Always check your order before you leave! I paid almost $4 for a Caramel Mocha and got a half filled cup of lukewarm coffee with cream and sugar. No whipped cream, no caramel. I've had so many problems with this location, but this was the final straw and I felt I had to put my 1 star review in with all the others. Finding animal hair in your food is by far the most disgusting find I have found. I also called and made a complaint and didn't ask for a refund nor food replacement. The manger on the phone accused me of being dirty and saying it was me. Ummm no! I don't have animals at all and if it was me then I wouldn't be calling in. She kept saying we don't have animals in our place.... I never said you had an animal in the damn building at all.. I said you have someone who is handling your food and obviously has animal hair on them. She wouldn't listen at all. Always fresh and tasty food at the Windsor McDonald's... At least it is when I come here. It's always good for a quick bite... One thing I do need to mention is what is the deal with all McDonald's and their pies and cookies,especially the chocolate chip cookies, they use to ALWAYS be soft and fresh and thats the only reason I would buy a couple but now it seems they are always hard and the pies are to dry like over cooked. Went to Windsor McDonald's tonight and I've been to so many before. Absolutely best experience ever at a McDonald's, hands down! Norma is the woman who helped me on a few occasions and another young male with dark brown hair. Every thing was clean, including the play area which is where we aimed to go initially! Bathrooms clean, service was so polite and greeted with a smiling face each time. My daughter spilled her drink and Norma said "oh no!" that she would clean it up (after I offered) and instead of complaining about us making a mess, she asked if my girls were okay. We got some ice creams just as ordered, and some fresh hot apple pies! So good! Thank you Norma and staff at Windsor McDonald's for giving us an exceptional experience tonight! Wow. Just wow. After months of my seven year old desperately pleading to try a happy meal, I caved today and took him to this location. Even though I did not eat the crap they serve there, the "quality" of his happy meal was truly depressing. Gnats. Yes, gnats, flying out from the cheeseburger. Flies all over the restaurant. The bathroom in abhorrent filth. Truly disgusting. I am surprised they are allowed to serve to the public in the condition it was in. As if the quality of the food and facility wasn't bad enough. The attitude and service of the employees was pretty shocking. Everything we ordered was wrong except for the French fries, packets of ketchup and the pre packaged apple "juice". It's crazy that people this incompetent or unwilling to do their jobs, demand to be paid $18-20 an hour. I wouldn't hire them at $5 an hour to watch paint dry. First of all overpriced and thats saying something for a mcdonalds. Second of all why is it that none of the workers can speak any language at all? I dunno... Had to hurry home, went here for a quick dinner, and used the drive thru. Ordered "1 Qtr Cheese Ml-Lrg" NO Pickle $9.09 and "1 L Mocha Frappe" - With the upcharge for the drink a total of $13.18 As I headed towards window #2 I noticed the car ahead had pulled forward a bit, stopped, and presumably checked their bags to make sure the order was correct. I should have taken that action more seriously. I received the Frappé, but was asked to pull around to the front and wait for my burger and fries. This is often a price I pay for "no pickle", and that was fine. Within a few minutes someone came out with a bag, handed it to me, I thanked her, and headed home. Got here, opened the bag -- no fries. Now it was about 6:30 PM when I drove through, and that's a busy time, but I've visited this location on three separate occasions and this was the SECOND TIME that my order had been shorted. The people working here have always been polite, the food prepared well (up to the corporate standard of uniformity, which is their goal), and they're 24 hour, which can be handy for people like me. I have irregular hours, and while I'm staying in Windsor temporarily, I've noticed there are few 24 hour ANYTHINGS up here. I wouldn't bother to complain about this because it happens from time to time - but 2 out of 3? I'm reminded of the immortal words of Leo Getz (Joe Pesci) in Lethal Weapon II: "They f*** you at the drive-thru, okay?" I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the inside of this McDonald's was. They seemed pretty short staffed and busy with the line of drive thru cars but took my order as soon as he could. I ended up having to wait longer than expected for my order, which was just a coffee, but when I brought it up that I was still waiting he was beside himself. If you are a food app delivery driver, I strongly urge you to exercise your right to decline all orders to this particular McDonald's. If you arrive in the drive-thru (when the lobby is closed) they will tell you that you are "too early" even though if you are not a food app delivery driver they would (hopefully) never tell you that. They will then refuse to start your order until they've made all the other delivery app orders that arrived before yours, which means everybody's food will be cold and you get to spin through the drive-thru repeatedly. Possibly as a result of constantly-irritated food delivery app drivers confounded by their bass-ackward policy, they are very rude about this issue, honestly rude in general. I don't expect a whole lot from fast food places - people do the work they're paid for and wages in that industry are awful. But I do expect the franchise owners to understand how drive thrus work, and this franchise owner does not. Again, decline any order from this dump - it's not worth it! read more

Manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. I went at about 830 pm and waited for about 15 minutes in the drive thru. I had a coupon on the McDonald's app for $2 off. The cashier scanned it but it didn't work. He said they had been having problems with it all day. The manager came and said that they don't accept coupons after 3pm. No where on the terms of the coupon does it say anything about that. I asked for sauce packets in the drive thru and they gave us the wrong type. There were other patrons who had to do the same. We waited roughly 6 minutes for our order and they only gave 4 napkins for 5 people and no straws when we clearly ordered drinks.
