He's unlicensed, unqualified, and a con man.** Exercise extreme caution when contemplating Jason Terry for any contract work. My friend encountered a series of negative experiences, including: - Demolished house - Thousands spent on materials never purchased - Over $20,000 in unfinished work - Incomplete projects - Constant excuses - Poor craftsmanship - Fake project images on his Facebook page - Biased family-only reviews - Dubious money requests without accountability - False claims of being a licensed and insured contractor - Fictitious credentials in architectural design and electrical journeyman - Unauthorized wall damage - Deciding designs without checking in - Failure to pay for a dumpster - Non-installation of kitchen cabinets - Multiple other unfinished PAID projects - Incomplete work despite months passing and taking on other jobs - Refusal to return the house key or refund money Additionally, Jason Terry made false claims about a break-in at the property to avoid work, stating he called the police, but investigation revealed he never did, and no such incident occurred. The arrangement was that Jason would complete a set amount of work each month and get paid. It worked well, as my friend agreed to pay him a fixed amount monthly. Since Jason was a one-man show and the entire house needed renovation, my friend was slightly flexible with timelines. However, after multiple suspicious incidents listed above since May 2023, 2-3 months of literally no work passed while Jason took money towards unpaid projects and urgently requested money for supplies that he would buy " immediately" to complete work. Jason "apologized" and claimed he'd spend a lot of time at the house. However, a month passed, and still, zero work was done. Not only this, but things that were paid for months ago are still not fully complete. Nothing is done despite Jason being paid for labor and having the supplies. When my friend confronted him and warned of legal action while sticking to the facts, Jason reversed victim-perpetrator roles, accused him of defamation (it's not defamation if true!), falsely accused him of threats (the only warning was a lawsuit), claimed that "there is no limit to the time to complete a job" (not true if Jason agreed on a specific timeframe), and ceased communication. If considering hiring Jason Terry for any contract work, seek legal counsel to protect your interests. Evidence of his subpar work and unethical practices can be provided upon request. Spread the word about Jason Terry to prevent others from facing similar negative outcomes. My friend, a veteran with PTSD and a mother with terminal cancer, is extremely stressed. He saved for months to update his house and had no idea someone could treat others so poorly and ruin their home. Jason Terry doesn't deserve any veteran's business! @Quinn M. Mann usually solicits work for him in this group. Don't trust her either; she and other family members wrote fake reviews on his business page. **Images:** - Unfinished bathroom showcasing subpar, crooked work (this is just one thing; the entire house is destroyed!) - Google image stolen by Jason Terry for his business page
