Thank you to Dr. Omino and his wonderful staff for changing my life!…read more They worked so hard to make sure a crucial medication that was initially denied by my insurance got approved to treat my condition. I recognize the amount of time and effort it took to get my necessary medication approved, so thank you. They were extremely attentive and flexible with my schedule as well, as I am a very busy student myself. Every time I visited, Dr. Omino took the time to really explain all my options and answered all my questions. He took my symptoms seriously and never once dismissed me. He thought outside the box and ensured he did a full diagnostic work up for all potential diagnoses. I am so incredibly grateful for Dr. Omino's endless advocacy that truly makes a difference in not only my life, but all of his patients' lives.

HORRIBLE!!!! I was seen in the ER on Thursday, taken by ambulance, made the appointment that day…read moreand they couldn't give me an appt until Wenesday (which is today) and they sent me a text yesterday afternoon telling me they are out of network and canceled my appointment. I have a PPO with out of network coverage through Aetna so I called them and they said they dont take Aetna at all and was rude about it and hung up. So now Im back to square one, will take at least a week to get in to another Dr since they gave.me absolutely no notice and in the meantime I can not walk, on crutches, and in a lot of pain. Im going to need an MRI delaying diagnosis even longer. THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE AND DO NOT CARE. They sho I ld have told me this when I made the appointment, they obtained my insurance information and instead made me wait a week to tell me the day before and didnt care. The Dr's are probably about as good as their staff. Dont waste your time with these people because literally thats what you will do, waste your time

Work up to a CT Scan with contrast by doing 2 other scans that cost 2000+ each. When we both know the CT Scan with contrast is what I need. Blatant medical laziness. They LOVE WASTING YOUR MONEY!!! Do not go here if you have a car that can make it to thousand oaks. Administrative staff was very kind.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Takeda for a specific medication-related concern while my…read moreregular physician was out of the country. During the visit, it became clear that Dr. Takeda was unable or unwilling to help with my medication, which ultimately made the appointment unproductive for the issue I was seeking help with due to my pcp being gone for 4 weeks. What I found frustrating was that this was not communicated before the appointment or at the beginning of the appointment. Had I known that the medication could not be addressed during the visit, I could have explored other options sooner. I was later informed that other providers within the practice may have been able to assist, but this information was not provided until after significant discussion. The office staff was courteous and professional throughout the process. My concern is with the coordination of care and communication regarding medication when a primary physician is unavailable for 4 weeks. Patients should have clear guidance about available options and continuity of care, especially when appointments are scheduled for a specific purpose and half of the providers are only working 3 days a week.

My first visit went well, I had heard mixed opinions about him but my experience was really good. He was very nice and personable. The office staff is great! Very professional, prompt with scheduling, great with returning calls, and helpful with getting my authorization issues resolved. (Thank you Sunny!) I scheduled my colonoscopy for the following month and that went well (as unpleasant as they are) Dr. Amadpour was very kind and I like his bedside manner. And I loved the surgical center - great staff and location! Highly recommend!

My GP sent Dr. Moe to take over--something that, in retrospect, saved my life. Without going into personal details, Dr Amadpour had a hunch I had a certain manageable condition while other ER docs disagreed. Had they won out, the treatment likely would have been very detrimental to me, then and into the future. My 2-star rating has NOTHING to do with Dr. A and everything to do with his miserable practice staff. With tragically few exceptions, they are ICE COLD. You can't get a friendly worker EVER. They seem unhappy to be there, unwilling to treat patients with care and compassion. Trying calling for ANY reason. It ALWAYS goes to voicemail and those calls are ignored. I tried time and again to get my records forwarded to a new GI doc where I now live. No returned calls. Period. I even FAXED the request and never heard back. I cannot more highly recommend DOCTOR Amadpour. Sadly, you have to go through his PRACTICE to reach him. For this patient, it stopped being worth the abuse.
