Almost feels like many of the reviews on here are fake. We hired them to add several new pages and landing pages to our existing website. We explicitly defined our scope of work and expected timeline to launch our website from the beginning. Many of the items we sent to David were lost in emails even after multiple rounds of Zoom calls and him recording. We worked with David and his developer, which happens to be some person outside of the US, for about 3 weeks. Eventually nothing was completed for us to launch on our existing website. After rounds of back and forth with content that we supplied and many emails asking for various items all the time, David started asking for more money and complained that wanting to launch our new pages after 3 or 4 weeks was too much for him to handle and that he was not able to work under this kind of pressure. We had no issue paying him more money as it was way cheaper to begin with (just like his service) however, it seemed like he knew he was not capable of delivering something professional after all and decided to quit. We agreed to receive our money back and part ways. Our wasted time and frustration will never get sompensated and it was clear that our time and trust to this business did not mean anything to this team. Basically zero customer service. More importantly, we really didn't appreciate the fact that they use cheap labor from some other country with language barriers and only act as a middle person. We specifically didn't want this type of service as we had interviewed several other developers on Upwork and other freelance websites, but eventually ended up getting the same level of service at a more expensive price. Basically nothing is done in house, David is just the face. Rarely inclined to leave negative reviews but unfortunately this is a fair observation based on the service that was provided to us. Worse, their geography skills are apparently non-existent--they literally put mountains on a map of Florida. Zero Project Management or Communication: There is no organized task list, no structured timeline, and virtually no meaningful communication. We had to ask for the simplest, most basic changes over and over again because nobody was paying attention to our feedback. Endless Excuses and Broken Timelines: We were initially told the project would take 6 weeks. We are now well past 10 weeks and still waiting for a usable site. All Talk, No Substance: Every time we expressed frustration, we were met with fluffy corporate buzzwords: "It's all hands on deck!" or "You are our top priority!" Blah, blah, blah. Not only did they want the full payment for the next 6 months, they are now also claiming that they never charged me for half of the web design 4 years ago and they want that too. They are refusing to release my domain name and email address which rightfully belong to me because I brought them over when I signed on. I know I paid for the design but I can't prove it because they do not send and invoices when they charge my credit card. They never send me any notifications when they automatically renew my contract. They don't send any kind to itemized account of what they are actually doing. If you are considering using NKP, please read the the contract carefully because it seems this is how they make their money and keep their customers, by trapping them with the fine print on the contract instead of delivering good work. Any company worth their while would not need to extort their customers for money with traps in a contract. I am hoping that they will do the right thing and return my domain name and email address to me.
