McMullin Plumbing is by far the best plumber I have ever used. Professional, on time, and a gentleman to do business with. My main sewer had a broken pipe and there were roots growing in it that could not be snaked out. There was no alternative than a seemingly costly repair. I had gotten a quote from another well known plumbing company, and they realized my situation was rather desperate, and their quote was literally four times higher than the very reasonable quote I got from McMullin Plumbing. I called Bill based upon the previous 2 reviews and was not at all disappointed. Bill responded quickly and identified the problem. He offered a Band-Aid solution if I wanted one, but I opted for a permanent fix. Bill quoted me a price which I felt was extremely reasonable. He came back the next day, as promised, and installed the new bathroom / shower plumbing. He picked the new fixtures on his own and my wife was extremely pleased with his choice. He also cleans up after he's finished. I highly recommend Bill to anyone who wants a straight shooter that does an excellent job for a very reasonable price. The reviews didn't lie. I called 4 local plumbers about replacing a hot water heater. Bill was very competitive, but the real benefit was his attention to detail. He noticed just from pictures that I sent that our second hot water heater was a bad DIY job and identified several potential safety hazards. The gas line was not connected properly and the vent pipe was installed incorrectly. He came by for a free consultation, and ultimately agreed to fix the other items for the same price as the original quote. McMullin plumbing was recommended by our plumber for an excavation repair to our gas line. This could have been a multi thousand dollar job, but he noticed the material from the meter and said it might indicate a transition in the line, and so they started there. Lo and behold that is where the leak was. He and his helper repaired it and had the dig filled on a Sunday before the rain started to fall. He could have sold us on anything since we don't know gas plumbing, but instead, we had the best of all possible scenarios. When your plumber recommends a plumber you know they've got to be good. I highly recommend. Polite and professional. Explained all possible hidden expenses before hand. Was early and called 30 minutes prior to let me know. A very pleasant experience. I requested quotes from four Yelp service providers...this company was straight forward and honest. The outdoor spigot replacement is gorgeous and all was completed in under 3 hours. An invoice was sent to pay by credit card online. (I do wish PayPal was an option...the invoice would not connect to any of my banks, lol. I got it done though.) These guys always do a great job. I have used them for about ten years. Occasionally we get into trouble around here with plumbing like we did the other day (a faucet was so rusted, corroded, and stripped because of the humidity that we couldn't get it out, angle valve was broken and leaking, was a huge mess). This was all due to a botched install from a big box store and just old, decayed fixtures from the early 90's. We called McMullin and they came in and fixed everything up for a reasonable price. Had a water heater leak, and I called McMullin Plumbing based off these reviews. I was not disappointed. Bill correctly diagnosed exactly the problem over the phone. He explained to me how the part should be covered under warranty and told me that he could handle all of that before making the trip to my home. I called Mr. McMullin and he answered right away. I had a leak and had MLG&W come out the night before and cut off my water because I could hear water leaking in a wall. Even though he had taken the day off to attend personal business, when he found out I had no water he came over to at least to see if he could find the problem. I texted this morning regarding a leaky sink faucet. He had a small window this afternoon that he was free. He was so nice, explained everything he was doing and let me watch so I would know for future problems. He showed up early, quickly fixed the problem and charged me less than he quoted because it was easy fix for him. Often trades people keep you waiting and run up the bull when they can.
