I paid MDT $150 via Zelle in May 2025 for a firearms cleaning and safety training session before deploying overseas. The trainer canceled the morning of the appointment due to a family emergency and promised to reschedule. He never contacted me again, and the office also stopped responding. I reached out multiple times to set a new date or request a refund--no reply, no service, and no refund. I have since reported this to the BBB, Zelle, and my military chain. I took the class, and needed to do the shooting over again as I did not meet the qualifications per NRA Rules and however that's not the requirement in MD... Mr. Walker and MDTTactics Training Group are super great at what they do. Excellent instructions. I've taken several firearms training with them in the past. Courses like Maryland HQL and Basic Pistol Shooting. Plus several private one-on-one training and just recently their Basic CCW Course. Walker was okay until it was time to be at the range then he was no joke about time. where did that come from? no working with you about being at the range. You can only be there at this time and on this day. no forewarning about you will be cut off and out for 1 or 2 minute lateness. No effs given. you have been warned. read more

Soooooo, As I said before I will say it again...If you are looking to seek training from a professional, STOP LOOKING! MDTTactics is who you want to train under. Mr Walker is authentic with his style of teaching and instructions, as well as personable. He doesn't play any games when the time comes for the CCW testing at the range though (which is well appreciated). I failed miserably, but left in good spirits to try again because of his encouraging words. He explained where I went wrong and physically showed me as well during testing. Today I successfully completed my Handgun Qualification License Training from the owner of MDTT, Mr. Walker and his assistant. The first thing I was pleased about was that after giving a 5 minute grace time, the class started on time. It was a nice size class (9 of us) and because we had everything from former military, an attorney, a retired teacher to even a minister as students, Mr. Walker did a wonderful in explaining basic gun safety for all levels.
