I am a friend of Manuel the owner for more than 35 years. He was on vacation so I had to deal with Jose the assembly manager. I had a water pump replaced due to over heating. We were driving the car when it happen. Excalibur brou 8th 6ft 4thght a flat bed truck, the driver drove the car on the flat bed without any problems. We received the car back not able to go into gear at all, brought the car back after a couple of days of service. Jose's attitude totally changed, he became hostile, telling me not to come back. I am incredible picky with my stuff, especially my services. I have a BMW 530 and I don't trust anyone with my car except for Mebco! The owners and their staff are trustworthy people with excellent values and morals, unlike the horror stories that I've heard at other places. It feels like I'm amongst family when I'm there, from the front desk to the mechanics. My family and I are customers for life, we won't even put air in our tires without them now! Just had a fantastic experience at aN auto service business. Mebco does tires as well as being a full service garage. We had a low tire pressure warning. First rate and efficient. Belts slipped in my tire on the inner state on my way to the keys. It was a Saturday and hours from my home. Car was not safe to drive. I was taken without an appointment and back on the road within the hour despite the service center being extremely busy. José was exceptional. I went there to get my radiator replaced. Since they noticed my car arrived on a tow truck they tried to over price me. I guess or they are just ridiculous. Over $900 they quoted me. I went two blocks away and it only cost me $480. All new parts and months later car runs great. That manger/ owner is a con artist. Oh and after all that I had to pay for them to check that the radiator was broken. Really... I told him it was the radiator and all they did was pour water threw it and it leaked. Wow! Brain surgery.. that was almost $100. Never go there! read more

I have been a customer here for 10 years +! I have nothing but good things to say, honestly. The owner Jose is the nicest guy and always takes care of my family and me. Change of tires, oil, battery, rotation, alignment, blah blah car stuff. I've done them all here. The staff is great, the front lady is a little standoffish like she has something better to do but great for me, I was there only to pay. When my bill came out to a different number from the one Jose or Alfred told me, I always make sure to call them. They fix it right away, it's never an issue. I trust this place. My service is always anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Which is fast. The prices are pretty fair and affordable. Mebco has not let me down. Great job guys! Thank you. read more

A little hidden gem to get your oil changes and all your service needs for your car. I have to get synthetic oil for my car and I feel this place has the most reasonable price for it. I've been going here for almost two years now and even though I only go every 5000 miles (which ends up being maybe 2-3 times a year), they always welcome me with a warm smile and hello. I started going to this place about a couple of years ago. At first, they were awesome. The owner would meet you outside, ask what you needed done, take your keys and you went into the office to sign in. Pretty awesome. However, the last few times I have gone there, things have changed. A few months ago, I went in to have a synthetic oil change and a tire rotation. The mechanic tells me that he can't rotate my tires by law, because they are too worn out. I'm just curious as to exactly what Florida Statue, gives them full legal rights to make the decision to refuse to rotate your tires, by law? Is this state law, federal law, county law? I went somewhere else and they rotated them with no problem. Yes, they are a bit worn and they did mention that to me, but they can still handle quite a few thousand miles. This was just a blatant attempt to coerce me into buying new tires by refusing to rotate them, by law. Ridiculous. The last time I went, it was for another oil change and tire rotation. I was the first one there so there were no cars in front of me. Took them almost an hour and fifteen minutes to complete this task. Also, the mechanic came in the first time to let me know that the tires needed to be rotated, balanced and aligned. Give me a break, just rotate the damn things. They don't need to be balanced and aligned. They are not new tires and they are not exhibiting any unusual wear patterns. The second time, he came in, the air filter and the cabin filter needed to be changed, the cabin filter sure did, but not the air filter. I guess they never heard of compressed air which would have easily removed the dirt in the air filter. Anyway, these are items that a monkey can change so I decided to do them myself. Wasn't about the money, although they were charging me almost $20 for the labor alone, for a job that takes about three minutes to do. Picked up both filters on the way home and did it myself in under three minutes. Overall, they use to be a fair place to take your car for repairs. I am not so sure anymore. They definitely attempt to up sell you and they are not as honest as they used to be. It's a shame, they used to be really really awesome. read more
