Well where do i start, this place was a experience let me tell ya. From the internet team to the sales expert, Phu Dang to the Sales manager Branden, to the finance manager we signed papers with. I have never experienced this type awesome hospitality ever at a car dealership in California, let alone Texas. Moved her in January and bouts this beaut. Majority of my experience was texting with Phu and telling him my situation. He told me not to worry, you will be leaving with a fine deal no matter how long it takes. It took 2 weeks to Finally make a deal happen and drive off with a car. From Numerous cars to numerous banks, McGavock got it done. I mean incentive on top of incentive given and when asked by the sales manager how we dropped the ball, I told him and he was very professional and wanting to help and made the deal even better. I was advised to restart my credit that th is deal would be great for me. So after two weeks and a text, I decided it was time to make the deal and so I did. I would totally recommend this place if your needing a new car, used or just reading it in. McGavock will find the time and help to get you in a beaut like mine. I dropped my truck off there because the check engine light came on, AT light came on, and the vehicle went into limp mode. When I picked my vehicle up they said they cleared the codes and could not get any codes to come back up, fair enough. I also noticed that my dash cam was unplugged and my truck has oil splattered all over it. I am extremely disappointed and under no circumstances will I return there. read more

This dealership would get 5 stars except for the games being played in finance. The gentleman in finance (Adam) pulled a fast one on my wife's vehicle purchase. Really irritates us because now we have to deal with another detail. After myself and my wife letting Adam know that she does NOT WANT ANYTHING EXTRA on our contract being financed through Nissan. He threw a $900 charge into our contract that we did not catch since we were sure he understood NOTHING EXTRA and we repeated this to him more than 15 times. Wife looked it over yesterday and BAM he put it in there WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. We will be on the phone with his boss today. Now let me say the rest of the dealership was great. Our salesman COLBY was the best. AND we purchased my new Frontier from him the week before. Take your lawyer into finance to protect yourself at any dealership. Cavender Nissan. I bought a Nissan Armada August 10, 2023. Bought the "Ultimate Protection Plan" that includes tires and rims protection. Wed Nov 1 I noticed a screw in my front tire drivers side. Under 3000 miles on the Armada/tire. I Drove to the dealer and showed the service dept. I was told they couldn't patch because it was too close to the sidewalk and they'd have to submit for approval to replace it. Friday Nov 3 I hadn't heard anything so I stopped by the service dept again. They had no record of my previous visit. I told them I didn't feel safe driving with a screw in my tire so they put the spare on. I gave them another copy of my protection plan. On Monday I tried to call. You can't call the service dept. directly, you have to go through a central switch board. They put me on hold and said the service dept had not received approval and they would call me when they do. So now it's 5 days, I'm driving with no spare. What good is the tire protection plan if you can't get a tire? I paid over a $1000 dollars for an ultimate protection plan with tire protection that is useless. Ridiculous to wait nearly a week for a tire so I can drive my $70,000 Armada. read more

***UPDATE - 19APR23*** The service was great, however the policies at Cavender are less to be desired. When they took over for McGavick Nissan, they canceled my service plan. Not cool. Not only would they not honor my service plane from McGavick, but they did not even have the decency to explain why or talk to me in person. I could only talk to the service rep, at least she was very helpful and nice. This new company, Cavender, is really sub-prime in my eyes. Felt like I was dealing with a "Used Car Dealership". I have very mixed feelings about coming back here. I'm a pretty loyal customer having bought 4 vehicles in the past 10 years from this location under 3 different owners, but now with Cavender, it might be time to find a new car dealer. read more

They messaged me an hour before appt just to make sure still coming to see it. Told them it was an hour drive and was on my way. Got there and was told they didn't have the car they scheduled me for, then tried to sell me on something else. Just a bunch of baiters. Took off work half a day so lost pay and all the toll roads. I wanted to trade cars and so I stopped by this location to look at an Altima. Colby Terry met me a the door and was the best car salesman I have ever met. He was kind and answered all of my questions. He took me on the best test drive I have ever been on actually letting me experience all the conditions I would have in the car if it were mine. We drove on the highway, through the neighborhood, tested the braking capacity etc. He never made me feel pressured to purchase and answered all my questions. I honestly had no intentions of purchasing the Nissan as my previous experiences with Nissan dealerships in DFW had been less than desirable. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this was a new owner and a family owned business. Colby introduced me to Zach Palton and Brayden Rose and they went above and beyond to find the right vehicle for me. After finding the best option for me I was still unsure and left for the evening. They were kind and let me know I was welcome to come back. I did my research that night and felt great going back the next day to make the purchase. CAVENDERS IS A JOKE! SCAMMERS! Stay away!!! They say my rotors need to be resurfaced and will be $320. I come back with a scheduled appointment, the employee has no idea why I'm there and have to explain everything to them again. I then get a call an hour later from them saying that the brake pads and rotors are good and not sure why that technician said they need resurfacing. But it doesn't end there. I try to call them for 30 minutes but no one will answer the phone, so I show up to pick up my car to which no employee acknowledges me nor asks if I need help, I finally had to chase someone down, they sent me to the wrong department, I go to the correct department, but they can't find my car for 20 minutes!!!! When he does find it he says, oh wait the rotors do need to be resurfaced and will be 4 hours. But it gets worse. I don't want to lose any more time than what has already been wasted so they proceed. 5 hours later I go to pick up my car and they did extra work beyond what was quoted to me without my approval and charge me almost $500!!!!! WHAT A SCAM!!!! The most incompetent and unethical experience I've ever had. Now I know why this place keeps changing ownership. Scam! Scam! Scam! read more

It was about time that I upgraded to an SUV from a sedan when I found my future Pathfinder online. The perfect vehicle on the first page was a strong enough sign that I needed to make an appointment to test drive the car. I made an appointment with Andy and was in the showroom in less than an hour. His knowledge of Nissan, wisdom of sales, and gumption to work the best deal possible for me led to the purchase of the vehicle the very next day. He made it very clear what my costs were and managed to get the most value out of my trade-in. Typically I always sell my owned vehicle to the end consumer but I decided with the price they offered and eliminating the hassle of me fixing up my Sonata and selling it outright that the offer was too good to pass up. I loved my Sonata and was quite bummed to let her go but I found another car that checked every box and looks pretty awesome to boot. Karen, in finance, was also amazing - despite the running joke about "Karens" these days. She was sweet, kind, vivacious, and very well versed in finance so anything I was ignorant or naïve of she took the time to explain. Along with the great conversation outside of the purchase deal, both Andy and Karen provided a genuine interest and care to help me acquire my 2019 Pathfinder. I'll give two starts for the car is beautiful I bought this all by phone so I didn't get to test drive, but I drove the car for 5 minutes and the warning light starts the front drivers light is out and has to be put in the shop and the light never goes off so it was on when they had it. Not that big a deal to fix just a pain. Then I go to tag my car and they asked me not to date the paperwork so they could date it when I actually received the car but to my surprise!!! I go to tag it and they dated the day we talked nov 21 and not the day I received the car dec 10!!!! So I'm late and have fees. Then I called and messaged needing to know the finance company I was told they would find out and the salesman said it wasn't his department. But by the time I figure this out it was due Jan 4 and I'm late cause I assumed I had a month to 45 days till the first payment. I see now it started from nov when I didn't even have the car. I tried to talk to the salesman and he said it wasn't his problem. Salesman AARON JOHNSON wasn't professional at all when I said I was going to call management cause I'm not late on payment or tag. I went to dmv the day it said on my car January 21, 2022. This was a whole mess anyway I'm a single mother buying a car with a co-signed by my father in another state and they made everything in his name primary and tagging it in his state I live in arkansas so I have to get Oklahoma insurance and drive 3 hrs to tag office then cancel it because the car is insured in arkansas where it is addressed. Then tag the car again in arkansas so it's correct. I have texts from him not caring on lights on and poor customer service. I will not go back and not send a sole their way!!!!! he even added a haha!! To one of my messages. I'd like to start by saying that I worked for them as a cashier until today. I recently bought a car 2 months ago and have had it serviced twice. First time they informed me I did not need an alignment and the vehicle was in great condition. Fast forward to last week I dropped 400$ on 2 NEW tires and an alignment. I went into my managers office as a CUSTOMER not an employee (Name is Tony Bates) and he proceeded the conversation with light heartedness and jokes while I on the other hand was rightfully upset. As an employee they expected me to carry on with no complaint, however, that wasn't the case. I got emailed my survey and gave them what I believed to be an accurate review of service. Which the General Manager later on (Colby Hutson) wanted to intimidate me by saying I cost the company "X" amount of money. Not an hour later I was fired due to "internal changes". Coincidence? Possibly, possibly not. They've been keen to advise me on deleting customers email contact out of our system in order for it not to cost them anything, however, I think with any dignified business they should handle criticism with integrity. Not to mention I've been there since July and worked/ did as I was told whether I was fit for the task or not. Very unhappy with how they've handled customers and hold no respect for their employees. read more
