Especially considering that I was getting my hair ripped out, haha! I would definitely recommend her over anyone else. After thinking about getting a facial for months and months and wondering what it would be like, I…read morethought it was time to finally experience it. I was a new Grandma and almost 49 and didn't want to waste another second wondering, so I started researching salons online. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I checked Groupon first. I found some places but they didn't have very good reviews. So I kept searching and found Radiant Skin by Lauren on Yelp. I was a little leery to even get a facial because I have very sensitive skin. Even though I have oily skin it doesn't take too much of a bad product to make the skin peel off of my face like a sunburn. But after seeing all of the 5 star reviews I decided to make an appointment with Lauren, almost four weeks ago now. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I was SO HAPPY I did! The whole experience was fabulous. Her room was comfortable and clean. She used only organic products that smelled fantastic. She was gentle yet thorough as she was applying and removing the various products to/from my face. And in between the multiple processes, while my face was absorbing the natural goodness of the products and steam, she massaged my calves and feet and then arms and hands. I had no idea that came with the facial. Bonus! All while cocooned in warm fluffy blankets. I stayed awake through the whole thing because of the excitement of what was to come. I loved every minute of it and my face never peeled, just smooth tighter skin. And before I left, I scheduled my next facial, which is in a couple of days. Oh, and I almost forgot, she does a great job on eyebrows too.

UPDATE AFTER OWNER RESPONSE:…read more Thank you for taking the time to respond. I do appreciate the professionalism in your reply, and I also want to reiterate that my frustration was never truly directed at Kaila personally. My disappointment comes from the overall handling of the situation as a longtime returning customer. I completely understand that scheduling conflicts happen and that businesses have policies and time limitations. However, what was most frustrating was the lack of accountability or meaningful effort to make the situation right after the confusion occurred. As someone who has supported your business for years for special occasions like birthdays, Valentine's Day, and Mother's Day, I expected a little more customer care and consideration rather than an explanation of why the situation happened. I think what disappointed me most was that the response focused heavily on justifying the circumstances instead of acknowledging the customer experience itself. A little empathy and flexibility can go a long way in retaining loyal clients. I genuinely loved coming to Perfect Balance over the years, which is why this experience was so disappointing in the first place. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been a loyal customer of Perfect Balance Day Spa in Lodi for years and have regularly visited with my mother for occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, birthdays, and other special celebrations. Because of the positive experiences I've had in the past, I recently called a week before Mother's Day to schedule two "Slices of Heaven" services so my mother and I could treat each other for the holiday. Unfortunately, this particular experience was very disappointing. After confirming my appointment for a specific day and time, I received a call asking if I could move the appointment to 3:30 PM. I was understanding and accommodated the change without issue. Shortly after, I received another call informing me that if they were to keep the appointment, the "Oasis" portion of the service would only be provided for approximately 30 minutes instead of the full advertised hour. I politely asked whether there could be a price adjustment since the full service would not be rendered, but I was told, "Yeah, no." The receptionist, Kayla, made it seem as though she had already checked with a higher-up regarding the matter. She was polite throughout the interaction and even acknowledged that she understood my frustration and agreed that the situation did not seem right. Because of that, this review is not necessarily a reflection of Kayla personally, but rather of the management decision and lack of accommodation from whoever she had to answer to, whether that was a supervisor or the owner. I also asked whether another day could be arranged instead, but the communication felt hesitant and delayed, which ultimately led me to cancel the appointment altogether and make arrangements with Appellation aka Wine and Roses. It's unfortunate because I have genuinely supported and enjoyed this business for years. The 3 stars are for the quality of massages and prior customer service experiences I've received in the past. However, I deducted 2 stars due to the repeated scheduling changes, uncertainty, lack of accommodation, and unwillingness to provide a fair adjustment for a shortened service that could not be fully delivered as advertised. Very disappointing.

A Masterpiece of Artistry: Exquisite Acrylic Gel Nails at MD Beyond Polish I recently had the pleasure of visiting MD Beyond Polish, my trusted local nail shop in Lodi, and I was absolutely amazed by the level of artistry and skill I witnessed. From the moment I stepped into the salon, I was greeted with warm smiles and a level of professionalism that set the stage for an extraordinary experience. If I could, I would give them more than 5 stars for their outstanding customer service. One of the aspects that truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional craftsmanship displayed by the talented nail technician Danny. I opted for a brand new set of full acrylic gel nails, complete with a complex and intricate design. Danny's attention to detail and artistic vision were truly commendable. He carefully and meticulously brought my vision to life, transforming my nails into a masterpiece of artistry that surpassed all expectations. The level of skill and expertise demonstrated by Danny was truly remarkable. From the selection of high-quality products to the flawless application of the acrylic gel, every step was executed with precision and care. The complex design I had chosen was flawlessly brought to life, with each intricate detail perfectly executed. I have never seen my nails look so stunning and unique before. Moreover, the dedication to providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience was evident throughout my visit. Despite the complexity of the design, I never felt rushed or hurried. Danny took the time to ensure that every aspect of the process was executed to perfection, all while making me feel relaxed and pampered. I wholeheartedly recommend MD Beyond Polish to anyone seeking an extraordinary nail care experience. Whether you desire a brand new set of full acrylic gel nails with a complex design or any other nail service, this salon is unparalleled in their artistry and professionalism. Prepare to be amazed by the attention to detail and the exceptional skill that sets MD Beyond Polish apart from the rest. My visit to MD Beyond Polish was an unforgettable experience. The friendly atmosphere, combined with the exceptional artistry and expertise of Danny, left me with a set of acrylic gel nails that can only be described as a true work of art. I encourage everyone to experience the unparalleled talent and dedication at MD Beyond Polish; you will be amazed by the results. read more

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Beyond Polish. I was assigned to a technician who was clearly inexperienced and handled my pedicure roughly, leaving my toenails painfully uneven and cut far too short. It was so bad that another technician had to step in and redo the polish to try and salvage the situation. Even he admitted that it still looked messy because of how badly the nails were cut and polish got on my skin and unfortunately, they were too short to fix properly. The entire experience was uncomfortable and frustrating. I spent a significant amount of time waiting for the corrections, and ultimately, they ran out of time to complete the full service, meaning I missed out on the massage and any relaxing aspect of the appointment. To make matters worse, the original technician who messed up my pedicure stood nearby and watched as the second technician tried to fix his work, making the whole situation feel even more uncomfortable and awkward. When I brought this up with the owner, hoping they'd offer a meaningful resolution, I was told that they couldn't provide a refund because the technician had "spent time" working on me, as if my own time and discomfort didn't matter. Instead, they offered me a $10 discount or a free color change for my next visit, which doesn't begin to compensate for the time, money, and frustration I spent on such a poor experience. As a loyal customer since 2019, I expected to be treated with more respect and care, especially after such a botched service. If Beyond Polish continues to assign inexperienced technicians to loyal clients, they're bound to lose more business. This experience left me feeling undervalued and disappointed, and while I even tipped the technician out of courtesy, I left feeling far worse than when I walked in. read more

If you're not a big spender like evettexo you're trash to them. Hair people and all. Made an appointment and waited to v only to be told that she was busy with a client. Evette. Wouldn't you know. The locally famous makeup artist and blogger. No shade I love evette and faithfully watch her Channel and ig. She just has money and clout and that's what beyond polish is about. Not customer service unless you've got money or look like you've got money. Same with the lookmoregirgeous lady there. Atmosphere would be bomb if the techs were remotely nice or even humble. Nice place. Clean. Beautiful. I mean everything except real customer service. But hey those weathly ones pay the bills. Not me who's willing to pay the same amount and tip well too. Guess I'll find a place I don't need that ig fame or lv bags to get service. read more
