So the start of this project was delayed from the beginning. Then they never showed up in time. Sometimes they paused for days. They started in the beginning of June and finished in August. Now two years after that , some boards are coming down and since they only stained the wood , we are dealing with black mold. We called the company and they came and took a look. Then the owner later wrote, there is no warranty , since it was caused by water damage, coming from the roof, which is not true! We got an inspection from USAA 3 days later and they could not find any damage from water and the roof has only minor loss of sanding . After that we called another company to take a look and they said the work they did is low quality. Boards were lose because at some point they were not nailed properly or not nailed at all. Also the staining should not allow black mold after only 2 years! We are done with this company. Also the whole project was extremely overpriced.

Jeff Jones counseled us through the replacement process, and we agreed to go with a reputable roofing manufacturer--and even upgraded the materials. He also worked directly with our insurance company and represented us exceptionally well. All promises were fulfilled right down to the finest details. The job foreman, Rick Endruschat, was on site throughout, ensuring the work was done properly. Even our screens were replaced, and the patio roofing subcontractor they brought in was absolutely amazing. A special thank you to James Kuntz and the Company for being a member/sponsor of CAI that led us to choose Tarrytown Roofing to complete our job. We would highly recommend this five-star company. If you're looking for a roofing contractor who is professional, dependable, and stands by their word, don't hesitate to contact Tarrytown Roofing Company--you'll be glad you did.

Ironically, I was actually planning to leave this company a five-star review. My interactions with them were pleasant, and they came across as friendly and professional. That changed when I was forwarded their report. Along with it, I inadvertently received internal communication that I was clearly not intended to see. In that communication, the company president wrote, "You know homeowners, when it is their responsibility, the story takes on a life of its own." I was genuinely shocked to read that, especially coming from the president of the company. As a homeowner simply trying to determine why water was entering my home, it completely changed my perception of how my concerns were being viewed. Because I was already undergoing interior water mitigation, I hired my own contractor at my own expense to perform controlled water testing. The testing identified the source of the water intrusion and ruled out the window itself as the cause. The findings did not align with the assumptions reflected in the president's internal communication. Homeowners place a great deal of trust in companies based on their reputation and reviews. My experience reminded me that what customers see publicly may not always reflect the conversations taking place privately. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Professionalism is measured not only by how a company speaks to its customers, but also by how it speaks about them when it believes they are not listening.
