremely slow. Debit card wasn't working. They had no idea why. When trying to help my mom withdraw cash, they were so suspicious of me saying "it's for our security" when we provided all of mom's ID and important information. It was very slow, unkind, negative and inefficient service I've ever received. Teller was not very helpful and was very slow. read more

Came in around 1030am. Two tellers and two automated teller machines in the front were open. Both automated machines did not have paper if you wanted a printed receipt. A customer told two associates about the automated tellers not having any paper and they were running around and had to call a supervisor. The customer was quite frustrated and when the supervisor came to help the customer the look and snide comments that I witnessed was far from being professional. There were only 1 person one person in the queue for a human teller, the wait time was 20minutes before I was able to do a transaction. I came in to upgrade my chase debit to a Disney debit card because online it distinctly says you can call or visit any local chase branch. I went to a local branch and the teller told me they cannot upgrade it for me there. read more

Chase Bank - Visit a branch... It should say select branches... - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Seaside, California

The bankers in this branch does have good customer service skills. Their interest is only to help certain looking people. I was ignored for ten minutes in line while other customers were greeted, waited upon, and serviced with smiles. A long line was formed and not one banker acknowledged the waiting customers. Horrible customer service. read more

Garret was very unhelpful today. I asked him about information about ordering coinage and he had no answers and was very displeased about all my questions. I placed an order last week for half dollar Kennedy's and he told me there is no way to order them but in fact I placed that order already. Garret need better training and needs to be a bit more patient and if he doesn't know the answer he needs to ask than to deny any request made. read more

Bank refuses to cash a check written by one of their customers, citing arbitrary policy. Ridiculous. I refuse to deal with such a business, and I encourage everyone else not to do business with them. read more

Just became a new member. Girlfriend has been a member here since she was 14. Whatever girl working behind the counter with glasses "who's been working here for 4 years". Absolute horrible customer service. Was being helped by the young man who has always helped us when we come in, but this young lady interfered & took over assisting us or I should say deny us service. Would switch banks if I wasn't moving & wouldn't have to deal with her attitude again. Chase has been great, but this employee at this location, wow! How redundant, tone deaf, & incompetent can a "manager" be. read more

The manager from this bank doesn't have any respect towards he's clients the ones that have accounts in chase. This man needs to have that extra training, how to treat others with respect! read more

Chase picks up the Tab! It's TRUE! The winter promotion was cool: Chase was paying a charge every 5 minutes. They paid me a $10.00 credit, for a charge made in December. Thank You, Chase! They have a wonderful, friendly, helpful staff at this location. The business is a really wonderful addition to the downtown area. Good Luck! read more

100 % believable that this bank only has a 2 star rating. We have had a line of credit with them for 18 years. We were trying to refinance our home and because of them on 2 seperate incidents during the same refinance we could not complete our refinance. I will NEVER recomend this bank and as a matter of fact I will tell everyone I talk to about banks or mortgages to find someone else. Save yourself a lot of headaches, because once they have your loan they will never be there to help you again. I guess it's like everything else...it's about the money. There is no customer service! read more

This is the worst bank branch in all the world... Great Bank, crap branch... Week after week, problems... Two ATM's both down....

The whole system of making an appointment to see the notary is a joke and just because HE was confused about the schedule, he was a dick from the get...very rude. Didn't even tell us he was done and didn't thank us until we thanked him. His lazy ass didn't even get up from his chair when we got up to leave. I'm glad the Chase bank in Seaside is not our regular branch. read more

I needed a notarization and came to this branch. Been a Chase customer over ten years. Turns out I can't just walk in and get this done. Need an appointment. So we set an appointment. The notary would call to confirm it. On the day, no call. So I went in early. Lots of people waiting and sitting, one teller. After half an hour, I found a random guy standing around. Turns out no appointment was made. Wait some more. At this branch they've saved so much on staff you need an appointment for a simple notarization. And the wait for a teller is often 30 minutes. read more

They updated this place after Chase aquired WaMu and now it's set like all the other banks. Bummed, because the other way was more unique and their revamped style is more traditional. Always friendly service at this bank! read more

Horrible experience dealing with the personal banker. So unprofessional I question the people that gave a positive review, I would never go back to this branch! read more

I had a check written to me from someone with a Chase bank account. I don't have an account there, but the check says "Chase Bank" so I went there to cash it. I was told there would be a $6.00 fee for cashing any check over $50 without an account. Ummmm, that's weird. I don't get it. The check was drawn on Chase bank so they should be able to verify the funds and cash it. Pretty disappointing. I understand fees on checks that need to be cleared from other banks, but from the bank itself, I just don't get. read more

Need more tellers! Stood in line for 43 minutes only 1 teller. They have one teller out to show you how to use the automated machines, what a waste read more

The service at this bank is not good. Long lines, almost to the door with only a couple of tellers to help. I had to wait about fifteen minutes before I got to head of the line. This bank has two large machines, which the bank encourages you to use the machines and eventually replacing bank employees with more machines. I like the one on one customer service with humans not machines. read more

I try to avoid doing ANYTHING at this branch, always shorthanded, and it takes forever to do even the simplest transactions.

Just terrible. We recently added Chase hoping for a better online mobile experience. When it came time to add someone to the account we were told we had to go in to a branch. I searched yelp mainly for directions and was surprised to see a long list of one and two star reviews which I thought were kind of funny but 20 minutes later they all came true. I'm not gonna go into details except to say: all the waiting and all the understaffed comments are accurate. In addition to that, two days later we tried following up on the phone regarding the new account and had to jump through so many hoops, we fired them on the spot. It would be funny if it weren't so sad or is it it would be sad if it weren't so funny. Cannot recommend. Sad face emoji read more

Great manger . Very smart . Good change chase . We need more tellers please please . It take at least 20 mins there .

Rather small branch, but that's fine since I don't do much "inside" banking nowadays. I do like the fact that the ATMs are inside the foyer as opposed to outside. read more

This branch has a cosmopolitan group of top notch branch manager, supervisor, and tellers. Very reflective of the town it's situated in. For some reason, I've always been treated with courtesy and respect from the people working here, since they opened. Sure, there are always new people. As an older person, I give a leeway, for their newness. I was a new person at work, myself, many years ago. Now, I've been retired for the past 15 years. But this group of people are courteous, friendly, and very professional. With their new branch manager Hai, and supervisor Jose, and friendly veteran tellers, together, make this branch a winning combination. In fact, I haven't seen or heard a more professional person than Hai in decades. Supervisor Jose is also a professional person. And their friendly staff bring it all together to make a branch that can't be beat! Maybe before, there were some people rough around the edges. Not anymore, and not today. Those people are gone. In fact, if there was an award for the best bank branch anywhere, in any town, this branch would take it, hands down! When you walk in, you feel like you're in San Francisco, because of the cosmopolitan work force. But with friendliness from a small town. Chase is always giving away money. My son got $150 for opening a checking account a while back. My wife got $300 for opening an account a further while ago. And today they're offering $500 for bringing friends and family, up to ten. I don't know any other bank giving away so much money. But c'mon, we're all adults. There'll always be new people. But the veteran staff, manager, and supervisor here, can't be beat! Second to none! Invest here, and if you don't like it, they'll give your money back. An honest to God winning combination! Try it, and see for yourself! read more

Yesterday Fernanda B. was my teller unfortunately. Very uncouth to say the least. She made an attempt to humiliate me over asking if my debit transactions will be covered while my deposit clears, along with repeating my balance loud enough so everyone could hear. She then lied and said my pay check will not clear until 2-26-2020 ten days after deposit. She was rude and abrasive and to say she insulted me would be an understatement. I will never visit this location, if you are not Mexican avoid it they hate everyone but Hispanics. White, Black and Asian employees never stay. I have seen mistreatment of white and black customers over the last year at this location. Then it happened to me. Call corporate and report them. Zero stars for Fernanda B. She is horrible at treating non Hispanics like humans, Chase should really consider training their staff to treat all customers regardless of race or sexual orientation with respect, confidentiality, and fairness. Also reminding your staff that they too are consumers and should treat people how they want to be treated. read more

I'm in new electrical contractor, just started a business and went into Chase to open up a business account and business credit card. Jose Martinez was the one who helped me set everything up. Everything was going well until I applied for a credit card. I travel out of town for work and made it clear that I needed this credit card for my business as soon as possible, I was told once I was given all the information they needed to apply for the credit card it would take 48 hours for the application to be excepted. It has been almost 2 weeks now and still don't have a credit card for my business. I had to call myself to check and see what was going on, Jose apparently did not get the information needed to the credit card company four different times. I am now having to pay out of my own pocket because of the lack of Jose keeping up on things. I still do not have a credit card for my business. I never get a call back and I always have to be the one that calls them and figures out what is going on. I was supposed to get a call back today haven't gotten A phone call yet. This has made it for a very stressful and non-pleasurable experience with Chase Bank. read more

Wamu had such better customer service. This Chase like the Chase in Monterey is always busy yet consistently understaffed. With the growing line there is a single teller and one banker available. Its 3:00 on a Monday. What is the deal with this Chase? The wait times are ridiculous. Chase needs to stop treating customers like crap and actually offer a fast, friendly, banking. There is a 106 year old woman waiting for a teller. Thanks for wasting her time and everyone elses. read more

Someone told me they had long lines and they do!!!. Banks make money by using yours. Bank somewhere else

I dread going here. They have new machines and usually one teller for 10 people in line. They encourage you to use the machines to make the line shorter. They say its for your convenience but lets be real it cost them less to pay a machine then for a person. Anyways if you have all the time in the world this bank is perfect fit if not Id visit one of the other branches. read more
