First words out of his mouth "if you want these installed they should be inside". As this is obvious but I'm only one person, I told him I couldn't do it by myself and that his boss told me he'd do it himself but I offered to help him anyway then as we go in he proceeded to complain about toilets being upstairs. If he doesn't like the job he WAS going to be paid for then don't accept it. Oh he also didn't have the proper tools to do the job. Told him nevermind we are good and he left immediately didn't question why. Also broke my toilet even more to where it's unusable. Only problem with it was it was running. He broke the over flow tube at the base so now my toliet runs even more and doesn't even fill up.

He repaired and painted our ceiling that had a water stain from a roof leak, and he repaired and painted our side of the wall by our stairs. The ceiling and the wall by the stairs looks flawless-like new! He carefully matched the paint to the rest of the ceiling and walls and painted everything with such care. Mr. Richard Barragan shows up on time, works diligently, and has very reasonable and fair prices. I hired this contractor thru Home Advisor. Those people haven't done anything. I had water damage…read morefrom a water heater leak. The company that extracted the water from the hall and partial in 2 bedrooms and the water heater room made holes in the wall to dry and one room a portion of the wall had to be removed along with the baseboard. There were holes in the hallway by the third bedroom and by the bathroom. This contractor came to my home to see and what I needed. He wrote me a proposal with labor, materials and paint. What areas that needed repair and painted. I even told him to pain the hallway. The first day he came patched up the holes and primed them. He said he would come back the next day. He left the one bedroom floor full of primer. I put a tarp that I purchased at Home Depot. It was all over the floor. He came back the next day. He finished painting fast. He wouldn't put the baseboard on. How can you leave one side of the wall without baseboard the rest with baseboard. He saw all of this when came. He told me if I wanted baseboard I would have to pay extra $35 to go get it because there was no Home Depot close. There is one close. Then he said he didn't carry anything to measure or to cut. I told him I have a measuring tape and Home Depot will cut the wood for you. He then got angry at me and told me if I didn't like it to go get it myself and he was finished and wanted his money. I told him no because his job wasn't finished. Will he went to get the board. I paid him everything that is on the invoice and he said didn't have receipts either. He was making this unpleasant. For what reason I don't know why. The tarps I purchased to help him, he kicked them in my bathroom and left them there. He didn't ask if where he could throw them away or if he didn't like them. Nothing. I have a large trash can outside. He just left them and I paid him and he left. The carpet guy came to clean the carpet and opened the water heater room, my god what was this guy thinking? He painted the walls that were so streaky and the baseboards were left with the old color and paint all over floor and paint that dripped on the baseboard. I cried. There was a hole made in the wall by the baseboard the guy that extracted the water made to dry. That was not patched or filled in. I sent pictures to Home Advisor. I do not recommend him. He disrespected me by the way he talked to me in my home. He scared me. I did call the police because I called home advisor and the lady told me to call the authorities if he scared me. but my mom said let him get the board and finish so he can leave. The police did offer to send someone. The police said if he starts up when he comes back call right away. He put the baseboard and I paid him. He left mad. I didn't dream he would of left this water heater area the way he did. The unfilled hole is visible. As I said what did he think. He told me at one point he ran out of paint. I offered to get it but he said he would get it for me. I was glad. Things look worse now than before he came. It's horrible. He never cleaned up before he left. It was so dirty. He even left the water heater with paint. I offered to cover it but he said would take care of everything. I felt assured. Big mistake. I'm very disappointed and upset. He wasn't taking home advisors calls until today. So I was asked to send pictures thru email which I did. Now I have to pay someone else to repair his mess.

We recently purchased an older home and had many items to be completed including a room additional (wall) that made the loft into a bedroom upstairs. We were extremely pleased with his estimates, expertise, friendliness, and professionalism. Vincent and his staff spent a week at our house. We felt very comfortable with him and his staff being in the house for that long period of time - that rarely happens with any contractor. Vincent arrived on-time every day, spent some time informing us what his plan and daily goals were and delivered on those goals. Also, what's more important is his customer service. One instance, I noticed the electrical outlook wasn't exactly were I wanted after the wall was done and he came in next day to move it, no questions asked. That's true definition of service and making the customer happy. We decided to do several more repairs and tasks with him and ultimately his fine attention to detail (we're very picky) helped make our home beautiful. Thank you so much Vincent! We will definitely use him in the future again. I'll try and submit photos this week. Paul & Shelly
