I had intended on exchanging this item for a smaller size, but saw that they did not have the item in a smaller size. And accidentally left it in the return. I asked that they either return the item to me or issue a refund once they confirmed they had received it. Instead, I was told that because the item wasn't submitted through their Returns Portal, it could be considered "ineligible" and would be "donated". I understand that the mistake was mine, but I don't understand why the company couldn't simply return the item or process a refund. This response was disappointing, especially as a first-time customer, and showed very little understanding or willingness to help.

I referred 3 close family members to open consignment accounts, and each account was set up with…read morethe direct, in-person assistance of one of the store's luxury managers, who visited our home to help with setup and was present for the consignment intake on every account. Everything was done transparently and never against any policy we were told about at the time. Despite this, all 4 of our accounts were closed without explanation. We have total $850 site credits across all 4 accounts which are unused and now lost. When I raised the issue with the employee who helped set everything up and with the store manager, both told me they would help to try to get the accounts reactivated. Instead, the only response I ever received was a corporate email stating my account was closed, that I no longer had access to any services, and that I was not permitted to contact any employees or visit any store, consignment office, or pop-up location. Outrageous. To make matters worse, when my consigned shoes were returned to me, the original shoe box was badly damaged -- which affects the resale value of the item. I have before and after pictures with timestamps as proof. Luckily I also saved the message history, documenting the account setups and consignments, facilitated by their own staff. To be treated this way and to have my item's box damaged on top of it -- is unacceptable. I'd think twice before trusting this company with consigned items or referral programs.
