When he came to my house and explained the process to me, he informed me he would work with the insurance company directly if needed. He made it a point to meet the insurance inspector at my home during the inspection to make sure the inspector caught everything. Lone Ranger Roofing replaced my roof quickly and took care of all details, especially the clean up, not one nail was found. The job was about 5 to 6 hours, start to finish. I truly believe this service was above and beyond, I highly recommend Lone Ranger Roofing. We hired the Pro Crew to paint our house, redo a lot of rotted siding, fix some holes, and rebuild our chimney. Projects we had been meaning to do for a LONG time, and the house was in ROUGH shape. Amazing work. Great prices. Super friendly. Got a quote right away, and go the work done pretty fast too. Very, very happy. I especially wanted to right them a review, because they mentioned they are doing a lot of work for flippers, who aren't really motivated to right reviews for the people they hire, cause it's not their own home. Which I think is kind of a bummer, because it makes them look like a "new" business your having to test out, and that's not really the case here. They are very experienced. The only thing you might need to be prepared for is that communication is not great: when they were coming, what they were working on, etc. was not always clear. They were very responsive when we messaged them though, so if your the kind of person who needs more info, just plan to be proactive. We will FOR SURE be using them for our bathroom and kitchen remodels, and anything else we can think of honestly. Can't recommend them enough.

He said it was just soot and someone from the office would contact me to reschedule because he would not be returning. After waiting all afternoon, I texted a 2nd number the company had contacted me from and said I had safety concerns about our fireplace not being clean, but I received no response. I sent another text next day with no response. I contacted them several times through our Yelp messaging over the next couple of days, stating safety concerns and not being able to use the fireplace until we spoke with them, contacted them through their website form, and also left two courteous voicemail messages for their office letting them know we had safety concerns and asked for assistance. I had zero response to all of my efforts. I emailed and let them know I would be filing a complaint with the BBB and still received no response. I hired another company to come clean the fireplace and not only did he clean out a massive amount of soot and creosote left behind, he was stunned to find that the prior serviceman left his plastic brush and pole stuck up in the chimney. He gave it to me and I identified it as the brush the 1st Choice serviceman was using, as it was distinctive and particularly flimsy, which I noticed at the beginning of the clean. Things happen and if he had explained that his pole broke off and that he would have to come back with tools to get it out and finish cleaning, we could have moved forward. The basis for liability under negligence stems from an individual's failures to behave with the level of care that someone of ordinary prudence would have exercised under the same circumstances. He knowingly put our home and our personal safety at risk with a smoke and fire hazard, and that is egregious. It took months to settle our claim with our credit card company and get our money back. I've had time to consider my review and to post the facts without heightened emotion. Not cleaning the fireplace well and not returning calls for assistance is enough for a bad review but purposeful negligence is grounds for not being allowed to do business in this industry. The business office of this company has no excuse for failure to respond.

My house inspector, Todd Arnold re-walked my roof and confirmed my suspicion that the roof needed to be replaced due to some severe storms. I got several bids. With the exception of Gillmeister Roofing, all of the other contractors indicated it would be a 4-6 month wait for shingles. (I wanted Class 4, 30-year OC Weatherguard HP shingles to withstand heat and wind). The Gillmeisters hopped right on ordering the shingles with a prepayment by me. The shingles were received and installed in four weeks from the placement of the order. Wahoooo! While waiting for the shingles to come in, two more high-wind storms passed through, and shingles went flying. Kyle Gillmeister came out and replaced 20 shingles on my roof, to hold me until the new roof could be installed. That was above and beyond. * The crew, led by Hector, came in, did a great job with the removal, sheathing prep, and new shingle install. It was pristine when they were done - it was as if they had never been there.
