During his time here, we contacted our insurance company to file a claim which was initiated within 20 minutes with a representative over the phone. Since Oscar was present, it facilitated communication. Oscar gave us a two-hour window between 8am and 10am and said that we should expect to receive a call from dispatch informing us that they are on their way. He also took a series of pictures before he left so that he could inform the crew of the events that transpired. On Saturday, January 20th, the mitigation crew removed a portion of the engineered flooring that was affected and promptly placed industrial fans on and around it. They informed us that they would be back to pick up the equipment (in 4 days) after the area has completely dried and answered any questions we had. Kris, Sheldon, Gabriel, and Oscar were professional and knowledgeable - explaining everything about the process and I appreciate the time and patience they took on a Saturday morning to help us. I liked the quote so we arranged for his crew to come out on Friday. They showed up in the afternoon with the first crew to start cutting the tree down. Then another crew come in with the chipper. These guys really knew what they were doing! It did not take them very long to get a 35-40 foot tree cut down. So while guys were cutting the tree down, others were sending the cuttings through the chipper. Then came the stomp grinder! Guys were cleaning up the lawn and blowing the street while that was going on. Very efficient! When it was all done only a small mount of mulch was where the tree was and a clean lawn and street. Ther are many, many other things I could mention. The project took over eight months instead of the four promised, with work gaps of days and sometimes weeks. I met with the PM three times to create a timeline, but they fell behind every time. The only reason he gave was schedule conflicts with other jobs. One positive: Guillermo and Jose were responsive and fully guaranteed their work. They made sure I was satisfied with the end product before ending the project.
