Rodrigo is a great mechanic and he was recommended to me by my neighbor whose whole family goes to him. He is very honest , knowledgeable, and affordable. He does not try to price gouge at all. In fact, I asked him about my window making a squealing noise occasionally, and he told me that since it is a very expensive problem, he would just wait until it actually breaks before having it serviced. Rodrigo and his staff member (I forget his name--the taller, slim guy) were very courteous and helpful. Rodrigo asked about my ride situation and when I told him I was just going to take the bus, he had one of the staff members ride me up to the bus stop. That was a huge help on a hectic, seriously hot day, and they did not have to offer because it's really not all that far, but such a gesture makes a difference. My broken mirror was replaced in a timely manner. The only downside is that when it was running a day behind schedule due to parts, I had to call instead of receiving a call from them. Went here upon being referred to by a colleague. Had issues with the brakes and car swaying during turns. Rodrigo carefully listened to the issues and assigned Jesus (an elderly mechanic) to take a look at the car. He took the car for a drive and mentioned that a set of tires were bad and he would rotate them first to see if that fixes the issue. He put the bad tires on the rear and also adjusted the brakes. I still had vibrations during idle and at traffic lights. Rodrigo gave me a quote of $876 to replace all 4 mounts. Seemed very reasonable to me. But when I asked if I could go on without changing them for a while, he honestly replied yes! And then I decided to pay for the brake service and I heard the words "get out of here" :) I was shocked at first and asked if I could atleast pay a small amount as a token of appreciation. Rodrigo refused to take the money and said I could refer other guys. I did not want to insult him by insisting anymore and drove off. Cannot thank him enough. And Jesus, you are a great mechanic! Honest service and excellent car Doctor. No surgery if not necessary. He never use bandaids. Rodrigo solves the problem, My last visit was to cure an air conditioner problem. I went in a while ago the mechanic worked on one of my family member's car it was great. I took in my car had a omap sensor problem (I didn't know till he told me) I asked before he even check the car if they were gonna charge me to check it he said no. so I leave the car. Two days later tells me that tomorrow he would check & then tomorrow comes and he tells me but that the part wouldn't come till 3 days later i told him i'll take the car and see if i can find the part myself cheaper and bring it to him so he can't install it he said he would charge me 10 dollars to install so i said cool only 10 later i find out the part is a lot cheaper then he said online and i go look at a couple of youtube video and to install it was like less then a min two screws out and new part in so ( I never got to thank him) & forgot well weeks pass by and my friend I tell him to go to him he a very good mechanic and honest but then he literally goes oh aren't you that guy who said that you were gonna bring the car (he said he bought the part) mind you I told him i'd buy it myself & then talks very rudely that i owe him 75 for the the check up and he didn't even let me talk he said to his friends right in my face to never do work for me?? I left very mad bc he never said they were gonna charge me for that if that were the case i'd go somewhere else ALL I ASK was to connect the obd2 and check what it was and wanted to charge 75!!! saying oh mine cost $5000 but to tell me a simple problem? he was cool at first but then became rude... would love to speak to the manager but i never knew who the hell was in charge honestly. & oh don't get me start rude on the phone has a mean attitude read more
