I said I'm still shopping in your store. The real reason she was asking is because they charged at 3 1/2% surcharge which I detest I just don't know why they just raised the price is $.25 cents to cover the credit card charge so for the bacon egg and cheese and a large iced coffee. It was over $10 and I paid cash can you only imagine if I paid by credit card it would've been another $.35 I guess management is that desperate for $.35 that they have to charge 3 1/2% more. It's a great combination of cold cuts that just synchronizes so well with the American cheese and oil, vinegar, spice concoction of the works. As for the hot sandwiches the eggplant parm has been my favorite. The eggplant is smooth and binds with the red sauce perfectly. Today they released a new contender for the best hot sandwich with a catchy name: The Rolling Roaster. It had roast beef soaked in Au jus enhanced with extra beef tallow blanketed with a layer of homemade cheese. The result was the juiciest roast beef with a deep beef flavor. The soft bread interior did a good job catching all of the excess juices as it was not as messy as I anticipated. Hope this stays on the regular menu as I will be adding it to my order rotation. My Hero is old school only accepting cash or checks. Along with that comes the great service and charm that makes this place what it is. In recent years they have made an improvement in the parking situation. Now you can park in the carvel lot next door.

We also got the Buon Giorno Panini, which was super flavorpack (adding bacon is a must!). To top it all off, we had the Cannoli French Toast, which was rich, creamy, and the absolute perfect sweet ending to our meal.
