The technician answering the telephone was very pleasant. He gave me a choice of times. The initial time was later that same day I called! Another time was given in the event that the technician was unable to make the timeframe I first chose. The technician then later called to ask if he could come early!!! YES! He came out, explained thoroughly what the code mean and what he felt the issue was and fixed it immediately. He also explained another issue the code could mean but thought that it was only the fan issue and not a coolant issue. So he fixed it quickly and ensured I knew to call him should the issue reappear. I was very pleased with the honesty and integrity of the men in this company. They chose to do their business in honesty, not overcharging for service not necessary. Because I am an older woman, many companies seem to try to take advantage and overcharge. NOT THIS COMPANY!!! I'm giving it a bit of time to make sure the repair holds, but so far things seem fine. That said, I do have two concerns: Everything was done via text. The booking, estimate, and payment were all handled by text message. While that's certainly convenient, it also made the whole experience feel a bit impersonal. I'm not old, but I still value some human contact and connection with the company I'm hiring. The tipping prompt felt inappropriate. When I went to pay the invoice, there was an option to add a tip for the repair tech on top of the quoted price. I really dislike this practice. Restaurant servers depend on tips as part of their income; repair technicians should be paid an adequate salary by the company, without the customer being nudged to subsidize their pay. In short, I appreciate that Andy Duck Repair addressed the issue, but I hope they'll reconsider how they handle customer interaction and tipping in the future.

We were able to get an appointment scheduled for 3 days out with less than 30 minutes of interaction via text message. Our appointment was this morning and Jeremy texted me when he was 30 minutes out. He was communicative, prompt, and efficient. He was able to remove the dishwasher door and identify the area that was discharging this mysterious substance.
