Pre-packaged meals and drinks are available to grab from the refrigerators as well if you are just running by. If not, there is a small indoor seating nook with tall seating. I didn't love the Brilliant Brain as I could taste the stevia, and the desserts we tried were ok. The blueberry lavender cheesecake was heavy on the lavender. I will return to try others.

That's finally changed with the arrival of Conscious Kitchen ATX, a new wholesome oasis in West Lake Hills. Opened just three weeks ago, it's already redefining what it means to eat well and be well. Nuts and seeds form the incredibly hearty foundation for most meals, like the pizza slathered with pesto and sun-dried tomato sauce, veggie burgers that use two patties instead of buns, and hefty breads that could double as savory granola bars. I was treated to a sampler platter because I always need a little taste of everything. Try to save room for dessert though, because these creamy creations are something else. My favorite was the coffee cake, which actually relies on chicory root to impart a caffeine-free latte-like flavor. Conscious Kitchen isn't just filling a gap in the local food scene, it's rewriting the script on what healthy eating taste like. The proof is on the plate that raw food can be decadent and crave-worthy, too.

It's a market, so they have a produce section, dried goods section and more. That also have a (breakfast) taco bar, and a food warming station stocked with hot sandwiches and the like. Someone there suggested to get a Seitan Ruben, but it turned out to be a terrible decision. I think the bread part was ok, but the innards had a nasty sour flavor that wasn't really from the sauce. The sauce was not uniformly distributed; one side was very saucy. It was pretty disgusting and ended up passing through my system pretty quickly. We also grabbed a hot chicken sandwich. Because they wrap their sandwiches in paper lined foil, the latter one was soggy. It pales in comparison to chicken sandwiches at Popeyes or Chick-fil-A. However, we did spot flan from a local producer we enjoyed from one of the farmers markets, so not all was lost. Parking is plentiful. If you want to eat here, there is an eating area near the entrance. In that area, they have paintings from local artists. The bathrooms are reasonably clean. I would need to return again to assess whether or not to include the grocery portion of the store as a grocery shopping option. So far the prepared foods are a no-go.

I was looking for some lip balm that my parents used and which I had taken from their apartment after they died to remember them by. I was running out and stopped by the pharmacy to see if they had anymore that I could buy since it helped me remember them during the grieving process. They didn't have any at the store saying they no longer carried that lip balm and offered me an alternative but when I told them I was looking for that particular one since it reminded me of my departed parents, several staff asked me to wait and they went into their warehouse to see if they could find me any remainders. Luckily they found a few and wouldn't take any compensation for them. You are lucky to have a store like that in Austin with such compassionate staff.

The good news is they have knowledgeable people there to help answer my questions. Thanks for taking care of the community, Alive and Well!

We went on a Saturday night and it was very well lit, although the deli offerings looked a little bit sad. As you know TGTG is a surprise. You don't know what you're going to get. My TGTG was $7.99 and my flowers were a mixture. I went to the service desk, said I have a TGTG floral purchase. They made a call to the floral department and a few short minutes later the gentleman came out with a big bundle. I was so thrilled at how many I got. Now, I know they're not going to be perfect. They are starting to have a droop effect. But for the cost, they are amazing. I've had them at home now for 2 days and I think they actually started perking up. Very happy with what I received. Their pick up window times are late, 8pm to 9pm and I don't live close by, so that's an inconvenience for me. But I happened to be out that night and saw that they had the TGTG service on. Hopefully in the future if the stars are aligned, I'll be able to get a floral arrangement again.
