I called numerous repair places and no one was able to repair it before our departure. I contacted Josh and he was able to get the arm two days after we arrived in Dubois Wy, he came by and replaced the awning arm. The arm was the one with the motor. All the repair places in TX wanted to replace the whole arm (including the motor). Josh was able to get the arm without the motor, replace the arm using the original motor which saved me $350. I really appreciated Josh's punctuality. He did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. That trait is really hard to find now days.

A buddy rode back to Sundance to pick up a tractor battery from an auto parts store. Riding down Cleveland ST, he saw a sign for Woody's HD repair! They had a battery in stock, and he brought it to me and I was on my way. Unfortunately, 20 miles down the road, the battery and engine light came back on, and I knew I had an electrical issue and immediately pulled over. I knew I could not ride the 30 miles back to the shop, so I used the receipt and called Woody's. They sent a trailer and picked me up. Woody's was jammed as this was Sturgis Bike Week. They had correctly identified a burned out stator and had (1) in stock. 2 hours later, I was back on the road and the rest of my trip was without further mechanical issues. Erica, the shop manager and wife of the owner, was the nicest, most understanding person I have ever met. She was very reassuring that my bike was in good hands and would be fixed. The prices were very fair, and Justin, the owner and tech, was very capable. This is an OASIS in the middle of nowhere (as far as a broke down bike is concerned), and all of us felt lucky to be is such good hands. Another surprise was that Deluxe HD was also located across the street (new shop), but I much prefer Independent repair shops.

We lost power in our RV - asked the campground for local RV technicians as we couldn't leave the RV…read morefor touristing and leaving the dog behind and all our appliances wouldn't work (full fridge and freezer were a major concern due to food loss). We called several RV technicians that the campground recommended and they couldn't get to us right away - one even quoted us an emergency flat rate of $350 to make an emergency trip + $395/hour (1 hour minimum) to diagnose and repair the problem, they would've shown up 8 hours later. While we were calling RV techs, we had left a VM for Marty's Mobile RV Repair and he called back while we were calling around - he was driving around the campground looking for us! He was there within 20 minutes of our call looking for us and he was totally prepared to diagnose and fix the problem right away! He spent a couple of hours chasing our power failure and he found it and fixed it before we had major problems with the month's worth of food in the freezer. He also worked with my husband for repair tips on the various fuses that were involved in the diagnostic process and solved the problem. We were in week 1 of a 4 week trip and he was amazing, responsive and super friendly. Add to that he was incredibly reasonable price-wise and also gave us some touristing tips for things to see on our travels.
