A leak in a skylight replaced 6 years ago required immediate attention. Received 3 separate quotes. Neely was the highest of the three quotes. A previous contractor told me that the screws on my metal roof had deteriorated due to being thirty years old. They replaced the worst ones and some missing ones. I could not afford to get all of them done because their estimate was over 6k. I found screws ALL over my yard after they were done. When they returned to fix a piece they had replaced but forgot to cut, they advised me that I had better get the screws replaced pretty quickly because it was a miracle the roof wasn't leaking. I called Neely Roofing and Rick, the owner, personally came out a few days later. He checked the roof and gave me a much better estimate than the previous contractor. He also explained everything about metal roofing and repairs. He had his crew out within a day and they finished in less than two days. I didn't find one single screw in my yard, which was very helpful for my OCD. I searched and searched and couldn't find one! Rick also has videos/photos of any additional problems they find, so you can make an informed decision about repairs without having to get on the roof yourself. Mr Neely came out and inspected the roof and fixed the situation in the spot. My husband was here and really really liked the guy. We have not had any leaks since. Neely Roofing has installed new roofs on my previous home, six unit and duplex rental properties (Marble Falls and Burnet), and my Mother's home (Georgetown) after each had suffered hail damage. Working with Rick and Chris has been a very positive experience each time. Good communication with me and my insurance company to be sure everything that should be covered is paid in the claim. Very fair pricing for replacing some old decking that had rotted from previous roof leaks and was not covered. Pictures provided when I was not able to get there to inspect damage. Quality work done in a timely fashion. Examples of great service: Months after installing new roofs on my six unit property Rick called to inform me that while driving by he noticed some tree limbs that were beginning to hit the roof on a couple of units. Rather than just informing me he had already gotten on the roofs and trimmed the limbs. I really appreciated Rick watching out for my property and taking care of it. I was more than willing to pay for his time but when I asked about it he said there was no charge and would just appreciate me keeping him in mind for any future needs. While working on my duplex I asked Rick to inspect another rental property I have nearby. This property had an old roof with minor hail damage from several years earlier. I had decided not to replace the roof at the time and thought it might need to be done. Rick reported the roof should be good for several years and that he had sealed pits in a few shingles and around a couple of vent pipes. As before there was no charge for this extra service. I highly recommend Neely Roofing and plan to use them to install a new roof on my current home in Cedar Park when it has to be done. This was a HUD foreclosure with some minor hail damage. Chris inspected the roof when we purchased the home and again at no charge sealed a valley that appeared to be leaking over a bedroom that had water stains on the ceiling. read more
