Thankfully, Tori was on time, patient, friendly, and confident she could get it right and she did! I have been feeling pretty down lately about my hair because it was so dry/damaged, and the color was not to my liking. I've thick, coarse, slight wavy, southeast asian hair and I've been going to 2 different salons - 1 for cuts and 1 for color. Emily cut off all the damaged ends and gave me a beautiful gloss that suit my black hair. The tone is beautiful and suit my olive/warm skin tone nicely. It is chef's kiss.

I have attached the invoice and no where is anything broken down . Furthermore you offered no remedy just a bunch of word salad trying to justify your pricing when the website is crystal clear on what is included in your package . So please don't try and make it sound as if you are a caring owner .. cause that is far from the truth . You grossly overcharge and the proper remedy would have been to honor the blonding session package at the price on the website and returned the additional amount of money that you charged. To charge your client 4% cc charge is outrageous . That is a cost that is on a business owner not to pass along to you clients just another way for you to be piggish . Regards

That was not communicated to her and they charged her the full $300. Then - she gave a $200 tip. If a teenager comes in alone and gives an excessive tip, you should speak up. I called to see if they could refund a portion and they refused. Lesson learned for my kid but do better. I have given excessive tips before on purpose and people always question it and I insist. Nothing was done here. So my daughter now has a partial highlight for $500. Go elsewhere.

I started seeing Tracy about a year ago when I totally botched my hair using boxed dye. I turned my dark brown hair all shades of orange and red. Oops. This last appointment, Tracy was booked but I saw Samie and, once again, I couldn't be happier!! I especially love how the highlights were done this time to be different depending on where/how I part my hair. It even has a different appearance if I pull my hair back. She has been going to the "the best hair Solon in Peoria" for a long time and almost always Lisa is the stylist who sees her. Almost always Stephanie is the receptionist who handles our appointments. She is treated with sensitivity and love. It is more than customer care; it is human caring and understanding and patience. There is no fee that can buy that. It comes from another motivation. If you want quality of service that is packaged with character, look no further. I will never take her anywhere else. How can you beat the best? I have curlier hair and it's been a struggle over the years, to the point I started trimming it on my own. At this point, I just wanted a pick-me-up from a professional. She did just that, and more. I was super anxious walking in, and she just put me at ease. She was gentle, considerate, and professional. She didnt rip my earrings out with her comb, she didnt cut off more than I asked, and she really cared about me as a person. The game changer for me was that she actually offered to style my hair curly/natural. I have never in my life been offered to have my hair styled naturally. In the past it's either been a blow out, or just leave with it wet, no other options. However, Shamika asked what kind of styling I preferred, if any, and she even educated me, in a thoughtful way, on what the best products are for my hair. I've been scrunching mousse only yall; y2k called me & wanted that ish back!! Lol I needed some help! I'm so happy I found Shamika and Glam Ave. She is truly a hair angel! I will definitely be back.
