Hometown Lube - Oil Change Stations Near Me - Miami, Florida

Super friendly service! My last servicing was done at another location that didn't screw my oil filter on tight and I lost all my oil in 24 hours and had to pay another location to fix it. Because of this I was super paranoid about it happening again and asked them to assure that it was screwed tightly. They did with a smile Also was offered a free soft drink or water while waiting in my car! Definitely found a new service location read more

Hometown Lube, located at 13600 SW 128th St, Miami, FL 33186, is a family owned according business website that say's started in 1962 and was taken over by the owner's son in 1983. The Kendall location is managed by Brian. But business is registered to Gilberto Galceran, This Sunday afternoon, I visited Hometown Lube Kendall for an oil change after my BMW's computer indicated the need to add a quart of oil. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly service writer named Luis (service writer), who explained the pricing and services available. Notably, they offer Mobil 1 oil at a price significantly lower than what my dealership charges, which aligns with my vehicle's recommendations. I chose to stay in my car during the service, as they offer a "stay in your vehicle" option at most locations. The entire process took about 30 minutes, and I was impressed by their quick and reasonably priced service. Overall, I am highly satisfied with their customer service, value pricing, and efficiency, and I highly recommend Hometown Lube Kendall with a 5-star rating. read more

One of the greatest experiences with an oil change, Efficient, Quick, and informative the entire staff took through efforts in order to ensure that I knew exactly what was being taken care of and paid for with my vehicle. Had me in and out in under 15 minutes! read more

I recently got my oil changed here and was treated like a king my sons were given teas and water and I also was given tea for a very hot day. My oil change took a total of 15 min at most but was done with great quality and care and spent the same amount as if I went to jiffy lube Midas or valvaline!! I'm glad Midas closed early that day or else I would not have found this hidden gem thank guys who work here and keep up the great work. You have a patroon for life. read more

Great service. Everyone was friendly and handled my truck with care. I was in and out in less than 15 min.

My GFs car, having a bad oil leak, was running dangerously low on oil. Considering she'd just been topping it off for way too long, I suggested we go get a change instead of another band-aid bottle. She found a $20-off coupon online and we checked the reviews. Looked great so off we rode. While I frequently change oil myself, this place is great for those who don't. You pull right in, don't have to leave the car and they're super quick. We were in and out within 15 minutes. They also give you free water or soda while you "wait" which is a great touch. It was going to come out to $44 for conventional without the coupon, which isn't too bad. The tech offered to replace the wiper blades for an extra $24 which again isn't too bad even though they're a simple change, so we opted in with rainy season on the way. A lovely location for a lube, I'd say. read more

I to my Buick Enclave with 68000 miles to get an oil change. I usually take an old 2005 Chevy Cobalt to this location and I never have issues. I usually take my Buick to the Dealership to change the oil for quickness and service but I was in a hurry and did not plan accordingly. When I arrived I told them the type of oil I wanted (5w30 full synthetic). After the oil change, the Check Engine light stayed on. I asked them if they touched anything electrical, the managers response was that all they do is change the oil. I told them that I was going home to check the code. When I came home, the codes were related to the MAS airflow sensor, then I realized what happened. In order to check the the engine air filter, you have to disconnect the sensor. When this was going on, the helper told me to turn the ignition key to the on position, but not to turn the engine on. When I did this, the electrical circuit was not complete and a code popped up. I erased the codes and the car is fine. I called back and spoke to the manager to let him know what happened so this doesn't happen to another person. His response was that he never touched anything electrical even though I saw him do it. He also stated that he has been in the business for twenty years and he would keep interrupting me, stating don't play mechanics if you are not. So either he has been doing this for twenty years and just doesn't know about cars electrical systems or he did it on purpose. I finally got frustrated and hung up the phone. He just lost two customers and anyone else that I speak with. BTY, the only reason I took my car here was because I had no time. I have worked on cars all my life and I'm an Aircraft Mechanic that specialized in electrical systems, besides many other things I fix. My advice do not take your vehicle to this place and if you do, remember that they DO NOT stand by their work. read more

These guys take care of you every single time. Today was the most exceptional case. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. They noticed that one of my wheel bolts was stripped and went out and got me a new bolt. Thank you for always doing a fantastic job with my BMW. read more

Long story short I got an oil change and had to get a new car. I got an oil change and broke down in Palm Bay a few days later. The tow truck driver, road ranger, and mechanic all said my car was given way too much oil and it leaked into the engine and therefore I needed a new one $6,800. My car was a 2015 with 60,000 miles they said this should not have happened, but wasn't sure they could prove negligence. I am new in town and I just picked a random place to get an oil change. Do not do the same! It makes it worse he tried to sell me a $100 synthetic oil change when I told him I've never gotten synthetic he said it would show up on my car fax report and he would show me. He opened my hood and realized he was wrong I should've taken that hint and left right then. I had to get a vehicle since I was stuck 3 hours away so there is nothing I can get from this place since my car is gone probably sold for parts and taken to a junk yard. All I can do is hopefully save someone else from this nightmare. read more

Had my oil change and full service done yesterday. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Outstanding job!

I recommend this place hands down!!! Honest, caring and great customer service! I've been using them for a long time. However today my car was making this really weird noise... it was 5 till 6 and they close at 6. They could have told me .. sorry I cannot help you at this time. But they didn't. Bryan was ... you need to have this "plate" taken out- this is what's making your car make this noise. The other guy that was there... I don't have his name ... but really awesome guys as well... immediately took a look at the car. In about minutes they were looking at what was wrong... checking my oil (which was due) and repairing what was obvious. I can't say enough!!! They are simply amazing!!! I continue to return here because it's not about the money ... they truly care about you. read more

Fast. Efficient and friendly service. They even got soft drinks for you to cool down with this crazy weather. The place is pretty clean and makes you not dread the fact you have to get an oil change. The best place to get your oil change. I really do recommend this place rather than any other oil change location. read more

I love this place. The owner was there that day, but even when he isn't, these guys have a sense of ownership and pride. The price was fair. I walked out with free windshield wipers and free oil plug (mine was stripped). They also identified and showed me a potentially hazardous condition, which they easily fixed. There were applicable discounts for a returning customer which they gave me without having to ask for them. I double checked their pricing and it was reasonable. If you have ever lost a car due to incompetent oil change maintenance, you will appreciate this review. My car is a 2014 low mileage car and I am about to retire. Good service is so important to extend the life of my vehicle. I also love that these guys are not a chain. The owner owns four of these in the county and they are invested with their community. This place checks off all the boxes for me. Give them a try and tell them Jane sent you. read more
