Please avoid this Groupon and this facial!! The lady running this Groupon package is a complete scam! After purchasing this Groupon, she insists on confirming your appointment by adding credit card information to actually book your appointment even after paying for the Groupon!!! Wth?! She made me give her my Groupon redemption code so she can redeem it and then ask me for my credit Card information to book my appointment. And we all know that after a Groupon is redeemed you can't return it. So I was having trouble returning the Groupon since she already marked as redeemed, and so I contacted Groupon customer service who fully refunded me & I made sure to report her scam to Groupon! I ended up going to a wonderful spa in Seal Beach with another Groupon deal and tried forgetting about this horrible customer service I had just endured! AVOID!!!!! The technician does not listen to the client and does a cheap job. Her excuse is she will do a better job next time without a Groupon. We had a rough start setting up my appointment, but I was pleased with my lashes in the end. I contacted several businesses to make an appointment on a particular Saturday because that was the only day I was available and needed them done for the evening. Mya, the owner of Me Time Indulgence, responded within a few hours and I was able to get an appointment in. Then, I found a deal for her business on Groupon, and went ahead and purchased it. Later, she stated that she doesn't honor Groupon deals on Saturdays, but will allow me to. After that, she messaged me asking for my voucher #, which I hadn't seen until the next day. Before I could give it to her, she went ahead and canceled my appointment! I was very upset by this and bothered that she mistreated me for using Groupon. A couple days later, she contacted me to let me know a space opened up. I can't help but wonder if she decided to look me up to see my badge. I was ready to give her a much worse review as well, but I still wanted to try her services. Her space is small, but clean and calm. Mya was very nice and explained the process well. What usually takes about an hour and a half, she completed in less than an hour, and I loved how long and full they were! I traveled to the Caribbean the following week, so I got them wet quite a bit from swimming. So, of course, some of the lashes fell off, but there's still some on by this 3rd week. Lesson: let her know if you purchase her Groupon deal and don't expect to book on Saturday! I can see why she's busy though; she's actually really good. read more

I didn't see any reason to provide my credit card info when the Groupon had been purchased already . I confirmed at least 5-6 times via text & email that I would show up on the day & time planned , but she insisted on taking my credit card info . She said she would cancel the appointment, unless I provided her with my credit card info . I understand her wanting my credit card info had I not already pre -paid & she may want to charge a fee if I didn't arrive as planned. But ,I had a pre paid Groupon. If I didn't show ,she would receive Groupon $ and I am the one who would lose $$. I have been coming to Mya for about a year and a half maybe a little more but she is awesome and super sweet. I came to her when I went to another salon for lash extensions in Costa Mesa and it was awful. That place I wish I had taken a photo of the clumpy glue and awful lash extension job they did to be able to compare it to the amazing job Mya did. I found Me Time Indulgence because I had a Spa Finder gift card. Booking an appointment online was easy, however Mya did contact me after to see if we could move the appointment, I booked the max facial assuming that is what I needed however once Mya examined my skin she recommended the Vitamin C facial. Her suite is comfortable and she diffuses wonderful aromatherapy so the atmosphere is very soothing and comfortable. Mya offers to explain each step in the facial or to just let you relax and enjoy the treatment. The treatment was incredibly relaxing and my skin feels so much better. I had services here back in December 2017 for eyelash extensions. I had a Groupon and received a set of full volume lashes. I liked how they turned out, especially since it was right before New Years. I have had eyelashes before (3 times) & all other previous times they lasted a little over 1 month. I take very good care of them and have products that allow it to last longer. However, unsure why, this time around from Me Time Indulgence, they only lasted 2 weeks. Still...I was Ok with them, but prefer to go to the other places I have had them that last a full month. The glue burned a little, but nothing I couldnt handle. She does do other services, such as facials. Perhaps will be back for that, but not lashes. She took me in same day and was able to schedule over text- such a breeze! Mya's office is really comfortable and easy to relax in. The environment she sets with the music and set up really works for the room and allowed me to settle in quickly. Mya listened to my needs and met them with great care; I've had lashes before and made her aware of how and where I liked my placement- she was very respectful of my opinions and assured me that I was in good hands. She told me that she already had an idea of what she wanted to do which again, reassured me. I've spent 3 months looking for a replacement lash professional and I'm so glad I came across Mya. She explained the entire process to me as well as how to care for them properly, and also made sure she had a good idea of what I wanted done. The entire process took a little over an hour but went by quick! I had the classic synthetic mink full set done even though I normally go for a dramatic look, but I'm glad I tried that first because it looked amazing!
