Then we found Mike. He does great work and I feel was very reasonably priced. He was there the same day we called to quote us at no charge and started working the next day on our septic tank. The price estimates given on the phone when you call, "Affordable" Septic Services are NOT the price you will probably end up paying. Like the other Yelp postings warned, the price increases occur while they are on site and at a point where it would be difficult to stop the work. They even raise the price on jobs that are done preventively where there have been NO PROBLEMS!! The person answering the phone reassured me the price our size septic tank would be the estimated price and would not be raised like other yelpers had reported. According to the job foreman-there apparently are "always issues" found, so they raise the price AFTER the holes are dug. Based on our experience, It appears you can't really get the actual price they will charge you before the work has already started and there are big holes in your yard! We have had NO PROBLEMS EVER with our septic after buying the house. NO PROBLEMS ! It has worked PERFECTLY !! We told the person on the phone this before the crew arrived and told the crew that showed up. When they dug two big holes and uncovered the two openings to the septic tank, they FOUND NO PROBLEMS!! They asked when it was last pumped and we told them we were not sure but we had not pumped it in the past 6 years, AFTER THEY DUG THE TWO BIG HOLES IN THE YARD, AND FOUND NO PROBLEMS, THEY TOLD US THEY WERE GOING TO CHARGE $175 MORE THAN THE PRICE THEY HAD ORIGINALLY TOLD US FOR THE JOB BECAUSE WE HAD NOT FOLLOWED THE NATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS TO PUMP EVERY 5 YEARS. I have worked with Billy Bell on four separate occasions for four separate issues. He is the best…read moreplumber I have ever worked with. My family has a houseboat at Lanier. We were having issues with our waste tanks not getting pumped out fully because there was a blockage between the tanks. After having the marina plumber, Pootoon, and another plumber all try and fail, and tell me that I had to replace the tanks, i was at my wits en. I happened to drive by Billys office and called him. He came out himself, explained the problem in clear English and met me at a boat ramp and fixed my problem for a reasonable price. The next time was when our septic stopped up. Again, he came out himself, immediately and got it fixed. Last month, we had an issue with backup in our bunkhouse. When we bought the house, the original septic inspector couldn't find the septic tank to the barn and he brought a super long camera and charged hundreds of dollars but never found it. Billys crew found it very quickly and had to pump it, fix the top of it and install a new drain field. thats expensive. But I asked a contractor how much it would cost with his plumber and he quoted me $3000 more than Billy charged me. This most recent visit was because the supply line to my jacuzzi tub failed and flooded my basement. We called Billy and came out after hours, figured out the issue and got us with a great restoration company. I really can't say enough good things about Billy Bell and his people. They are reasonable, nice, professional, and they know what they are doing. At this point, I wouldn't call anyone else if I have another plumbing problem.

They then hand me a contract for nearly $1000. Stupid me signed it cause I already out $350 for sevice fee. It turns out all they did was put in 2 elbows and 1 foot of pex pipe. Jeez...I was robbed. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else, and look for no sevice fee or at least a reasonable amount, if the hand you a contract before work is done remember you can say no.
